“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

Not only was the Cake made to how I had described, flavor and design. It was done inspite of a last minute request, to the perfection how I wanted it.

My friends and family raved about the triple chocolate cake i picked up for my sisters birthday and my best friend and i enjoy a quiet breakfast and cafe on the weekends! “This was my first time having a mochinut and it was absolutely delightful!!! Their taro mochinut has been my favorite flavor so far. The texture is sooo good. It's both chewy like mochi and doughy like a donut, the perfect mixture of both! Not too heavy and not too sweet. And their variety of flavors is amazing and unique! “My sister and I ordered a bouquet for my grandmother for Mother’s Day. I don’t normally do reviews but the service provided by my delivery driver, Gianna I believe was her name, prompted me to. My dad answered the door and had a pleasant conversation due to the friendly nature. So much so that he raved about it when I came home. Not only were the cupcakes delicious, well presented and enjoyed by all, the interactions with my family really made it all worthwhile. “I am very happy I took a chance on sunmerry. I’ve had sunmerry in Taiwan, and the products were very good there.

I ordered a taro pudding cake, and sunmerry delivered. The cream was light and airy, and not heavy/oily(like the frosting on the cakes at Paris baguette). The taro was actual taro paste, and the pudding was not overwhelming. It was the first time I finished a slice of cake with the frosting altogether.

But one issue, although yes I used to work in retail and i understand that people work long hours and deals with customers all day long. And i completely understand what is it like to be in their shoes.
But I noticed that two of male cashiers (9/20/24). They don’t seem that friendly with me. I’m not saying it has to be all sunshine and rainbows and for them to be all smiley or whatever lol. But still, I was friendly with them when I paid for my things at the register and they looked at me as if they were annoyed by me. Again understanding that they were tired and worked hard and I do appreciate all of them for their hard work to provide best customer service! But still they need to practice being just a bit more friendlier ? !
