“I used to live in the area ; was up visiting family and I stumbled on this place by way of an IG reel so I figured I would give it a try because (a)-it was the Friday that NJ experienced a 4.8 earthquake and I most certainly didn't think I was in the right headspace to do any cooking and (b)-this place was literally 1 mile away from my mother's house so I figured I'd pay the extra overhead and have it delivered because it was so close.Let's get the con out of the way; despite me putting my address in and stating where I lived the food was never delivered. I received prompt notifications on my phone about it being almost ready & that it was on its way..but I literally was standing in front of the single family residence and received a text that my food was delivered but it wasn't. Not the best first impression..When I called the establishment Chelf Salty communicated his dismay and stated he would remake my order for in person pick-up; I appreciated his effort to make this right so I agreed.I'm glad I did.I ordered the spicy miso ramen, the tori katsu ramen, and the stamina ramen (was sharing with mom).The spicy miso ramen has a nice kick, the ramen noodles have a good chew and the pork confit was silky. Katsu ramen and stamina ramen though brothless had great balance of flavor between the amazingly dressed noodles (again nice kick in heat/flavor that wasn't blindingly spicy), perfect jammy eggs and the the chicken katsu was DIVINE..perfectly crisp..juicy..and again..great balance of flavor in the chicken.If you don't feel like getting in your car to drive to a ramen place and just want to tuck into some yummy ramen at home do give this place a try..I'm glad I did. Is it the best ramen I have ever had in my life? No..but I think it holds its own with the other ramen places in Essex county and again..I think it's a great option for the peeps that live in Nutley/Belleville area that just want to tuck into some good comfort food that isn't pizza or mexican-give it a shot!“
“Food is delicious, greeting from the host station was non existent, server, Brian, was attentive and delivered hot food quickly.The pork chashu in the Tonkatsu ramen was not good (tough, off-putting flavor) despite having some of the best broth I've had.Vegetable gyoza were fantastic!Recommended.“

“I was really impressed by this place!We got the coconut shrimp bao buns to start which were absolutely delicious. The shrimp was crispy and hot and the sauce/toppings took it over the top. Perfect snack before our entrees.I got the “cheese steak” ramen and it was truly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The short rib was tender, the caramelized onions brought so much flavor. The portion was extremely generous, was only able to eat half and took the other half to go.The tres leches tiramisu is a MUST. It was perfectly decadent without being too sweet or heavy.The service from the entire staff was amazing. They were super attentive with refilling our waters, clearing dirty plates and wrapping leftovers. Every staff member that interacted with us was extremely pleasant, accommodating and welcoming.My only small complaint would be that the tables are EXTREMELY close together. Like truly a couple inches. It made it hard to have conversation at times and it was awkward when you or the table next to you had to get in or out because it was very tight.Overall, we will absolutely be back and we look forward to trying more dishes!“

Tbh I was surprised how this was in Newark cause the outside for a sec can make u think the shop is abandoned yet once you go inside you smell what’s been cooking. The price is definitely right ($13) and I am happy a plate of DELICIOUS and savory ramen isn’t overpriced like other places. I enjoy coming here as it’s very fulfilling. And this place definitely deserves it’s recognition as it’s 2 good 2 b true 2 be in Newark (no offense) ?♀️. “Nama Noodle Bar remains a delightful family run restaurant that blurs into high tech customer service functions, and I don't just mean the robot waiter for that matter. It's through them I really discovered the simplicity of the Toast tab app. And despite their modern motif, it keeps a classy mom & pop shop feeling inside which is a pleasure to be near. But I highly recommend their ramen bowls, it's a budgetary style that doesn't short on ingredients and variety, with good options to choose for everyone's preference. I'm pretty boring with that and prefer Shoyu w/ Pork Belly, nothing special. Other budget ramen shops tend to forgo having many ingredients inside like Nama Noodle bar, so I prefer coming here when I feel like having a bowl, however rare that may be.Like I said, I'm very routine and very happy to have Nama Noodle Bar in my routine! All this time, I still haven't even tried all their rice bowls and noodle options. “So I wanted to bring my sis here for some seafood ramen. I had tried their food before via delivery thru an app and enjoyed it sooo much. We went on a Friday afternoon and were seated right away. We knew exactly what we wanted, so we ordered quickly. In the meantime, we were given some water with mint leaves and lemon... oh, so great (I have to do that at home). Our ramen came out pretty quickly and it was delicious as always...my picky sister loved it... This food reslly hit the spot. We'll be back to try other soups.“

Ninja Sushi called to discuss my experience and when I mentioned it was my birthday they INSISTED on personally delivering the order themselves at no charge. i am floored by their customer service and kindness. the food was great as well. definitely a new FAVORITE of mine!“
“Ordered take out from this great location. Service was very fast. The place had great vibes plenty of seating and had really cool art up. I ordered in house. Was in and out in 15 min. Staff was super friendly. The food traveled extremely well. The boa buns had an excellent sauce. The ramens broth was the best component. Next time will order extra pork. “I’ve been trying to book this place for months and was finally able to snag a convenient time!Our server Igor was absolutely wonderful and super friendly. He suggested a few meals for us but we ultimately chose the Omakase which came with a 5 course meal.We started with Salmon Crudo which was served over a Furikaki Cracker and Crema. The cracker was SOOOO GOOD and the crema was great!The Calamri Fritti packed a ton of flavor and had a slight but subtle spiciness to it.Next we were served the Ramen Shrimp Scampi. It was very delicious and had a sweet note to it. A little on the saltier side for me but would still rate this dish a 9/10!My absolute favorite part of the Omakase was the Black Cod which was cooked to perfection! The Miso had the perfect balance between creaminess, salt and a little sweetness. The Cod literally flaked right off and couldn’t have been cooked better!!!Our last dish was the Zeppoles with a chocolate dipping sauce. The Zeppoles had a crunchy exterior and a very soft and spongy but light inside. It was a delightful dessert.Overall I would 10/10 recommend.“
“Aaran and Gracie, are amazing every visit!! I love them so much that I would only sit where they serve! They give great recommendations! The food is always hot and the service is superb! My favorite meal is a the super duper spicy miso ramen with pork belly, an extra side of short rib, x2 eggs, sometimes just one egg. The meals are so fulfilling. I had devoured it prior to writing this review. Today was the first time, I’ve tried the Panko shrimp. Yes, it’s crispy, lightly seasoned and just the right crunch! I’ve enjoyed this meal tonight with an Ani Bottle of wine. This spot is a Boyb! Thank god Aaran told me after so many visits. I did notice my Uber Eats and Doordash account, I order takeout 2-3 a month and eat in 3 times this month alone. I love this location and service!“

“I had the crab sushi burrito. It was soooo good!! It’s just a big California Roll with spicy Mayo and crunchy filling. I also ordered the Taiwanese brown sugar boba. It was absolutely delicious! “Cute little restaurant with a nice staff. I’ve been looking for good ramen spots in the area and this was not as good as I wanted it to be. The spicy ramen was not spicy and the broth was a little bland. The noodles were cooked well though. I’ve heard good things about this spot so maybe I’ll have to give it another chance.Now for my standard comments as of December 2023. Location is kept clean and seating is well distanced. Not sure if they have any room for outdoor seating though.“

Perfect place to stop for a quick ramen place with a chill vibe after walking around Bloomfield Ave all day. Food comes out quick and hot. Highly recommend. There is a space for those with wheelchairs near the front, & it is wheel chair accessible!“
“Finally tried this spot today. I got the ramen rice drink special, which wasn't that great of a deal but I wanted to get a feel for their food. I ordered the miso ramen and asked for it spicy, the black milk tea, and a beef rice. My sister got the matcha milk tea and tomato ramen. We both enjoyed our ramen! The miso ramen broth was nice and layered and spicy like I'd hoped. Ramen egg was perfectly soft boiled and the noodles were perfect. My sister enjoyed the tomato ramen, perfect for a cold winter day. I didn't love the rice side dish but the milk teas were very good. The place has cute decor but they need to keep the bathroom cleaner. The cook (maybe the owner?) was very nice and accommodating.“
“Been a few times now to eat in and grab take out. The people are always friendly and helpful in both scenarios. We've gotten a couple different ramen bowls and poke/burritos. Food is always tasty and generously portioned. Only minor complaint I've ever had is that the eggs in the ramen could be a little less cooked for me but otherwise everything else has been great.“
