“This place is right next to the Hamptonn Inn in Elizabeth which is pretty convenient. It wasn't super busy and they sit you down quickly with some good drinks. Our server seemed newer at her job, or perhaps not very good but the food was pretty tasty we had no complaints. \n\nIt's not fine dining but unless you want to eat at the food court at Jersey Mills or IHOP, this was the best option we found.“

“Calos Restaurant never disappoints! My absolute favorite is the linguine garlic with chicken and broccoli (yes, a custom order and they always get it perfect 🙌). The calamari is hands down the best, and they even offer a gluten-free option! And let’s talk about the drinks… Omg amazing. The mango lemonade and mango tea are my go-to favorites. 🥭✨ The arugula salad is to die for, and if you’re looking for a weekend treat, their brunch menu is pretty great too! Fresh, flavorful, and always made with love. A must-visit spot in North Arlington!“

I understand a steakhouse like this banks on making money off alcoholic beverages but not everyone drinks alcohol. I specifically asked the server if they carry Coca-Cola products and she said yes. Then she brought me some garbage RC Cola that was absolutely disgusting and gave me an immediate headache. When I questioned if it was actual Coca-cola she then sort of giggled and said oh no it's another brand. Why would a nice steakhouse like this not offer actual on brand products? Wolfgangs brings you your own little bottle of Coca-Cola. Better yet, why would the server not be truthful the first time and if she didn't know she could have said she would check. Unfortunately it just put a smudge on the night and we drove an hour each way to try Rails as it had been highly recommended to us. Again, the food was very good, the service otherwise was good, complimentary valet is always a treat, desserts were decadent and ambience is nice. Hopefully they revisit providing brand name non-alcoholic beverages in the future.“

“I won’t lie, I took my partner here as a surprise after he got into the car and I had the very Kitchen Nightmare episode this restaurant was featured in. You know, the episode with Bobby the gangsta executive chef who was making $100,000?

It was a great episode, but the owners looked like very good people. Even though it’s been a couple years, I discovered Bask46 was not only still open, but thriving.

We didn’t get to set at Gordon’s booth, but we were right next to it. The service and food were fantastic!

My partner got the tacos, which he loved (the portions look bigger than what Gordon has suggested). I had the 46 burger. The first half tasted bland, but it seems because all the flavor was just on the other side — and when I hit that, I loved it.

The potato skins appetizer was OK, but still we had a great experience.

It was a Sunday night so we didn’t expect to see the owners, but we still had a great time, and it looked like things were running smoothly.

Fun experience, and who knows, maybe we’ll trek back again. Bask46 is one of the rare Ramsay success stories, and it truly is a success.“

The prices seem a little high but when you can't even finish your food - that's a good deal. The menu is phenomenal. If you can't find something to eat here then you are insane.“

“This is the second time we’ve had Samar as our server, and he’s just wonderful! He’s so attentive, friendly, and always has a big smile on his face. We came in for the Triple Chocolate Meltdown (which is always a favorite!), but having Samar take care of us made it even better. The service here is always great. Our food comes out quickly, our orders are always right, and even the manager stopped by to check on us. This place really has that cozy, hometown restaurant vibe that makes you want to come back again and again!“

“Highly recommend! We had our wedding at Galloping Hill Golf Course in the summer of 2025. The day was everything we could have hoped for and everything went so smooth! We worked with Emily throughout the process and she was great to communicate with. Any questions were answered right away. We wanted a venue that had both inside and outdoor options and loved that it had a covered patio for use all night. Ellis was our day of coordinator and both of our bridal attendants made the day run so smooth. Our guests loved cocktail hour and dinner. There was a great amount of food we went with the seafood station, pasta, Brazilian, and Chinese. We also did the breakfast sandwiches to go for the end of the night! The golf course made great photo backgrounds as well. We had the best time and would do it all over again if we could!“

“A big, delicious mess. That is what I expect when I order BBQ style items off a menu and that's what I received! I stopped by for lunch and ordered the BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich. It was much larger than I expected and I did my best to finish it but did not fully succeed. The meat was overflowing and the sauce got everywhere.

The sides were decent. I loved the slaw but the fries could have used a little salt.

I am in town for a few more days and will definitely be back to try the ribs and some happy hour specials.“

I only gave atmosphere a 4 because the DJ today was way too loud couldn't have a conversation with my husband over the noise. My first time experiencing this at Tops. “Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

“This place is so clean. You wouldn't expect it when you first walk in, but there's no dust balls or cobwebs or anything on the antiques on the walls. So impressive. The staff and owners are so polite and professional, I feel like I could do a full page review on them alone. Our waitress Lisa was a pure delight. A breath of fresh air. If you enter through the bar you get to have a "Goodfellas" moment as you pass through the kitchen to the dining room and get to greet the chef. Finally, the food. It was awesome. I had the steak cooked medium and it came cooked medium..."WHAT!!".... I KNOW, who does that anymore. Cooking a steak to the temp you want it. Innovative. I was not disappointed in the slightest with my experience. The staff was super awesome and friendly. The show and servers were extremely organized and helpful. The experience is most definitely all there and I would go back again.

The restaurant had great modern vibe with good music & decor. The service was on point and our food & drinks were really good! Portions were generous & prices were reasonable especially for an airport near New York. We ordered the calamari to share which was my husband's favorite. Then he ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and I ordered the Mediterranean salad added falafel & house made blue cheese dressing & they also brought the vinaigrette which I am glad they did as it really made the dish. I felt the price was fair for the fact that it was furnished, with all utilities included, and had a gym that I used often over the year. It is also within walking distance (7-10 minutes) to Newark Penn Station. Parking was not included but I knew this before renting. I paid $250 per month to park in a lot right across the street.

This would be a 5-star review if not for the prolonged process for receiving my security deposit which dragged out over 30 days as others have mentioned. However, Maurice the current manager communicated extremely well and kept following up until it was ultimately returned to me in full.“
