“We are BEYOND ECSTATIC with our wedding cake and all other pastries and desserts provided by Calandra’s Bakery! No other bakery bakes your cake at 3:00AM the day of your wedding and it shows! Super fresh moist and SUPER DELICIOUS! Every guests commented about the spectacular presentation…simple yet elegant carrying our live orchid theme with LIFELIKE piped orchid petals cascading down each layer! What a joy to have such an unforgettable and memorable experience of knowing our family and friends will remember our wedding cake as much as we will! We had the choice of several bakeries but must end by telling this story…we had checked out a couple of bakeries but after a final wedding gown fitting we decided to visit Calandras. Unannounced we asked to see the person who could help us with our wedding cake. Calandra’s is an incredible “complex” and was extremely busy place but we were directed to Aisha Maliki. Aisha dropped everything presented us with an exquisite tray of every wedding cake option in bite size proportions all fresh and delicious. She gave us coffee and tea and gave us time to talk amongst ourselves in a relaxed atmosphere until our decision was unanimous! She then proceeded to take us through the endless design options available and helped us tweak every little detail until alas our vision for the PERFECT wedding cake had come to life! Mind you we did this unannounced but Aisha couldn’t have been more cordial personable professional and most of all friendly! We left SO elated to leave having one of the most important wedding checkboxes checked and feeling we just had welcomed a new family member into the fold! Based on our incredible experience with Aisha and Calandra’s your choice for YOUR wedding cake and pastries should be Calandra’s! You will definitely not be sorry!“

“We were treated to a very varied drink experience. The different drinks on the menu helped us sample drinks according to what we were interested in. I have to say the Speakeasy was probably my favorite, especially because of the presentation. Some of the drinks we had were a good combination of different flavors and spirits.“

“Food is delicious, greeting from the host station was non existent, server, Brian, was attentive and delivered hot food quickly.The pork chashu in the Tonkatsu ramen was not good (tough, off-putting flavor) despite having some of the best broth I've had.Vegetable gyoza were fantastic!Recommended.“

The sushi is unique in that each piece is individually wrapped in sustainable plastic so the nori retains its crunchiness. Have you ever noticed that nori on typical sushi is soggy? I didn't either, until I tried the crunchy nori at Nami Nori. So good! The whole table was raving about it. We had a business lunch here with 6 guests from NYC and LA. Everyone thought it was spectacular. It was a wonderful way to show off the amazing restaurant scene in Montclair. Beautiful minimalist space. Pretty expensive so date night or special occassion appropriate. Will be back!Vegetarian options: They are good about veg options. Several on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They ask up front and seem very diligent. Top notch.Parking: Street or garage only.Kid-friendliness: Not super kid friendly but could work for sushi-loving adventurous kids who can handle fine dining.“

“Impressive small plates, charcuterie, and cocktail. Great views of the valley. Perfect spot to hang out with friends at happy hour. Price was not too high, but it’s easy to go overboard. Special note: the ONLY place in the NYC area where I have been served real Sicilian anchovies (they are NOT like American ones).“

“I live in Maryland, and was up in Jersey visiting family. My girlfriend, cousin and I all had dinner on 3/23. Sam provided excellent service, and drinks recommendations. In addition, we had an 8:30 reservation, yet never felt rushed. Thanks again to Sam.Cocktails we had were the Smooth operator, steel magnolia, and the southwest cider. All 3 were amazing. Kudos to the barteam as well.We had the calamari and burrata as appetizers, both fantastic.Next time we find ourselves in Jersey, we will be back 100%.“

“Nice place. All food is good. Quick service. Really small place, only has about 8 tables. Had 2 strawberry margaritas. 1st one in a highball glass with a very dry lime wedge, decent. The 2nd one was in a short glass with another dry lime wedge that tasted different and not as good as the 1st one. Bad lime season so not the bars fault.Parking: Very small parking lot. Few spots in the street. After hours you can park in the post office parking lot across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: None in the front of building. I don't know about the back.“

“My husband and I love this place. We go frequently and sit at the bar to eat and watch hockey. The food is always good and my husband enjoys the beer list, which is updated frequently. A special shout out to John and Brendan behind the bar who always make us feel welcome.“

“Stop by Thursday night for the first time after work. I was very surprised and impressed from the moment I arrived. “I just had the best experience at Q'tal! Our server was so attentive but also gave us space to talk and catch up. She was so kind and everything she recommended was delicious. I highly recommend the jackfruit croquettes and the sliders which I love that they have vegan options for someone like me. I'm not sure of the name it was a passionfruit cosmo type drink and I didn't even realize it came out with a dry ice bubble. 10/10 for presentation on everything and ambiance. They have a dining area which feels a little more formal ( the chairs were so comfy by the way) and then a bar area with high tops which I think would be great for a girls night. I already can't wait to go back!“

“My wife and I went to Bitol for Saturday Brunch and all I can say is WOW. We were both extremely surprised with the great service and food. We sat at the bar and Hailey was great, one of the best Bloody Marias (Mayan Maria) I have had. My wife loved the Butterfly Pea Tea Mimosas that came with her Mimosa flight. They had great brunch food options and we both really enjoyed our dishes, their guacamole app with the Sikil-P’ak was on point!! We will be back again for brunch, looking forward to their Taco Tuesday night, as well as future dinners at Bitol.“

“Then overall experience was great! The samples were phenomenal! We brought in the new year drinking cathouse gin and woke up feeling great. There's definitely a lot of intention, knowledge and passion that goes into their high quality products. Two days later and we're still talking about how much fun we had. “Went there Saturday before concert.Atmosphere was excellent. The staff was excellent, first time there. Our server was very helpful with our questions. The drink selection was great. We ordered the crispy cola wings, great flavor but wings were over cooked and dried. The Chicago pizza was excellent, I order a sausage and ricotta pizza. My wife order mushrooms and truffle pasta, it was excellent. I found it better than the pizza. Great place and will return very soon.“

“Overall our brunch was very good with a couple of minor issues. The banquettes need cleaning, the juices in the cocktails weren't shaken thus making the drinks watery and not full flavored. I sent mine back and the waiter brought me another quickly. The food was good. We will come back for dinner in the future.“

And everyone agreed that all the ladies there were super attentive. The music was so good and the food was even better. Jamelle was our waiter and her patients divine. “My second time to this resturant and I will go again. Very good all the way around. Had a goat appetizer that was excellent. I had the vegetarian lentils and they were supper. Had the lamb chops for our main dish. Everything was cooked to perfection, but the lamb chops were definitely way too salty for us. I would recommend this restaurant it’s really good and when we go back again, we Will ask for way less salt on the lamb chops. Enjoy.Vegetarian options: I had the lentels. Very good.“

“Very busy. We were however able to get one seat at the bar to have a drink while we waited for another party and our table. Really enjoyed the shrimp and calamari appetizer. Had tuna appetizer for my dinner. Pizza was clearly fresh and yummy also. The wings were also delicious.Parking: Very busy shopping mall so depending on time may have trouble parking“

“Great Detroit pizza and wonderful cocktails. I had a sidecar and a sazerac, and multiple pieces of pizza(s) . All pizzas were great, there is no wrong pizza to order.The coca cola chicken wings you will love, or not. Still, order them, because the cook on the wings is perfect and someone in your group will be ecstatic.“
