“A hit for a fast casual meal!

Even though we stepped in midday, there was still a decent selection of bagels in the display case. I ordered the Santa Fe egg white sandwiches, which came on one of their aptly named 'Asiago thintastic' bagels. When toasted, it was crackly on the outside with a distinct aged cheese flavor. It supposedly comes with roasted tomato salsa and spicy jalapeño salsa cream cheese; I don't know if I saw those distinct additions, but there was a zingy schmear of something that tasted like pimiento cheese that added incredible flavor. They were also perfectly amenable to my request to swap out the turkey sausage with a standard sausage patty.

My husband opted for their healthier options. The Avocado Egg white sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and a fold of egg whites, was also delicious. Our order only took minutes, but everything was hot and fresh and I especially loved how melty the cheese in our sandwiches got.

The name suggests they specialize in bagels and breakfast sandwiches, but there's a fair spread of hot sandwiches on the menu as well. There's plenty of seating inside this cavernous dining room, with both counters and tall stools by the windows or two- and four-top tables throughout. Bathrooms are also available at the very rear of the restaurant. In a strange and somewhat ironic twist, pets aren't allowed inside, but they sell dog treats (beef-based and adorably shaped into bagel shapes) by the counter.“

“I love these bagels! They are SO good! I’m a bagel snob (nj born and raised) and Grand Bagel passes the test. It’s worth the trip. Very nice owners and employees. Very Clean Cafe and quick service. They also deliver if you live close by.“

“I just have to give a shout out to spring bagels this morning at 5:45 am I was able to order and everything bagel. Outcome a steaming hot fresh bagel right from the oven. There aren’t that many places open between five and six that are making fresh hot food so early in the morning! The bagel was absolutely delicious!“

“The SMB absolutely blew me away. I thought it was a perfect balance of salty, sweet, light kick of spice. The beef was season so perfectly and was soft and tender. The egg was super fluffy and I really enjoyed the kimchi to add another flavor profile. The bagel itself was also delicious - light crunch on the outside but soft and chewy inside. Perfect texture and honestly it was such great value for a huge bagel. The owner gave out free rice balls because the wait was getting long and those were delicious too.“

“A true “holy grail” of bagel shops. Their menu is the perfect balance of the classic NYC bagels we know and love, but with some newer flavor combos added to the menu that make eating here both nostalgic and exciting. The Presto Pesto is one of my favorite sandwiches in the city. Make sure you try their chocolate muffins as well. While it can get busy, the staff are friendly and attentive.“

“I just couldn’t understand how a simple bagel could be this heavenly delicious??? Had to visit Apollo Bagel at least one time every time im here in NY. Tried the flavors and my personal fav is the tomato cream cheese with everything bagel!! Don’t be fooled by its simpleness, as the bagel itself, the crispness, the salt flake, the tomato, the cream cheese, the seasoning..everything is just absolutely wonderfully made! But what stood out to me the most is its crispness. ✨🤌🏻 Idk what they did to make it that crispy and crunchy but OMG if this is not heaven, idk what is. I’ll be missing Apollo when I get back and looking forward to my next visit!!“

“Broadway Bagel is good for a lot of things but it's better to tell you what its not good for because it's smaller. their pastrami, very chewy & fatty. I got a wrap & was horrible because I was fighting with the pastrami to bite off a piece & then getting fat in your mouth is disgusting. At times when I get a breakfast sandwich with bacon it's like that's when they choose to hide fatty bacon instead of giving you well cooked bacon. How does an establishment do that to their customers? The tuna wrap w/ French fries, I usually order but now they're adding lettuce when before it was onions & avocado now they're putting celery & adding lettuce. why did they mess with such a great sandwich? Certain staff I work with like their blueberry pancakes, homefries, BLT. But like I said too many times I bought a BLT & it was filled with a lot of fatty bacon. I look at my food before I eat it. They used to have different flavors of OJ, Mango/Pineapple, Strawberry/Banana/Orange, but now all they have is regular OJ. They're changing how they made stuff and they changed the working crew so all I can say is I mostly get breakfast. It's hit & Miss for a lot of things because I like my food the way anyone having a business should make the food for their customers; with love & as best as possible.“

“Definately my favourite bagel place in the neighborhood. I tried both take out and dine in. The quality of the food is great, tons of cream cheese options! the restaurant has a few tables, they are quite small. It gets BUSY quickly, so finding a spot in rush hours isn't always easy. I've seen the line wrapping around the corner but they are also very fast.
They have another location as well in UWS, and I once placed my order for pickup in the wrong location and they managed it internally and still gave me my lunch. Absolutely love this place.“
