“I had the honor privilege and luck of being the very first customer to be served at Kanpachi Sushi during their grand opening on 4/29/2022. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there. I am making this my go to spot for lunch or dinner, I give Kanpachi 5 stars. Thank you for picking Amboy Ave to open your sushi house.”

Wow! Firstly, very lovely first impression walking in and being seated. I am a big fan of the robin-egg colored tableware and the Miniso Dundun chicken timers lol. The place felt very clean and fresh, upon arriving.

Food:
The broth was extremely rich and flavorful! Genuinely tasted like it was prepared for a long time (10 hours) just like they advertise! It tasted very savory and it pairs well with the chicken and the other sides! The fish maw white fungus, chinese yam, pumpkin, and hand pulled noodles were all very fresh and high quality. I personally loved how chewy the noodles were after cooking it!

Our order was 2 servings it felt like a reasonable price. Definitely satisfied with the portion size given that we felt pretty full afterwards.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.”

While I was trying to purchase my items, my anxiety and PTSD kicked in for some reason and I just started to get emotional and cried a bit. Some staff members in the sandwich section , saw me crying after i explained why i thought it was occurinh and they came out of their stations to just give me a hug! They did not have to do that

“I visited McDonald’s at 1966 NJ-27 in Edison yesterday, and I had a really good experience. It’s been a long time since a McDonald’s employee actually took the time to carefully modify my order the way I requested.

I asked for the burger to be made without meat, and the staff member handled it professionally and without any hesitation. The sandwich was made properly and tasted great. I truly appreciated the effort and attention to detail.

Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. “This past Saturday, 5.21.22, my family and I ventured out to Cucina Mandreucci, for the first time since covid, for my niece's college graduation celebratory dinner. We have been here before for other special family occasions, as well as for everyday family dinners. No matter whether you are a party of 20 or an intimate party of two, Cucina Mandreucci will treat you like family. They handled our rowdy bunch with ease. Jill, our server, and our busser (I apologize, but I forget his name) treated us like family. They remembered us from our last large family gathering three years ago, as well as from the last time I was there with my fiance and our four children. They remembered where we sat and what we ate; simply put, they (but especially Jill) made us feel at home, and welcomed us back with open arms. As if that were not enough, the food was, once again, outstanding! I am a picky eater, and that puts it mildly. Jill was ready for my crazy requests and substitutions. She, and the kitchen, handled it all like pros. As if our large, rambunctious party were not enough to handle, we actually forgot a to-go meal for a family member who was unable to attend; we put that request in as we were paying the bill. Not four minutes later did that food come out of the kitchen ready to go. When I tell you this place has their stuff together, that is the truth. The piña colada is my favorite, the churros are delicious, and the tacos with mango are a must try. Even though the place is always packed, they’re always fast, and that says a lot you can tell everything is made fresh. The customer service is excellent, and Joanna is wonderful. She always makes sure my family and I feel satisfied every time we go. Taco Empreso, truly the best.”

“Wow wow wow this place is so Chinese

Upon walking in the laoban talked to us for like 10 mins about how the pork was specialized from a facility in Maryland to get the same taste as Chinese pork by bloodletting

Anyways the sesame noodles were really great and the meat was good wonderfully flavored

The weird soup with pork balls was great too and kinda tasted like Chinese pork but maybe it was placebo

Bao buns might have been frozen but good

Fish balls we’re meh but maybe it’s just because I don’t like yuwan that much

But most of all the Chinese laoban felt like a very homely grandpa and even gave us boiled water lol

Overall very nice and decently priced very happy

“Food is amazing at a affordable price! $20 you can upgrade to the premium meat menu which is Long Bone Short Rib Steak, Premium Wagyi and Rib Eye steak. It also includes the rest of the meat menu. Its all perfectly marinated and fresh. The waitress was very polite and recommended some really good appetizers off the menu, the bulgogi fries were really good. Atmosphere was very chill and made you feel like I was at a restaurant back in AK Plaza. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a BBQ Spot.”

“This is easily the best Korean restaurant in the area. The food is authentic and all the banchan were delicious. We enjoyed our meal so much that we even ordered extra Galbi to take home! They do seem to be short staffed, so the service can be a bit slow and chaotic at times. However, I felt more sympathetic toward the hardworking staff than upset by the wait. Definitely worth a visit!”

We originally arrived at 9:50 PM because the posted hours said they were open until 11 PM, but were told they had already stopped serving due to closing early for the rain. While we understood, it would have been helpful if the hours were updated or a notice was posted to avoid the confusion.

That said, we came back another time and had a great experience. The meal and service were excellent, the food was delicious, and everything was well worth it. We’ll definitely be coming back again!”

“I came here to sing karaoke with friends, and the prices are reasonable. Rooms are $45, $55, or $65 per hour. Even the smallest room can accommodate six or seven people.
The food selection and prices are also quite affordable. This was my first time here, and the service was excellent. I will definitely come back again.”
