The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there. I am making this my go to spot for lunch or dinner, I give Kanpachi 5 stars. Thank you for picking Amboy Ave to open your sushi house.”

“Finally got to try this place and ordered Wonton and brisket noodle soup. It’s great as expected and would definitely go again just for that. However, I also tried the crispy fried fish skins and I don’t know if I got a bad batch, but they tasted like plastic/chemical. It’s the only reason I didn’t give it a 5. I’d hesitate ordering it again in the future, although many reviewers love it. That’s why I think maybe I got a bad batch.”

“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.
I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.
While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.”

We recently had the pleasure of using Spice House on Rt 27 in Edison, NJ for our event catering, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were thoroughly impressed by the overall quality of the food and the unparalleled level of service provided.
The variety of offerings were exceptional which included both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian options, ensuring all our guests were catered for. We also included few Indo Chinese varieties. Every dish was truly good and tasty. They did not cut corners, delivering excellent quality and quantity across the board.
The dedication to service extended to the delivery process as well. The food arrived in hot container pack, and it remained perfectly warm right up to the moment we were ready to serve, which made a huge difference to our event.
The staff's professionalism and helpfulness were top-notch. A special kudos must go to Ashish, who was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu and assisting with the selection of items and appropriate quantities.
Our sincerest hat is off to Mr. Surya for running such a wonderful restaurant and operation. We wish him and his entire team all the very best and highly recommend their catering services.”

While I was trying to purchase my items, my anxiety and PTSD kicked in for some reason and I just started to get emotional and cried a bit. Some staff members in the sandwich section , saw me crying after i explained why i thought it was occurinh and they came out of their stations to just give me a hug! They did not have to do that

Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. Stopped by Applebee’s the other night expecting a regular chain-restaurant situation, but honestly? The real MVP was the server — I think her name was Stephanie. If it wasn’t, someone in there is definitely giving off strong Stephanie energy, because she crushed it.
She was quick, on top of everything, and actually seemed to care. Drinks stayed full, food came out hot, and she handled the whole table like a pro. No attitude, no disappearing act, none of that “I’ll be right back” then vanishing into a black hole. Just solid, reliable service that made the whole meal smoother.
Food was classic Applebee’s: good, predictable, hits the spot when you’re hungry. But the service? That’s what made it feel like a better experience than it probably should’ve been.
Bottom line: 4.5/5 — shoutout to maybe-Stephanie for carrying the night. If that wasn’t her name, someone please give the right girl some credit.”

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!
I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋”

“Happy Lamb is always one of my go-to hotpot places when I’m in Edison. The service is usually fast and the staff has always been helpful and pleasant. If you happen to come by one a busy night there can be a long wait time, this is normal for any restaurant and despite the wait time, once you’re seated things move fast and food is brought out in an appropriate amount of time. My only point of criticism would be that if your table orders too many plates of sliced meat at once you may not receive some of the orders. Not a big deal as you can always order more at no additional cost as it’s AYCE.”

Another order is the steamed Halibut which was also wonderful to the taste buds. The service from the kind lady was wonderful and fast paced. We didn’t have to wait long for the orders to come. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the plaza and the first door. The parking is hard around that area but I went on thanksgiving day so it wasn’t so busy. My favorite part is the restaurant is dog friendly !!!! I cannot wait to try other items on the menu and bring my pup. This place is a must try with so much variety off their menu.”

Jill, our server, and our busser (I apologize, but I forget his name) treated us like family. They remembered us from our last large family gathering three years ago, as well as from the last time I was there with my fiance and our four children. They remembered where we sat and what we ate; simply put, they (but especially Jill) made us feel at home, and welcomed us back with open arms. As if that were not enough, the food was, once again, outstanding! I am a picky eater, and that puts it mildly. Jill was ready for my crazy requests and substitutions. She, and the kitchen, handled it all like pros. As if our large, rambunctious party were not enough to handle, we actually forgot a to-go meal for a family member who was unable to attend; we put that request in as we were paying the bill. Not four minutes later did that food come out of the kitchen ready to go. When I tell you this place has their stuff together, that is the truth. This is my favorite restaurant in Middlesex County for sure, and of course we'll be returning!”

“I went with my family in a good mood for Mother's Day and my birthday. We went with 5 adults and 2 children. We came to $300 for our food, and my sister and I tipped twice, for a total of $100. After eating, I left the card on the table after paying. I found out after I got home, so I called right away and confirmed the card was there. Since then, money has been withdrawn from my account several times. I couldn't use the card. However, I was surprised by the amount of over $100 doordash payment, so I stopped the card in the evening. And I called the restaurant. But the boss never said he was sorry to me. We said we didn't use it and that we could report it. I am so embarrassed and angry. It's my fault for leaving the card behind, but it's a big fault for the person who stole and used the guest card. I want to tell you to be careful about what happened here. I don't want to go any longer to be safe in a place like this. And you won't be able to go. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there. I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.
While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.”

“I've been waiting for Heytea to open up in this location, and it did not disappoint! The place always clean and smells of jasmine, so it's perfect for hanging out with friends or just grabbing something refreshing on the go.
Their fruit drinks and matcha drinks are amazing. The Mango Grapefruit Boom is my absolute favorite. It’s super refreshing with real fruit pieces, the perfect balance of sweet mango and tangy grapefruit.

“This evening I was dining in at another Taco Bell location when I decided to use one of my rewards on the app to order the cinnamon twists. However, I accidentally ordered it for the Taco Bell on Woodbridge Ave in Edison. The other Taco Bell that I was at was not too far away, but would have been going the opposite direction of my house. I asked the cashier if that order could somehow be canceled or if I could get the reward back. She said no because it was sent to a different location. She suggested I call the Woodbridge Ave Taco Bell to see if they can cancel the order. I called over to the Woodbridge Ave location and spoke with Rosa. She was unable to cancel the order for me as it was already prepped, but said that if I was able to stick around the other Taco Bell for a little bit, she would swing by with the cinnamon twists. I told her not to worry about it as it was my mistake, but she said it would not be a problem as it was actually on her way home and she didn't want me to lose out on my reward. So I agreed. When we met up shortly after, I tried to tip her for going above and beyond, but she refused to take it. Rosa's kindness and generosity was so sweet, and she really brightened what had just been a long, exhausting day :)
One more thing... a couple months ago I ordered from the Woodbridge Ave location on the mobile app and my order got messed up. Not drastically, but still, not what I paid for. However, the manager fixed the mistake and even gave me a coupon for a free taco!
Workers are people too, and sometimes they make mistakes. It is how they handle those mistakes that can often make or break an establishment. Whether the mistake was my own, like in tonight's situation, or the establishment's, I felt that both times the customer service was excellent. I was super grateful for both of the people I interacted with, and for their willingness to go above and beyond.”
“Great food here! I had to drive 40 minutes to get here, but the food makes it worth it! The service is great, the fish is excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly. The restroom is clean, but the only problem is the opening hour is a bit late. Overall, great experience. Would definitely come back again. Possibly the best fish soup in NJ.”
