“One of the best sushi spots I've been to. The fish was incredibly fresh, and every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, making for an excellent dining experience. If you're a sushi lover, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll be coming back again.“

“A calm and pleasant spot for lunch.

I came during the afternoon and the place was quiet.
The staff was very friendly and even asked how the meal was at the end.
Note: It’s self-service.

Food: The hand-pulled noodles and broth were fresh and excellent.
The fried side dish was crispy and flavorful.
Drink: The iced black tea with mango was light and very refreshing.
Tip: As you can see in the video - the portions are very generous.
I recommend ordering a small size because I couldn’t finish it.

Seating: I sat by the window facing the street. It was nice to eat and watch Broadway at the same time.
There’s also an inner bar table closer to the kitchen.
The place is clean and the surrounding area feels calm and safe.

Price: Very affordable and filling.
This was my first time trying authentic Chinese food and I was pleasantly surprised.
Highly recommend and worth saving for a real local meal.“

“Was visiting my godchild and she wanted to eat here. The staff was amazing as was the ramen. Cozy and cool. We went for lunch on a Saturday and we were seated right away. I would definitely go back“

“We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

“My boyfriend, daughter and I’s favorite restaurant. We love the friendly and welcoming service from the sweet woman at the counter I wish I could remember her name because she makes the experience even better. Moving to this new neighborhood and having this gem nearby is really nice we are lucky. The food is 10/10. Out go to is the stir fry, vegetable ramen for my toddler and the passion fruit tea! I love that my daughter looks forward to coming here and saying hi to the friendly lady and getting a little treat as well. Highly recommend :)“

“Excellent food, lovely owners! Great asset to River Edge!“

“My 1st time ordering take out here. The food was on time and delicious .“

“Star Sushi was a really pleasant surprise. From the moment we sat down, the place felt welcoming and comfortable, and the staff had that good mix of being friendly without hovering. The whole experience had a calm, easy pace, which made it enjoyable right from the start.

The sushi itself was excellent. Everything looked fresh and put together with care, and the flavors were well-balanced instead of feeling heavy or overly seasoned. Each bite had that clean, satisfying taste you want from sushi—nothing felt bland, and nothing tasted like it had been sitting around too long. The rolls were solid and filling, with nice textures and a good mix of ingredients.

What also stood out was how smooth the service was. The timing was right, the order came out neatly, and it felt like they actually pay attention to the details. Even though it was busy, it didn’t feel chaotic.

Overall, Star Sushi is a great go-to for anyone craving well-made sushi with a nice atmosphere and genuinely helpful service. It’s the kind of spot you leave thinking, “We should come back here again soon.”“

“Great food. Worth the $$$“

“Excellent food ,Large portions ,great service BYOB!!!!“

“This cute little neighborhood spot is my new favorite hangout. The ambiance is nice and bright, the staff is super high vibrational, and it’s reflected in the food! 🤤 the juices are fresh, the tacos are simply mouthwatering, and the sandwiches will blow your mind. I ate so much and left feeling supercharged haha- pure alchemy ✨🤌🏾 I’m eating here again tomorrow! 😹“

“Very nice place good sushi good food good sevise“

“This is your usual mom and pop shop that makes delicious food. Never too salty or too bland, portions are as expected, and pricing is good. I prefer the short 5-6 min drive to here vs. the 3-4 min walk to the spot closer to home because of the taste and quality. I'm actually eating chicken when I order my usual compared to Taste of China on Main St. Def recommend for a quick, affordable, and good meal.“

“Love this place. Small but clean. I love the plating they look beautiful. The food is delicious we will definitely coming back with my whole family next time ✨✨✨✨✨“

“Absolutely amazing! Go there!“

“Food is always fresh and yummy!!“

“I had an amazing experience at Masago Sushi in Ridgewood, NJ. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The prices are also such a big factor since its so low for such big portions. But what really stood out, was the service. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick without ever feeling rushed. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. I would like to acknowledge the service of Ashley. She was so nice and really made us know that we didn’t make a mistake going here.

The atmosphere is also a big plus! Warm, clean, and relaxing, with a modern touch that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or a nice dinner out. You can tell they put care into creating an inviting dining environment.

Overall, Masago Sushi delivers great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to everyone!“

“My wife and I met our friends from Long Island at Estihana Monday night. All of the food was delicious and nicely presented. Between the four of us, there was chicken, beef and fish ordered. The service was excellent. Our friends thanked us for choosing Estihana and we definitely recommend it to others. A special shout out to Tzvi for welcoming all of us and making us all feel comfortable.“

“Food is amazing... there is never a long wait and the food comes out extremely quick“

“This small, cozy Thai restaurant is one of my go-to spots when I don’t feel like cooking. The food is consistently delicious and very affordable. It’s also BYOB, which is a great bonus—I can bring my own wine and enjoy a relaxed meal.
Excuse the photos—I started eating as soon as the food came out and only remembered to take pictures afterward!“

“무엇보다 직원분들이 너무 친절하셔서 좋았어요 음식 맛도 정말 맛있었구요.“

“My gosh the food here was so very extremely goooood. The combos are great for the price and was able to feed the wife, kid and myself. Came from NYC to enjoy these Korean dishes. There may be other places like this but their spacing makes it a very short wait time, if at all.“

“Awesome atmosphere and music ….and the food is a “10” out of “10”!!! Delicious !!!!! The octopus is a definite must have!!!!!“

“This is one of our family's absolute favorite go-to spots, and I highly recommend it. My wife and daughter love their kalguksu so much that we find ourselves visiting almost every weekend. The soup broth is rich and deep, and the noodles are wonderfully smooth.
When you come here, you simply have to order the dumplings and kimchi jim along with the kalguksu. The dumplings are packed full and delightfully savory, while the kimchi jim is an absolute rice thief. Taking a sip of the warm kalguksu broth and pairing it with a piece of kimchi jim creates the ultimate flavor combination. The portions are generous, and we always leave fully satisfied. We will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommended for family dining.“

“We got a sushi platter on NYE and it was great. All good rolls, fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend it!“

“Good terrific Service great“

“Very good Korean Chicken dinner. My favorite. Plan to wait. Can be busy but that’s because it’s so good“

“My favorite sushi place ! Not only do they service the most delicious rolls, they treat you like family ! Awesome cocktails and great atmosphere ! Check out the OMG roll or fiesta !“

“This was my go to place back in the 90's my Buddy Jacob used to be their delivery guy. Best Egg rolls in the Bx, plus the food was Excellent. Staff was friendly helpful, & respectful. Looking forward to seeing if the old crew is still around!“

“After being a costumer of this place for years, have noticed a degradation of the quality of the food and the service provided under the new ownership. Prices a much higher and willingness to costumize your order is gone. Won't come back.“

“Holy Guacamole! I’ve been living in the area for years, I’ve always lived this place for the staple Chinese meals (chicken wings, chicken & broccoli, shrimp lo mien, egg rolls etc). I got into(very basic) sushi a few months ago& since then I’ve been ordering California Rolls, they are AMAZING. Yesterday I branched out of my comfort zone and OMGGGGG these Fire Island Rolls & the Rock & Rolls?!?! BOMBBB DIGGITY 😍“

“The food here is very good, one of our favorite places for takeout Chinese Food.
Only thing we could possibly critique is the pork fried rice, wish it had some peas, egg, onion like traditionally made. Kind of plain but flavor is still good.“

“I have been craving Chinese food for months, however been incredibly skeptical as the food quality has declined in many of the Chinese restaurants. I took a chance today and ordered off of GrubHub. I got the boneless spare ribs, house special lo mein, egg drop wonton soup and broccoli with garlic sauce. Everything tastes amazing! Food was fresh and portion size was large. What my taste buds miss from the good quality Chinese food I got as a kid. I hope the standards keep up. This is definitely going to be my go-to moving forward. I definitely recommend.“

“I’ve always had a wonderful experience at the Washington Heights location. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is always fresh and delicious. If you’re looking for plenty of options for your next meal, I highly recommend stopping by. You won’t be disappointed!“

“I was here on several occassions, especially with my best guyfriend and best ladyfriend's birthdays. Love the K-Pop music on display, and the waiters/waitresses are excellent for their presentation and service.“

“This is a top-notch Korean restaurant that has maintained a high quality of food and service over the years. Note that the same cannot be said about almost all other Korean restaurants in the area. The cozy, home-like atmosphere is perfect for unpretentious small gatherings. I always feel wonderful walking in and I’m always deeply satisfied after every meal at Myung Ga Won. So grateful and looking forward to future meals there.“

“Thanks Nihon Kai for delivering my sushi you satisfied my cravings. This place has the most super nice staff., highly recommended. Their sushi is so good. Highly recommended this place to anyone looking to dine in around Bergenfield, New Jersey“

“We celebrated Father's Day 2022. The food was fantastic. We chose all you can eat. Everything was fresh. We met the owner, very pleasant and the staff are very nice people, they're accommodating, they will give you a 5 star service. Definitely will go back there from Jersey City.“

“If I still lived in the area, I would be dining here at least once a week. But alas, I do not! Once a month, I come in for lunch, and I am never disappointed. The lunch menu is my favorite, with dishes offered only at lunch. Get the Kamo Nanban or the 2 for $20 special! Dinner is also wonderful! Hands down best sushi!“
