“I came here the Friday before St. Patrick's day and was not disappointed. They had live music on a small stage with a large crowd singing along to Irish folk tunes. The atmosphere was lively and reminded me a lot of Dublin pubs. The service was a bit slow, as there were too many patrons and too few bartenders. If they could improve that ratio, this place would be a fantastic place.“

“We hosted an event for 30 people here. The staff was attentive, and accommodating. They sat us at the back so that we could talk. The food was incredible!! Sometimes catering can be dry meat and wilted salad, not at Joyce. The beef was tender and juicy (didn’t touch my knife), the salmon was cooked to perfection. The pasta was perfectly cooked and delicious and so was the beautiful, colorful salad. Mario the manager stays calm under pressure and does everything he can to make your experience a great one. “We had a wonderful dining experience here this past Saturday evening. The atmosphere of this old Irish sports pub was lively and friendly, without being overwhelming. We sat at one of the many tables surrounding the bar. The service was prompt and friendly. The beer and wine were great and the burgers, fries, salad, and salmon were delicious and the portions very generous. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering its location a block and a half south of Central Park. We were just tourists but would come back often if we lived here.“

“Had the paper plane cocktail and the crispy fish tacos. Pretty standard, but I have a bias for fish tacos, so standard fish tacos are 4 ⭐ by default in my book. Minor knock is that the slaw, mayo, and relish together were a little strong and kind of overwhelmed the fish. Why is it so dark? I get it, but I also don't get it ? low light has its merits, but this was super dark ? (the camera make the photos/videos look brighter than the lighting in reality)“

“What a wonderful place. It just happens to be an Irish bar, though that part is not the main sellling point. If you are not doing anything today or tonight, please, please, please go. OK, we know about prices. 8 Bottle Beers, 4 shots ( and yes 2 were telly) French onion soup, Fish & chips (no bread, that's a positive) and nacho with the malt vinegar. Grand total $109 == Bargain. The food was great!, The Nacho's were a meal servered the good way, hard nachos loaded with meat, cheese and Guac (wont' even attempt to spell that word). I don't know how Dave the owner pulls this off. Excellent business owner and personable. I think has all all 3 things going on when you spend money. Best Product, Best Price, Best Business touch - meaning personable skills. The girl working the bar and tables was very good. I should have gotten her name. She left nothing for chance. There is one other thing to note when going out, Atmosphere. While this is no Colemans of Syracuse on Tipperary Hill, I challenge you to point out the differences. “A dim-lit bar with the usual big screens of sports news, Megan's is one of those Irish pubs that are sort of iconic of Midtown. I had their steak and they replaced the mash with fries per my request. The beef came topped with caramelized onions, which were much more like jam than other places. It was a welcome surprise to something as classic as steak and potatoes. The fries were good and the fruity beer I got was flavored with blueberry, another welcome surprise. Overall, not a bad place to stop by once in a while. Being on the walk between Herald and Rockefeller, this pub is a bit harder to find amid the many other restaurants on the way, and it can be a bit pricier than other places offering lunch specials. But the food was very good.“

“Wow! I've been on a mission to go to all of the places that make good burgers per reviews that I have read and so I was expecting a good burger at Emerald Inn since I read that they make good burgers. However, when I bit into the burger - cheeseburger to be exact with American cheese - sitting at the bar, I was overjoyed. I have had good burgers but this medium cooked patty was juicy and tasty. I could not help but smile. Vibe was great, friendly, attentive but not overbearing staff. I had no intentions of drinking beer but had 3 Guinness Stouts on draught. Wow wow wow!!! Can't wait to go back. Such a great place to go in and have good food, enjoy great ambiance, and friendly folk ambling about talking sports or theater or anything else by turns. A gem in NYC! 10 of 5 stars“

“Each time 1walk in to this place, in Bakersfield is a lot of people but with a wonderful atmosphere. I remember going there one Patrick's Day, the whole place was filled with people shoulder to shoulder it was great. Recently I went back and it was a slow night and for the first time I saw what the place really look like I couldn't see it before cuz of the crowd of people or should I say see of people which is bigger.I think you'll love it there.( parking is a little bit of a headache, if possible just take an Uber or whatever you feel comfortable with. )“

“My husband and I went here last night to beat the insane St Patrick's Day weekend crowd that will ensue today and we had a blast. John was our bartender and he was awesome. Attentive, warm, welcoming and pours a helluva drink. The crowd was great too. I'm a chatty Cathy and everyone I spoke to was really nice and friendly. Crowd was a nice age and by that I mean not too young. Really a great vibe & atmosphere. Hoping to go back this week for lunch cuz the food looks AMAZING! We've been looking for a neighborhood place to go to a couple of times a month and I think we found it.“

“Gabby O’Hara’s Irish Bar is a cozy, welcoming spot that captures the essence of a traditional Irish pub, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Irish fare and a genuine pub atmosphere. The standout dishes here are, without a doubt, the Chicken Pot Pie and the Shepherd’s Pie, each a hearty homage to classic Irish cuisine. Anyone can pour a pint, but not every place can make Irish fare as good as this place.“

“An Irish pub with a number of tvs and plenty of beer to choose from. I come here often when I meet with a few friends to watch soccer, hockey, and football games. The food is pretty good - and staff is attentive. This place has become a standard hangout for me in NYC. Definitely check out !“

“Rosie Dunn's is a wonderful Irish pub with a great atmosphere. I loved the music they played - Cranberries, RHCP. We wanted pub food so we stopped by for lunch. The best part for me was the customer service. The bartender/server (Makayla?) was very nice and professional.“
