“I recently visited Mighty Bread Company in Philadelphia and it’s easily one of the most charming bakeries in the city. The place has a cozy neighborhood vibe, and you can tell right away that everything is made with real care and craftsmanship.

The sourdough bread is the star here—crispy crust, chewy inside, and full of flavor. I also tried one of their breakfast sandwiches and a pastry, and both were excellent. Everything tasted fresh, simple, and thoughtfully made.

“Love this place. Great sweet and savory bakes - tried the potato fatayer, scrambled egg sandwich (melt in your mouth bread), spinach and cheese borek (fragrant zaa'tar), and pistachio babka muffin (yum). Beautiful meghle spiced tea (iced) to go along. Friendly staff and warm, nostalgic ambiance.“

“I love the food here. But i went there tonight around 730 and it was frigid outside. Just as we were sitting down to eat our food the worker decided to open the doors to carry all the outdoor furniture in then kept them open while he changed trash outside too. Not a care in the world for how freezing it was for his customers. It was extremely disappointing. We drive like 25 minutes to eat here. May be a while before we do that again.“

“I’m obsessed! Found this bakery on too good to go & took a ride over (from jersey) I came home with 4 different flavors of the banana pudding & my 16 year old and I tried each one. I can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so good. The Magic flavor name makes complete sense when you take a bite because different flavors seem to magically appear in your mouth (peanut butter being the last to hit…) hard to explain but if you taste it, it will make sense! I got 2 large puddings in my order than bought 2 different small ones in different flavors & i regret not getting the 2 extra cups in large! Driving in Philly stresses me out but I’ve never wanted to drive back over there so bad! For more pudding! I will be recommending this bake shop to everyone! The guy behind the counter was super nice & welcoming and helped me pick out some favorites. It’s a nice Friendly shop with amazing puddings & I will definitely be back!“

“Welcome to the Asian 9rh st. The area is complete with nuance of fish heads and stray cats. The Filthy Orient would fit in well in this area. The pretzels are tasty ,but I have to disinfect my work boots when I leave this store.“

“Mayflower was a random stop but looked like a great option for a quick snack. We didn’t have to wait long to order and there are lots of options for buns! We got the pork bun and the almond butter bun, which are priced under $5 each. The pork bun was so delicious and stuffed with meat, and was sweet and savory! I could eat 5 more of those and call it a meal. The almond butter bun is very soft and buttery (makes sense) and better as a dessert rather than a snack. Great spot for a quick and tasty bite!“

“Authentic Chinese bakery. 紙杯蛋糕，cup cakes, were light fluffy and bouncy. So good! Ordered 20 plus of those cup cakes to go! Owners were so friendly. We ordered a lot of their pastries too. “I have never been to the storefront, but I have gotten various things from them several times at the East Falls and Fairmount farmers markets. Their cheesecake bars are absolutely the best bar of any kind I've ever had, I can't even describe them properly to do them justice, but it's insane to me that so few reviewers mentioned them (must be because their sandwiches are THAT good--I will have to go to the shop to try one apparently!). Their focaccia bread is also the fluffiest, spongiest, freshest bread I've tasted, and can easily be eaten plain by itself. Their chocolate cake is perfect--rich chocolate flavor and not too sweet. So I wholeheartedly recommend trying pretty anything they make!“

I went for my first time and the owner Steve could tell I was into bread and pizza and history and stuff and invited me back to check out how he bakes everything and showed me all the old machines, the mixer, the dough separator.
