“If you’re craving Latin American flavors while exploring American Dream Mall, Latin Grill offers a solid selection of build-your-own platters with classic entrées and sides.
This time, I went with the rotisserie 1/4 chicken (dark meat) with yellow rice and a Caesar salad. The standout for me was the Caesar dressing—surprisingly exceptional for a food court spot! The yellow rice was flavorful and well-cooked, and overall, these three choices worked well together.
The only downside? My chicken could have been cooked a bit longer—I noticed a little pink in some areas. It wasn’t a total dealbreaker, but definitely something to note.
While I enjoyed my meal, I’d probably explore other options next time just because this food court has so many choices. That said, if you’re in the mood for affordable Latin flavors with customizable combos, Latin Grill is worth checking out!“

“Gorgeous ambiance! They have lovely decor and you can tell that they had a great interior designer. Service was great. Our waitress Manuela was really nice and very knowledgeable about the menu and was kind enough to provide several suggestions. All staff were very professional and helpful. Drinks were very tasty, especially the “electríco!”. I loved the presentation. The chicharron tapas were the best chicharron I ever had—perfectly crispy, juicy and tender without being dry or too fatty. The garlic shrimp saffron tapa with the tostones were amazing—I’d come back just for that. As for the mains—the chicken was good, a little overpriced in my opinion, as it was regular chicken with no special marinade and was a little dry. I asked for my steak to be medium well but it was definitely under, and was red, chewy and a little tough with no seasoning. The saving grace was the delicious chimichurri sauce it came with and the yummy shisito peppers. Overall, I still recommend and plan to come back. Next time I plan on trying more tapas and possibly the whole fried fish entree! Check this place out.“

“After surfing through a few results that had mixed reviews, I landed on this spot in Williamsburg. Solid amount of stars and reviews (you can also tell a lot about a place that has a nice website, duh) intrigued me so I clicked through. Sorted through the photos of the food and they definitely had the steak I was looking for but I needed to confirm a few other things - do they require reservations? When are they serving dinner? Is this place a hole-in-the-wall (I don't mind holes-in-the-wall, just wasn't what I was looking that afternoon)? I double check their Yelp page and the site and I was glad to see that no reservations are required and dinner was starting at 5 - cocktails and empanadas were available until 5 came around. They have a nice dining room/bar area with a nice little dining area in the back, and also outdoors in the front. I wanted to be inside that day considering the high temps due to the humidity.
I finally get to the spot, and I say finally because I had to go back to 14th St Manhattan and connect from there to get to Williamsburg, 23 mins before they start to serve dinner. When I walked in I felt a very intimate yet lively latin vibe - it was dimly lit and there was good music being played at a comfortable volume. I don't like it when I'm dining out and the server and I have to compete over the music to hear each other so these guys definitely had it right. I would definitely bring a date here. I was greeted by the bartender and let him know I wanted to grab a solo seat for dinner. He asked if I had a reservation, which I thought was a little odd and led me to believe Yelp and the website wasn't up-to-date but when I replied no, he said it was no issue. He told me to grab a seat anywhere I liked so I sat at the bar and he advised me that they won't start serving dinner until 5 o'clock as I mentioned previously. After I got myself situated, I excused myself to the bathroom to wash up. I took note of the back dining area which was really nice. The bathroom was clean and it looks like they take care of it on the regular so those are more points in my book. I got back to my seat and the bartender pours me a glass of water and leaves a bottle at the table. I should've asked if they had sparkling and opted for that. The tap-water is just way too warm, but it was what it was. I didn't opt for any other drinks, considering I don't drink sodas or alcohol. Bartender handed me a menu which confused me for a bit because it seemed like it was drink menu - it was smaller than size than a normal menu. I'm browsing through and noticed at the bottom of the menu, besides their wifi network and password, they only take cash and American Express. Odd but maybe that's a NY restaurant thing? I double-checked that with the bartender and he said they have an ATM in the back in case I needed it. Turns out I had enough cash on hand and continue looking over the menu. I get to the entrees and I find the Churrasco and I let the bartender I wanted that medium. I should've asked him if they could throw an over-easy egg on top.
About 15-20 minutes later, one of the BEST steaks I ever had was served. The presentation was amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection - nice and tender and the color was just right. It came with a side of chimichurri which unlike other ones I've had, wasn't too salty. As you can see in the photo I took, the steak also came with a side of greens and these potatoes that were like no other, crispy on the outside and perfectly baked on the inside.
All-in-all I would definitely come back to Tabaré and I'm willing to bet everything else on their menu is just as out-of-this-world as this steak!“

“The food here is so delicious I wanted to shout and tell everyone from the top of a mountain. So here I am on Google. You must try the empanadas that comes with the best green sauce. I have very high standards for sweets and I loved everything I tried here. My favorite being the Alfajores. My husband and I had a lovely date night here. The entrees were a perfect combination of fine dining with a whole lot of soul. I want all the success for Libelula.“

Thank you for reaching out to us and ask us to reconsider the mistake. I'll visit you with my company crew. Keep the good work sir. We can always make a difference.“

It comes quite a bit and it was all warm. It came out for 2 people and quite a bit as you can see in the image. Unfortunately it cost me about $30 with shipping but it's worth it ?congratulations ?“

“This place is Latin fusion and the food is delicious. Took my co-workers for dinner and this place delivers with great Latin cuisine and service. The portion size pretty hefty along with the price (yet still moderately priced). The service is good and the atmosphere could use some updating. With such great tasting food, I think a simple upgrade on the layout, this could be a hit for the next top restaurant to visit. Again, great food, service and price, just the atmosphere could use some updating. Try this place if you’re looking for good tasting Latin cuisine.“

“We went there for the first time yesterday. Pros: The food was amazing. Loved every bite. I think the Colombian soup was my favorite but honestly everything was delicious. I am a picky eater and I ate everything. The drinks were simply divine. Hats off to the bartender. Just Wow! The server (Borjas) was equally exceptional. He only had 4 days on the job but executed like a pro. He was also funny and just kind. Just one con: The suited host that took a bit to greet us at the door was off. He also sat us at the very front of the restaurant. Mind you it was practically empty and never really filled up. I think that this was due to the holiday weekend. Anyway, he did not give us an option like another host did for a later couple. I also noted in my reservation that this was my fiancé's birthday and requested if anything special could be done. There was no choice of table and no candle in the cake. Usually how many other restaurants would have handled. Anyways, I will definitely go back due to the food, drinks and server but will hope for a better host.“

“A Delightful Evening at María Mulata
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at María Mulata, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Ashley, whose exceptional service made us feel right at home. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor truly set the tone for the evening.
We started with a bottle of wine, pleasantly surprised to find it cost less than what was listed on the menu—a delightful bonus! The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the rice, which was out of this world. Each bite was a burst of flavor, perfectly complementing our main dishes.
The ambiance of María Mulata is charming, with a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that captures the essence of Colombia. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment made our dinner truly special. We can’t wait to return and relive this fantastic experience!“

“We went on a Friday night. It was quiet. Seemed like mostly family dining. Definitely feels like a nice family owned, neighborhood restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the garlic shrimp appetizer and for our entrees we had the churrasco and fried pork chop. The chimichurri sauce that came with the steak was so good I could probably drink it! I thought the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. Will definitely be back!“

“The decor at this morsel of Costa Rican culture is aesthetically pleasing and if you’re in the area, this is one of the better Tico spots. We watched Costa Rica beat Paraguay in a Copa America game while eating pupusas, un Casado and Tacos Ticos and totally hit the spot. Especially since they served some salsa Lizano on the side.“

“Came for brunch. The hostess was welcoming and pleasant. The decor on the ground floor is cute; downstairs as well. Both floors have a bar, but downstairs is smaller. Justin is the bartender downstairs he was very nice and pleasant; as was our server, he was attentive. The dj was on point. There's no dj on the ground floor. Food came out cold. We had the tower on a pulsd, and it was ok. The rum punch was good, but a little too sweet and red sangria was good as well. The vibe was good, and I would recommend it.“

“The $12 daily lunch special is a fantastic deal! According to my waiter they are under new management as of last week. I was in town, visiting from Morris County to see the nearby Labor Museum. I loved the rice, chicken, and plantain most, they were delicious. Please be cautious however because there is a 15% tip automatically applied, and they do offer a lot of extras like drinks and stuff to see if you're interested. Nevertheless I really enjoyed the place. I think would make a good first date type restaurant, or out with the family, and I felt comforrable eating alone at the bar. Although it was empty when I came on a Saturday afternoon.
Kid-friendliness: If I recall correctly, there was a kids' part of the menu.“

“AMAZING FOOD!! Never had any complaints about the food it’s genuinely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever had !!! So yummy, perfectly seasoned and cooked . “This place is deceptively bigger than expected. Decorated nicely with a good amount of simplicity. For eight of us, we got the Peruvian combo and full Jalea platter. It definitely fed all of us with some left over. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit dry and under seasoned and there wasn't any fish with the Jalea platter. Our server was a bit pushy on getting more pitchers of sangria and tried several times to clear the table while we were still eating (a friend may have snapped a little bit to the server that we're not done after the fourth attempt of clearing the table).“

We had the Tuesday Lunch special - oxtail and two sides yellow rice and sweet plantains. My friend had the oxtail with white rice and Yuca fries. The food was very good. Portion was decent. I would consider coming back again. Price was also decent. Thank you for a good meal.“
