“What an incredible experience! I went there last night on 57th Street for Christmas Eve. 5 star customer service thanks to The Rock & staff, delicious lamb chops, tuna tartare and Pinot Noir. “I’m not a review leaver, but genuinely my experience here was top notch. My mom and I were celebrating a joint birthday dinner and trip, and the staff was super attentive, kind, and open with recommendations for us. The even brought out sparklers and sang to us, which was so beautifully over the top but still clearly from the heart. I can’t remember her name for the life of me, but our beautiful kind and perfect server will literally hold a place in my soul forever.

The steak, potato puree, and onion soup were highlights for me, as well as the chocolate tarte. I would absolutely recommend Steak Frites to anyone.“

“Absolutely delicious. I had the filet mignon and it had this seared slightly salty outside that was just a little crisp and the flavor was to die for. I brought friends back with me the second time and they didn’t fail to impress them as well. Everyone enjoyed the steak and the cheesecake is perfection! “I like the 22nd street location better. The steak wasn’t as good nor do they give you the same amount. Bartender at the bar served us open bottle beer which was warm on top of it. But the dining room service was exceptional. I like the atmosphere and ambience of this place more but I care about food so I won’t be coming back here unfortunately but will dine at the flatiron location for sure.“

The food was excellent starting with great appetizers (sweetbreads, salads, empanadas) and the mixed grill was outstanding. Blood sausages were particularly good. Fun experience all around.“

“Excellent is an understatement! We had an amazing experience at Empire Steakhouse. Armin was an exceptional server: attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.

We ordered the Porterhouse Steak for Two, and it was absolutely incredible. Perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the dinner. We also started with the grilled octopus, which was an excellent appetizer and a great way to begin the meal.

From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. Armin truly made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend Empire Steakhouse, and we will definitely be back!“

“Delicious! Hubby and I celebrated our 13th anniversary here after seeing a Stranger Things matinee. Everything is exceptional - from the vibe to the presentation to the food to the service. I had the second level of dirty martini - it was perfect. We shared all the recommended dishes and were not disappointed. The wagyu cheesesteak bites were incredible - best part of the night. Short rib croquettes were phenomenal. Mac and cheese was delicious, although a little more watery than i prefer. My husband had the wagyu burger which he loved. We shared the crispy rice tuna bites - those were the only thing I didn’t absolutely love and i think it’s just a personal taste preference. They gave us the best seat in the house, complimentary champagne and absolutely delicious chocolate cookies for dessert. I’m recommending this restaurant to everyone for any pre-or-post-theatre dining - they have a price fixe menu for the 4-6pm crowd that i plan to try next time. PERFECT EXPERIENCE.“

“This place is authentic Brazilian rodizio with great meat selection insane salad bar with seafood and salad and Fejoada .we loved it excellent staff and the owners are hands on we dined on Friday and it was very busy but drinks came right away tasty caipirinia .We loved espresso martinis and my friend ordered chocolate martini yummm .Highly recommending .we took our time and we werent chased away from table .Very accommodating staff .Thank You and good luck“

“An unplanned dinner, out of curiosity for 2 when we happened to park right in front of Wolfgang Steakhouse. This was after my dental appointment across the street.
We walked in past 6 pm and were accommodated right away.
Onion bread was served with chunks of butter. 3/5. I always prefer a warm bread.
We ordered a dozen of fresh Bluepoint oysters, with a mid-brininess taste. The flesh was glistening, plump but the saltiness is in-between. 3.5/5.
I always look forward to the oysters in Norfolk, Virginia, right at the back of my friend's summer house. Its thick, high salinity flesh would let you slurp non-stop until your gastronomic craving is fulfilled.
We shared a Caesar's salad. The lettuce was fresh with grated parmesan cheese and a few pieces of croutons. The sauce is always the star in a salad. Their sauce was light, simple and less creamy. 3/5
For me, a little more acid, touch of saltiness from anchovies and the right portion of Worcestershire, mayo and Dijon would perk up the depth of flavor.
Then came the star of the dinner. We had a porterhouse for 2. It was a big sliced portion served on a hot metal plate with the meat sauce and butter. The meat was so tender. and rightly cooked, medium rare as ordered and not salty, which I like. I miss having a rosemary on top. We didn't finish only about 3 pcs. each though we both like it. 4.5/5
We have to have a space meeting some friends at about 9 pm.
This was paired with the big onion rings, which were crunchy with a thin batter. 5/5
We preferred a lava cake but it wasn't available. So we had pistachio tartufo instead. It was covered with a tinge of truffled chocolate with a whipped cream in the middle. The sweetness was just enough but the cream in the middle was so gross that made the 4 slices of tartufo so small. Lessen the cream to make the tartufo stand out. 4/5
No wine at this time as we still have to meet some friends at 9 pm for a drink. Settled for a bottle of a sparkling water instead.

The steak was $75 per person. The tables were near to each other that you could hear about their talks. Some customers talked so loud to a waiter that you could hear their voices even about 4-5 tables apart. Maybe due to a low but a nice well-designed arched ceiling by a famous Spanish architect.
The waiters were nice and the service was prompt.
Overall, it was worth a try. Will try their other branch/steaks next time.“

“Omg absolute perfection!! My husband made reservations and told them it was our anniversary and they went all out. I had the filet with macaroni and cheese and who would have thought that was the best part. They did a champagne toast, had a “happy anniversary” card on the table and a candle in the cheesecake which was incredible. Our waiters worked as a team and made everything unforgettable. We are from Mississippi and my husband ask me what was my favorite part about our trip and I’m like “Strip House!”“

“The shrimp cocktail is a delight as is the filet mignon and their basket of rolls. I would skip dessert though, especially the chocolate mousse and the key lime pie. Subpar to say the least. Better to share a dessert with someone if you decide you must order a dessert. If it's bad, just send it back. With the prices they charge, diners should get some type of dessert on the House.“
