“This Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was outstanding. The dumplings were delicate and filled with delicious fillings. The Sweet and Sour Pork was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right balance of sweet and sour flavors. The restaurant also pays attention to detail in presentation. “Happened to come across this place by surprise and at the last minute. Was looking for something light - a la a moo shu pork. I wasn't sure what to expect - but have to say it was really, really good. It is the first time I remember eating the whole portion. It was a great balance of vegetables, protein and seasoning. The only down side, using egg roll skin as the pancake is a bit of a cop out. A true Mandarin pancake would have earned it 5 stars.“

“In my continued quest to find a New York style Chinese restaurant, based on recommendations from neighbors, I tried this restaurant. I ordered online at their website which was fairly easy to do. Being a bargain hunter I couldn’t resist the family dinner for six. It came with six egg rolls, six chicken on sticks, six cheese wontons, 2 quarts of soup, two quarts of fried rice, and choice of three entrees. It came with all of the appropriate sauces, crispy noodles, etc. The delivery was promised in 55 minutes and the food arrived exactly on-time. The egg rolls were crispy and very good. The chicken on the stick was very moist and tasty. The wonton soup was tasty and very traditional. The cheese wontons were a very nice starter and the dipping sauce added nice sweetness. For entrees we had sesame chicken which got a thumbs up from my wife. I ordered roast pork lo mein which was also a thumb up. I struggled deciding on a third entree and finally gave in to honey chicken (not my personal favorite because of the thick coating batter). Overall, a very competent dinner. I’m glad the food was really good because we’ll be eating the leftovers for many days!“

“I enjoyed my lunch here - the scallion pancakes were really tasty! The fried rice was a little underwhelming, but all in all the meal was tasty. I would recommend as a quick lunch spot or you can order ahead like me! Side note - the guy working the front was very kind :)

“Been going to this place for many years and can't believe I have never reviewed it before. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. We have tried quite a few but always come back to China City. The food is fresh and tasty, portions are large and orders are ready when they tell you. Family that runs it is wonderful. They were closed during a good portion of Covid and we struggled to find an acceptable replacement. Judging by the lines out their door when they reopened many other people thought the same.“

“I came to the restaurant in the hope of getting a plate of sashimi. However, the menu did not have it available except for a small couple of pieces portion or a la carte. So I had a sushi roll version made up for me with cucumber. Because it's not a traditional Japanese sushi sashimi place with many fresh fish options, I only had the basic fish options like tuna, salmon and yellowtail. In terms of freshness, it was good. I'm sure the regular sushi rolls are fine but I didn't try any since my heart was set on sashimi. They tried the best they could to accommodate me.“

“Great place for dim sum. They have a wide variety of classics (like egg tart, chicken feet, fried pork buns, etc) and non-classics (like clams, shrimp, crab, mango sago, etc). Their prices range from $4.50 for a small dim sum to $12 for “chef” dim sum.

The service is fast. We came during brunch hours on a Sunday and even though there was a lot of people, we were instantly seated. And as soon as we got a table, the dim sum carts swung by right away. The servers can be a bit aggressive in insisting you take certain dishes (by placing them on the table before you’ve agreed to them), but as long as you say no they’ll take them away.

The inside is your typical Chinese dim sum restaurants with round tables and many dim sum carts running around.

The bathroom is clean and large with multiple stalls. It looks relatively new.

We parked in the lot outside and had no trouble finding parking.

There doesn’t seem to be good reception for AT&T here so we had some trouble navigating away after eating here.

“It was a baby shower hosted by the parents of the first time mother. The menu chosen by the father was selecting 90 percent of the delicious dim sum on themenu. We had every dish commonly enjoyed by families.

There were 30 tables with many young children all enjoying the food and the occasion. It was a wonderful celebration for new life, a new baby for expecting parents, grandparents, and family members and friends. The food, service, and the general happiness of the attending members was memorable.“

We’ve ordered Lo mein, steamed dumplings, chicken with garlic sauce, general tsos chicken, chicken with broccoli and pork fried rice. Five star review every time, this is our third time ordering and the new Chinese place for us in the indefinite future. Fast delivery usually. “I ordered a side order of boneless spare ribs small and a egg roll for my mom the ribs were very good and delicious ? perfectly cooked and not greased my mom enjoyed the egg roll. Wonton soup was really good. Had a little taste of ginger in the wonton. It's worth noting that I've had their steamed dumplings in the past, and they were very good as well. Meaty and flavorful. White rice was the perfect consistency, as I like it on the sticky side. The woman on the phone was very polite, and the delivery came quickly. “I ordered general Tso chicken lunch combo with a side of pork dumplings. The dumplings are TO DIE FOR. They fried them so perfectly. The dough was well proportioned with the filling and crisp if you eat them fresh. The pork fried rice was ok. Could use a little more seasoning but it wasn’t bad with some soy sauce. It balanced out the chicken and dumplings. The chicken had that standard thick sauce used in other Chinese chicken dishes. General Tso is made with chili flakes and is supposed to be spicy with a hint of sweet crispy chicken. But that sauce drowned out the other flavors of the chili that gives this dish its identity.The dumplings are definitely my favorite thing here. I would come again.The food took about 15-20 min to make which is quiet a while. But they did make everything fresh and hot. Which tasted a lot better that way.Spent $18 for everything. $9 (and change) for lunch special and $8 for dumplings.“

It is Americanized Chinese food, and I have been to China. Now for Amer. Chinese food, the scallion pancakes were bad, doughy not crunchy at all, a 1 star. The basil beef was pretty decent, with enough basil and flavors, although my medium spice was more mild, but that is very subjective at each restaurant. The important thing is that the base dish was flavorful, a 3.5 to 4 star. HnS soup was a 3 star. Pretty std for American Chinese HnS soup. Important question: Would I go back? If it was more local, yes, I would probably have this as my std place. But with a 20-minute drive, I can go elsewhere.“
