“I love everything about this place. I started coming here looking for a quick place for lunch close to my job. They have the freshest shrimp rolls with the freshest seafood I’ve ever had? I’m completely addicted. I took my co-workers there for lunch and they all were completely happy with their order. I come here often, and my coworkers said they’re definitely returning also. You place your orders for meat via an iPad and all other foods (vegetables/fish balls/tofu etc) are self serve like a buffet. The meat comes out quickly and is good quality. The servers are very attentive and do a great job of taking away empty plates and replacing napkins. There are also some prepared foods, fruits, and desserts at the self serve station, as well as a full sauce bar. Drinks are located in the fridge (non alcoholic) and self serve, and are the classic Asian drinks like milk tea, aloe drink, and soy milk.

All tables have one large burner/one pot, so I wouldn’t recommend coming with a part of more than 4-5 people“

“Illata has become our favorite Fitler Square restaurant, and we've been in the neighborhood for 22 years. It's a little gem, nestled on Gray's Ferry Ave just steps from South Street. The staff is extraordinarily pleasant and helpful, and the food is - in a word- exquisite. All delicious, all prepared beautifully, a very balanced menu of seafood, red meat and vegetarian options. Their desserts are divine!
But perhaps the most amazing, and extremely reasonable addition, to the menu is their sourdough bread- hearty and flavorful, with a perfect slightly chewy feel on the tongue. We've taken to order some to go!

I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. “I really wish I could give a stellar review because the food is absolutely fabulous here. Not to mention, they will modify anything on the menu to food specifications, for instance for me who can't have gluten, eats only seafood and no cheese. Yes, they work with this with ease and everything is delicious.

The reason I can't give an amazing review is because having gone twice now, the first time our service was excellent and the second time more recently the service was very poor. Our food came out at different times to the table and as a group of four it was very disruptive. Also, many tables were turned over before we even got half way through our meal. I'm not sure what happened to be honest. I will say this was not our experience the first time we went and given how amazing the food is we will try it again.

The response from the owner that he would reach out was completely false. It is over 2 weeks now and I have heard nothing. For me, the irony was I was actually planning to come back out. But now…. ?‍♀️.

“I love supporting local businesses and captain's choice is on of my go to spots for beer or a seafood platter. He definitely has great prices on beer. He also sells wine as well as other alcohol drinks and cigarettes. My only complaint is that when you order the fried flounder platter they always give such a tiny amount of fries not even a handful of fries. I wish they would give you more fries with the meal. Also there the only place in the Mayfair area in my knowledge that sells cups of Philadelphia water ice all year around which I absolutely love.“

“Excellent food and service. I had a very nice juicy well seasoned Ribeye steak. (Perfect for mama) Hubby had king crab fried rice, crispy rice sushi and lobster bisque. The rest of the family also had what I was told amazing dishes and cocktails.

This is a really great place and the staff are very nice. The bar seemed pretty busy. Lots of people celebrating birthdays. If you are looking for a nice date spot with good food and don't mind paying a little extra you can get a really amazing meal here.

Parking: Streets are horrible both afternoon and night. Your best bet for parking is to park at the mall inside the garage. You can pay through your phone to secure a spot.“

Steak was perfect. Duck was the best I’ve had. Crab dip was great. The only complaint was the blondie brownie was dry. But we added the cream from a coffee order and it was good then. “Dinner at the Capital Grille was enjoyable and met my expectations for a steakhouse meal. The food was delicious and prepared well (aka correct meat temperatures). The menu had all of the steaks, seafood, and sides that you would expect to order.

Our server was very friendly and did a great job.

The location of this particular restaurant is on the western grounds of the Cherry Hill Mall. There is a large, free, parking garage right behind the resturant. The resturant was busy when we went with a short wait even for people with reservations, but not unexpected for a Saturday night at such a populated area.

The only reasons this wasnt a perfect 5 star review were atmosphere and price. Our dinner table was seated in a busy area by the bar and entrance rather than a main restaurant room, which is fine - it is a busy place and you have to fit tables everywhere you can, but a very different dine in experience. Just made it feel like a cheaper chain resturant rather than a fine steakhouse. The bill amount was expected, but for 3 people to spend close to $500 after a 20% tip with only one round of drinks, it is nice to have at least one wow factor in the meal.

I would absolutely eat here again when I am in the area and wanting traditional steakhouse food.

Vegetarian options: There are salads and sides, but most of the menu has either meat or seafood in it.

Parking: There is a Free parking garage right behind the resturant. There is a lot right in front of the resturant but there was a sign that said reserved for valet parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance has a normal door with no stairs next to the revolving/spinning door. Inside the resturant I did not encounter any stairs, the floors in the areas I was were all on the same level.“
