“Very chill family owned and operated North Jersey tavern and steakhouse. It's cash-only, but there is an ATM up front near the bar. The burgers and steaks are the main attraction, but there are plenty of seafood and poultry options that are delicious. They have a full bar with beer, wine, and cocktail specials (and a good variety of each). Service is friendly and your meal will likely be cooked and/or served by the the owning family.“

“I walked into this small cafe without even thinking they had such a great variety of food… I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!!!!! The pizza is fantastic, thin airy crispy crust … so delicious!!!

I ordered the drunken parm sandwich and it was made fresh, the breaded chicken was made right then not cold and frozen like other places.. they put the perfect amount of cheese and sauce .. it was crispy and not messy. The hero bread was delicious too! I cannot rave enough about this place!

I read a lot of bad reviews about this Applebee’s location, but I must say our experience was excellent! Despite being a large group, everything was amazing. Our waitress, Freddy, did an outstanding job — he double-checked our order, constantly made sure we had what we needed, and provided great service with a positive attitude the entire time. The manager was also very helpful and attentive.

I noticed all the staff working hard and providing great service, which made the atmosphere even better. Kudos to the manager and especially to Freddy for making our visit so enjoyable. I hope everyone who comes here has the same great experience. Thank you for the excellent service!“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“What a treat to stumble upon Parker & Quinn! It was an intimate atmosphere and a perfect night for me and my 10-year-old daughter. The kids’ menu was so good (the pasta was homemade and so delicious that I had to enjoy a few bites!), and my margarita flatbread was incredible. Great service from our server and another gentleman (the manager?) who came over multiple times to check on us. “We ordered the cheeseburger without onion and without pickles and the burger arrived with some sort of relish on it, which left a nasty after taste, which the server informed us that he had specified that he notated the request to not have onions or pickles on the burger, but we were not able to get another burger remade since we were in a hurry to catch our flight. It left a very bad after taste and that was truly disappointing because it was one of those “New York” experiences that we were looking forward to that now has been clouded.“

“I had a really great experience here. The space is beautiful and calm, with a warm, elegant vibe that instantly makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. It feels upscale but not intimidating, which I appreciated a lot.
The food was solid across the board. The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy with a nice char and simple seasoning that let the quality of the meat shine. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp with generous parmesan and crunchy croutons. The oysters were clean and briny, super fresh, and the shrimp cocktail was chilled perfectly with a classic, flavorful sauce.
Service was attentive without hovering. Everything came out at a relaxed pace, which matched the atmosphere really well. This is the kind of place that works great for a date night, a quiet dinner with friends, or even a special occasion when you want something classy but comfortable.

On our first night we drove to Hamilton Park to take in views of the skyline, and then were looking for a place to eat with our two nieces. We found Fork Hill Kitchen and are so glad we did. We did not have reservations, but arriving around 5:30, they were able to accommodate our party of 4 and seat us right away. The food, drinks, ambiance, and service were all top notch. The gentleman that showed us to our seat was charming and when he found out we were in from out of town, he chatted with us for a bit, and made us feel so welcome. We each got a different dessert and everyone raved about theirs. Just a really lovely, cozy, welcoming place, with delicious food. Thanks for a great first night of our magical December NYC trip!“
