“Our first time as we are visiting from out of town. Our server Cesar was so wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. The food was phenomenal. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and had a charbroiled taste which we loved. We also had the Bavarian pretzels app special which was awesome!!!! Our drinks were also fantastic. “I ordered for dinner the ribeye steak and onion rings. Cooked medium, the steak was flavorful; I did not need any sauce at all. The place was clean and the staff attentive (it was a Wednesday night).The bill, surprisingly, did not include gratuity or tip. You pay either by card (small charge additional) or cash. The "downsides" are: no parking lot for diners as you park on the sides of the Avenue. There is also no alcohol (wine, beer or cocktails) served. I will bring my family here and recommend to friends.“

“I’ve been to Dayton Steakhouse quite a few times, and I can honestly say I’ve tried just about everything on the menu — and I haven’t had a bad meal yet\! The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is great, and the service is just as good\.

I also have to give a special shout\-out to the cook\. He’s amazing at what he does, and you can tell he genuinely takes pride in his work\. What really stands out is that he actually interacts with the customers\. He takes the time to get to know people, comes out of the kitchen to check on everyone, and remembers their preferences\. That personal touch really makes a difference and shows how much he cares about the food and the people he’s serving\.

The fact that he gets to know his customers and uses that feedback to make their next visit even better is something you don’t see everywhere\.

“The mrs and i had our first date here and come every year for the anniversary, about time i left a review for the awesome food and service they provide, drinks are immaculate and the most impressive parts are the improvements over the years as well as the service. most recently we were served by tiana (i’m like 99% sure that was her name if not im sorry) and she was amazing, great energy and timely service and it seemed like she was genuinely happy to be there. until next year house 157 never change (although they did take away the lobster mac and cheese which was my favorite they added a whole plethora of new stuff to try AND in general the quality went up. a worthy sacrifice)“

“I go to this restaurant at least 2 times per month. Everything on the menu is great. Prices are cheaper than the other restaurants near by. Food is colombian but the owners are mexican but don't be fooled thinking that taste is not the same because it IS THE SAME TASTE OF COLOMBIAN FOOD. They do have customers parking in rear. Don't park across the street in the banks parking lot you will get towed as it happened to a friend of mine“

“Great Food, Great Service Great Atmosphere. So we were bummed when we saw they closed the original location because how much we loved the place. We were relieved when they announced they were opening up in a much more appropriate and highly upgraded venue. This was perfect timing for us to celebrate our 9 year anniversary here. Upon arriving the inside captures the comfort and style of the Livingston location and then improves upon it with the beautiful outside seating area. Now onto the food which is just as good if not better than the original location im glad to see the quality has remained consistent. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wifes pasta dish was packed with quality flavor. The drink menu was definitely brought to the next level as well everything seemed like it was fine tuned and everything we tried was on point and had its own unique delicious flavor profile. Andy behind the bar was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to about the different cocktails. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was great it wasn't youre traditional kind but we loved the spin they put on it with the cake and ice-cream. Lastly for service Jonathan took amazing care of us and made our special day very memorable along with the rest of the staff. Everyone that came by the table was professional and had a smile on their face. They all seemed happy and took pride in their work which was nice to see.
