“During my recent visit to Aunty K's West African Restaurant, I had a great experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with a few tables and chairs for customers to dine in. The daily menu and prices were displayed on chalkboards behind the counter, making it easy to decide what to order. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Sidique came out from behind the counter to greet me, which made me feel welcomed.Although my favorite cassava leaf soup was unavailable on this visit, Sidique assured me it would be back on the menu soon. As an alternative, I decided to try the Peanut Butter Soup. The Peanut Butter Soup was delicious. Its savory taste balanced the slight sweetness of the peanut butter. The soup was rich and hearty, with stew chicken and beef. It was served with a generous portion of white rice. They also provided a small container of hot pepper sauce on the side, allowing me to customize the heat level.Overall, Aunty K's West African Restaurant is a clean and friendly establishment with tasty food. I look forward to returning soon.“

“Took my wife here during a conference trip to have a nice lunch and I must say the overall experience did not disappoint. We ordered an assortment of different oysters to start with. Sampling the flavor profile of each oyster was not only delicious but extremely fun as a couple. After oysters and wine, my wife ordered the lobster roll and I had the house clam chowder. The lobster was perfectly cooked and the position size was double that of the perfectly toasted and buttery brioche bread it was on. The fries were homemade and very good. I will say that they could have double fried them to make them a bit more crispy but overall very good. The clam chowder was very rich with smoke amounts of bacon, the smokey flavor from the bacon was a nice addition. The waiter was very attentive and took the time to engage and make a human connection, which is much appreciated. Overall, great experience and I would return here in the future.“

“We had the best service with Kate! She gave us tips on what to order and ahead of time was dead on. We started with a cocktail and had a glass of wine with dinner. We split the spicy chicken empanadas, delicious, however, we did not detect the spice. We split the green chili Caesar. Honestly, the best Caesar in town. I do t see how they get it so cold and crisp, it's amazing! We then each had a ceviche. The baby shrimp, which were much bigger than anticipated, such wonderful flavor! My daughter had the crab, the server suggested mixing it right away to get the sauce mixed in. Very good! It did need more liquid. We simply poured the extra shrimp sauce in the crab, it was superb after that. The tomato on the shrimp just gives it more moisture and such a good flavor! We can't wait to go back!“

“So…it is important that I leave a review. See, I travel all over the country and a perk of my job is a per diem that allows for some rather extravagant dining. It feels a bit embarrassing to admit, but I get to go to Michelin Star restaurants on a regular basis without paying out of my own pocket. I feel it is important to admit this because, after several experiences here on company dime, I was willing tonight to pay out of my own pocket.I understand this is normal for most…but please realize that I am very careful to *never* spend my own money. Although my work affords me the unique privilege of eating EXTREMELY well, I am pretty normal in every other regard, I am not rich. I would never normally justify a significant amount of actual, personal money on a dining experience. Yet here I am, writing this post-supper review.I do not have the time to do this.I have deadlines TOMORROW that I cannot fail.Still, here I am, speaking to you, a total stranger. I have no clue if you will read this. But if you do, random traveler (hello, btw), know this: I travel everywhere for work, and this is my favorite restaurant. For what it’s worth, I always have a waiter named Jonathan. Not sure that is an entirely consequential tidbit however, as literally every person I’ve ever witnessed while eating here has left with a smile on their face.Let me be clear: this is a dining experience. No, a human experience. From the ambiance, to the patrons, to the chef, to the wait staff…I promise you that you will not find a better “restaurant” experience in the continental United States. This is worth every penny you put into it. Enjoy, and tell them Brian Roberts sent you.“

“I saw this place on social media so wanted to check it out. You have an amazing idea here. I thought the Z thing was only for the menu but they have their employees substituting Z’s for everything. It’s funny, it’s an experience. Great customer service IMO.Y’all need to update your address or business page on google maps, this location shows one place. I saw another location on your website, this review is for the truck at 3400 Fox St. I’m not even sure what this business page address is for. Maybe this is an old location?Onto the chicken cheesesteak. I got one with fried chicken tenders inside, lettuce, and I think they put some kind of hot sauce as well. The bread this comes on is incredible. If you want anything HEALTHY, DO NOT come here, I’m reading that it’s deep fried bread. Whatever they do to it, I could’ve ate it alone. The fried chicken inside is seasoned well. It’s kinda too much and falls apart as a result but who cares, eat some first with a fork then eat the rest. I got fries here but they were just okay. I want to come back and try something else.“

“Went to SkyHigh to celebrate a friend's birthday. She was so surprised at the choice. The lunch selection was wonderful. We both ordered the cod which was prepared and presented well. The apple pie with pecan ice cream we ordered for dessert was delicious. Loved the crust - light and flaky. The ambiance and view of the city was spectacular. Table Service by Alecia was attentive. Definitely a place to visit again.“

“This place is a vibe! Black owned brunch spot. I found this place thru Google search. There’s free parking too. Service was excellent, our server was Sean who was very personable & friendly. As a matter of fact all the wait staff was friendly. We had “the status” cocktail that packed a punch- really delicious, served w/ edible flower & strawberry. My party had Cheeseteak & chicken cheesesteak rolls, chicken & waffles and shrimp platter w/ steamed vegetables. Taste & presentation 9 out of 10. I wanted the shrimps to be a lil bit bigger, but they were delicious!!! We will definitely be returning to try more of the all day brunch menu.“

“I know seafood establishments are popping up all over the place now, and I can say I think I've just about tried every one of them. I must say this has been one of the best ones that I've had thus far. The crabs' legs were fresh, the shrimp was a nice size and not overcooked ?, the broccoli was nice and crisp, the corn was amazing, the potatoes was just right and the overall seasoning was perfect ??. And the customer service was excellent. Will definitely recommend this restaurant as one of the best seafood spots in Philly. Hat's off to the cook, owner, and staff.“

“Our foursome loves Vietnamese cuisine and was happy to try Gabriella's on our visit to Philly. Our hopes were met and exceeded! The aromas and flavors brought back memories of meals we'd enjoyed in Vietnam. The herbs and greens, so universally part of Vietnam dishes and so often lacking here in the US were delightfully fresh and generously available. The service, family style, is exactly what we expected. And the server was friendly and helpful. The Gỏi Tôm Xoài (Prawn and Mango Salad) was perfectly balanced even though the mango, obviously, wasn't from a local tree (;-)). The Bánh Bèo Chén also had that flavorful balance (Water Fern Dumplings--no mango there). The special, Bánh Xéo Miên Trung (Shaken Beef) was outstanding, with beef more tender than we ever found in Vietnam and the tangy sauce simply mouthwatering. The unexpected stunner was the Dâu Hu Xào Xã (Lemongrass Tofu). Despite tofu's role as a bland protein base, the flavors really carried it. We'll be back whenever we get to Philly!“

I got the warm lobster roll, spicy honey lobster roll, and lobster mac. Most of the rolls are cold, so it is nice to try the warm lobster roll and have to order one of my favorites – spicy honey lobster roll as well. Lobster Mac on the other hand is alright, the pasta they used is quite unique but flavor wise is just okay, and not a huge fan of the breadcrumbs on top.“
