“I love everything about this place. I started coming here looking for a quick place for lunch close to my job. They have the freshest shrimp rolls with the freshest seafood I’ve ever had? I’m completely addicted. I took my co-workers there for lunch and they all were completely happy with their order. I come here often, and my coworkers said they’re definitely returning also. Yesterday, after watching a YouTube video, my wife and I decide to drive one hour visit this place, and it proof worth the driving... the fly whiting and steam shrimp are super delicious, haven't had such nice seafood, since I left New Orlean a decade ago.“

“We’ve been looking for a seafood place that similar to our favorite seafood restaurant back in Colorado and here it is! So delicious and worth the bucks. Their clam chowder tastes so good as well and lots of flavors. We recommend this place!“

“I really wish I could give a stellar review because the food is absolutely fabulous here. Not to mention, they will modify anything on the menu to food specifications, for instance for me who can't have gluten, eats only seafood and no cheese. Yes, they work with this with ease and everything is delicious.

The reason I can't give an amazing review is because having gone twice now, the first time our service was excellent and the second time more recently the service was very poor. Our food came out at different times to the table and as a group of four it was very disruptive. Also, many tables were turned over before we even got half way through our meal. I'm not sure what happened to be honest. I will say this was not our experience the first time we went and given how amazing the food is we will try it again.

The response from the owner that he would reach out was completely false. It is over 2 weeks now and I have heard nothing. For me, the irony was I was actually planning to come back out. But now…. ?‍♀️.

“Illata has become our favorite Fitler Square restaurant, and we've been in the neighborhood for 22 years. It's a little gem, nestled on Gray's Ferry Ave just steps from South Street. The staff is extraordinarily pleasant and helpful, and the food is - in a word- exquisite. All delicious, all prepared beautifully, a very balanced menu of seafood, red meat and vegetarian options. Their desserts are divine!
But perhaps the most amazing, and extremely reasonable addition, to the menu is their sourdough bread- hearty and flavorful, with a perfect slightly chewy feel on the tongue. We've taken to order some to go!

Buffet style salad bar and the beef and tails is a popular meal because you get beef tips and a lobster tail cheaper than if you got the surf and turf. I can also say they don't skimp on the alcahol when they make you a mixed drink. My Margarita cam in a 16oz glass and hit the spot with just 1.“

“First time trying this restaurant. As someone who has lived in Turkiye (Iskenderun, Bornova and Ilica/ Cesme) Their food was amazing! We ordered the lahmacun, a cheese pide and shepherds salad.
