As a Southerner that works for a NJ company, the 101 Pub represents everything great about the area - the local feel, the strong drinks, the vocal opinions about the sports teams. Not to be missed.“

“This has been our go to spot since we discovered it about three years ago. It is a family owned and operated establishment. It’s got that great in town vibe. Many regulars frequent. There is a large outdoor eating area if you don’t want to eat indoors. What’s nice about their outdoor space is that it isn’t just tables thrown on the sidewalk, they actually have a patio that is not visible to traffic. Which is very nice. The portions are large and delicious. Always cooked to order and piping hot. It is a bring your own, but if you bring a bottle of tequila, vodka, or rum they will provide the mixer which is kind of cool. So you can have your frozen margaritas at a fraction of the cost. I strongly recommend you at least try this cozy in town friendly establishment.“

Parking: Parking can sometimes be difficult because of the Italian restaurant customers taking up the specified chinese restaurant spaces.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

Our most recent visit was a mid-morning couple’s dining stop—our answer to a calling to bring pure health and exquisite taste into our bodies and souls. abcV was the perfect answer. We indulged in the unique “Pollen” smoothie (pollen, jungle peanut butter, dates, banana, almond milk, Himalayan salt). I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this chilled and creamy culinary delight was! Served elegantly in a cabernet-style wine glass, I could immediately feel my cells rejuvenate with this healthy creation. Each dish had its own layer of perfection with unique flavors and exquisite presentation. I’d say a restaurant on its way to becoming Michelin…..bravo! “My first time at L'industrie did not disappoint. This place had been on my list for a while, but I never bothered trying it because there's always a long line whenever I walk past it.

I showed up on a Saturday, just before opening at 12pm. As usual, there was a queue, but thankfully it moved pretty quickly (about a 20-25 min wait). Once inside, we got the Buratta, Sausage Pesto, and Pepperoni with hot honey. Can't go wrong with any of these, but the Buratta was my favorite (so crunchy and delicious)! We also ordered an ice cream and olive oil cake for dessert. Cannot recommend the olive oil cake enough👌

Luckily, we snagged a spot at the counter and were able to dine in. Had my friend not visited from out of town, I probably wouldn't have waited in line, but I'm glad I did. Totally worth the hype! Friendly staff as well :)“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Had to swing by the new Boucherie and see what this new addition was bringing to the Chicago scene. My visit on a Sunday at 7:30pm was way different than my visit on a Thursday night at 8:30pm. Sunday was calm, spacious with a very moderate noise level but Thursday night was oddly the complete opposite - it was loud, busy and had much less space! 😂 I’d definitely say be cognizant of that when you go; the vibes can vary. The drinks were good - my favorite was “La vie en rose” and the French martini was tasty as well. Loved the escargots and the garlic butter sauce they were drowned in! I also had the saumon roti and that choron sauce on top was delish! I wasn’t a fan of the Paris-Brest for dessert, but the crème brûlée was good! The interior is so beautiful! 😍 Stop by for a visit and see how you like this new Chicago restaurant! Ask for Manuel to be your waiter - he was the best!!!“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“I wouldn’t call Katana a dive bar, but on a Tuesday night it felt like a great neighborhood bar. Relaxed atmosphere. Was surprised at how small it was but that added to the chill vibe. I bet on a Thirsty Thursday and the weekend that all changes, but the bartenders and the craft cocktails will be just as great.“
