The fish soup broth was not enough, it's kinda hard to scoop off the soup to your bowl, they offered if you want more broth, but then less flavorful after they add with just the base broth without seasoning.
Garlic shrimp was the highlight of the dinner.

“I ordered the Sweet and Sour Squirrel Bass and Shanghai Smoked Fish. The smoked fish tasted so authentic — just like what I had in Suzhou! Perfectly marinated, flavorful, and not greasy at all. The squirrel bass was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and cooked to perfection. The fish is freshly prepared — they literally have a tank right by the entrance, so you know it’s super fresh!“

“Great food here! I had to drive 40 minutes to get here, but the food makes it worth it! The service is great, the fish is excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly. The restroom is clean, but the only problem is the opening hour is a bit late. Overall, great experience. Would definitely come back again. Possibly the best fish soup in NJ.“

“Rich and flavorful broth! Great sides!

Wow! Firstly, very lovely first impression walking in and being seated. I am a big fan of the robin-egg colored tableware and the Miniso Dundun chicken timers lol. The place felt very clean and fresh, upon arriving.

Food:
The broth was extremely rich and flavorful! Genuinely tasted like it was prepared for a long time (10 hours) just like they advertise! It tasted very savory and it pairs well with the chicken and the other sides! The fish maw white fungus, chinese yam, pumpkin, and hand pulled noodles were all very fresh and high quality. I personally loved how chewy the noodles were after cooking it!

Our order was 2 servings it felt like a reasonable price. Definitely satisfied with the portion size given that we felt pretty full afterwards.

“This place is a 10 out of 10. Every time I go the food is consistently great. The service is excellent and they make you feel special when you let them know the reason you are celebrating.

I aways get the Filet Mignon - perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes are amazing! They have the best mashed potatoes I've ever had.“

“Randomly found this place after food shopping one night and its officially our fav spot ! They open late til 1230am ! Jay and his staff members are very welcoming and friendly. Told us their special dishes and what to come back to try next time! We got their green peppercorn broth with snakehead fish recommended by Jay and boy it hit the spot! U can add on toppings and it comes with rice! We enjoyed it so much we are already planning our next late night visit and plan to take the fam here!“

“I think I found my favorite Asian seafood spot in the area. I am absolutely in love with their crab roe specialty ! You have the choice of with white rice or noodles. I chose rice with the crab roe and later one decided to get an order to go with the noodles. The crab roe is to die for ! So much flavorful and deliciousness. Another order is the steamed Halibut which was also wonderful to the taste buds. The service from the kind lady was wonderful and fast paced. We didn’t have to wait long for the orders to come. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the plaza and the first door. The parking is hard around that area but I went on thanksgiving day so it wasn’t so busy. My favorite part is the restaurant is dog friendly !!!! I cannot wait to try other items on the menu and bring my pup. This place is a must try with so much variety off their menu.“

“We stumbled upon this restaurant, We love the dimsum! Absolutely delicious no need to go to chinatown in nyc, the beef fried rice is also really yummy. The servers were very attentive and very nice. “For people who are going to try the deadlift soup for the first time, I recommend ordering the seviche separately, because the lemon is strong and overpowers the flavor of the seafood. And the easy tasty marine dish for three people, make sure to bring a bottle of wine, nice place, a hidden gem.“

“We are originally from Calcutta and we wanted to try this place. We were not disappointed. It’s a take out only place. The taste is not exactly like Kolkata’s Tangra Chinese but it’s really good! We ordered lunch special Chilly Chicken and Chicken Manchurian and loved the taste. Will be back soon.“

“It was one of those days that I was craving for Dimsum and a friend recommended this place for the family. It was a drive to get there but it was worth it. It didn’t disappoint! We did enjoy all the food we ordered. We made the kids try chicken feet too and actually enjoyed it! Definitely will be coming back. Love the wide open space, huge tables, the food served quick, the price is affordable. If you travel around Edison, New Jersey, this is one place you can go to. Enjoy!“
