“I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at this restaurant. The ambiance was nice and comfortable and the food was very delicious. I had the fried dumpling, calamari, salmon salad and a pina colada which were all very delicious. I also had the chocolate fried ice cream because they were out of the vanilla flavor and that was tasty. I felt that the portion size of the salad and fried ice cream was a bit small but they were both delicious. The service/hospitality was great as well. Our waitress kept checking in with our table and answered all of our questions regarding the menu.“

“I heard that Tonchin is difficult to get walk-ins for, so I was really excited to get a reservation here. There was a long line of walk-ins when we arrived for our 12pm reservation. The restaurant has a cool modern vibe and good service. Overall there were some things I liked, but nothing was particularly memorable.The kimchi mushroom ($8) was meh and not worth the cost. It was very small, cold, and sour -- just hard strips of oyster mushroom in a chili oil/vinegar flavor. I didn't taste the kimchi flavor.The original maguro ($27) was very good. Lots of great flavors and textures, and everything was cut to the same size. I enjoyed the crunchy bits.The tebasaki ($18 for 6 pieces) had quite big and tender wings. The drumettes had more flavor and sauciness. This wasn't a must-get, but it was decent.The smoked dashi ramen ($22) definitely lived up to its name. It was a rich but not overly heavy pork broth with smoked dashi liquid on top. It was good but not amazing. I didn't love that the bamboo was in a big chunk, which made it hard to eat. The noodles are nothing special. I felt similarly about the tonkotsu ramen.I got the aka drink ($18) which was pretty good -- very floral and good sweetness. It wasn't that big, though -- it had a giant ice block in it.Overall the restaurant has a nice vibe and the food is quick to come out, but nothing would make me come back. The maguro was definitely the highlight.“

“3.8/5 stars My first time visited Kame on Saturday it was a bit busy so we had to wait in the line but only for 10-15 mins. I had Spicy Tonkotsu ramen(19$) the braised pork belly was super soft but the broth is just ok in my opinion the black garlic oil is too strong that I couldn't even drink the soup but I did like the noodles tho. I added onsen egg for (2$) and it was just ok to me because I think marinated boiled eggs would be better with the ramen. Noodles 3.7/5 Pork belly 4.5/5 Creamy broth 2.8/5 Onsen egg 3/5 Drink Plum lemonade 4.5/5 The food was good but this is just my personal taste buds. If I'm in the area I might come back but I wouldn't go out just to go there. P.S The ramen came with 2pcs of chashu but I ordered extra that's why it looks like it's a lot in my bowl“

I would go back right now if I could!Kid-friendliness: Children are accepted and have plates and glasses suitable for their little hands. They also have toothpick adapters so they can take their first steps with them.“

“Mmm, so good. We were staying at the nearby Park Central Hotel and looking for a decent restaurant within a quick walk. This one cropped up with good reviews, so we figured we'd try it. Best meal of our week-long NYC trip! I got the Curry Ramen, which was fantastic, with perfectly crispy pork katsu and nicely springy ramen noodles. My wife and daughter also enjoyed their selections. I think one was the Kin Ramen (which I also got to finish, since it was too big for my daughter -- the chashu pork was excellent!The place has a hip and cozy atmosphere. If you set the spiciness level to level 8, it's about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, but eating bone broth with spicy seasoning and rice felt like eating sundae soup haha.It's expensive, but it's worth a visit at least once during your trip.“

“Searched the web looking for oyster and came across this place! I came as a solo during happy hour & sat at the bar … oysters were 1.75$ , clean, fresh and yummyDrink was pretty pricey (17$) but definitely worth the try, the aroma and craft of the drink was appreciated. I had “the smoke”.Also tried the shrimp bun , soooo soft it almost melted in my mouth ! Food was AMAZING! I would visit again!“

“Tiny cozy place for ramen. Had full ramen bar and maybe 4-5 tables. They serve asahi on tap and offer chu-hi. Ramen broth was mostly chicken based but had a high content of garlicky and salt flavor. You can choose thin or wavy noodles. I would say save yourself from gyoza. I found them crispy but lacking flavor and juiciness when you take that first bite. Over all satisfying and around 20 bucks a bowl.“

Before you enter, you'll find yourself staring at the wooden, cozy storefront that screams "comfort food". To start off, we had the kara-age and takoyaki which were good with a drizzle of lemon. However, the main star was my kara miso ramen with pork, which had a hearty miso soup base with a dab of spice sauce. There are also non-pork options such as the seafood yaki bowl, which my friend had. Despite the full house on a friday evening, the service was great and very attentive. Setting: Centered near the Hudson Yards Shops and the Vessel, Suram features a dimly lit ambiance with tones of black, silver, and gold. ‍Service: Kind waitstaff and the food came out at an expected pace for a sushi/ramen spot. “If your looking for a authentic and cute atmosphere go to shinjuku ramen it has exceptional food. The staff is welcoming and professional.For starters the gyoza was yummy, perfectly prepared but the mains were exceptional, the shoyu king ramen was the best ramen we ever had and the eel and rice dish was also really good in flavor and the eel was done perfectly also the miso king ramen was very flavorful ,the miso flavor was exquisite . If your looking for a delicious place to eat around 60th and 5th you should definitely go to shinjuku ramen.Beware ,other ramens will be inferior after you have theirs.“

“My partner and I have been coming to Susuru, more or less once a week, for about a year now. It’s « our spot » we love it. We get the same order every time, miso ramen and spicy tuna poke. To top it off, the lemonade was quite sour but tasted okay if you sipped a little at a time.INSIDE:It was very clean, no dirt at all and the tables and chairs were cleaned up. There were also cool things on the wall and a clean bathroom (that had funny jokes inside)OVERALL:Although it had some high prices, I really enjoyed this place, either if you never had Japanese food or if you did, this will be a nice idea for yourself and maybe even others. “Listen flushing is a huge place but amazing food options are not, this place is a Gem. When i saw the set up it reminded me of a place i went to in Japan sitting around the bar killing a bowl of miso ramen ( that i need to try next) and they have amazing small bites if your on the go like me.
