“Best fruit cake I ever had“

“They will make the hot coffee fresh if you ask them to-which of course they should. If you're pre-diabetic maybe cinnamon rolls are not the best food to eat, but delicious. No, I do not indulge often. Not often at all because I'm currently far from wealthy. I'm far from rolling in the dough. No pun intended. The young woman with the glasses is kind, and I do not mean that in a weird way. Actually, one of the employees will not always make it fresh-communicating to me they made it 45 minutes ago & will not make it again. Yes, I contacted the owner about the profoundly rude behavior towards me on more than one occasion without getting into specifics.“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. The owner was such a great communicator and seriously went above and beyond. She even ordered the monster trucks herself to make my son's cake vision come to life! and let me tell you, a monster truck crashing into the cake is about as cool as it gets for a 5-year-old boy. 🛞💥🎂 My son was obsessed! And the Funfetti cupcakes? Oh. My. Gosh. SO moist, so yummy, and they disappeared faster than I could grab one for myself 😂. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. “Brenda, who works the cashier at the Paris Baguette is seriously amazing! I went in last week during the afternoon rush, and despite the chaos, she was super friendly and helpful. It's not just that she's efficient at ringing people up; she actually makes you feel welcome.

I was having a tough day, and her cheerful attitude totally turned things around. She recommended the mochi donuts, which were delicious, by the way! You can tell she really enjoys her job and cares about the customers.

Honestly, in a world where customer service can sometimes be lacking, Brenda shines. She's a total asset to that Paris Baguette, and I'll definitely be back, not just for the pastries, but also for the great service!“

Not too sweet, soft in consistency, great layering. If you get a custard cake, expect it to “drool?” since it’s mainly custard inside. Preferably finish it all at once. It was best fresh and almost just as enjoyable a day later; but I wouldn’t recommend storing it any longer.“
