“Five of us had a party on Saturday evening. The tavern was quite busy which reflected on service (our waiter wasn't present all the time). But I can understand that.
The space itself doesn't look like a typical Greek tavern, but high ceiling, good furniture and an appropriate lighting are definitely worth mentioning.
The food is good, but some portions are too small. For example, Greek salad is very tasty, but the portion is way too small. The same goes for grilled saganaki. In addition, our lamb chops were served well-done, although we asked for medium. On the other hand, our red snapper was great.
Restrooms are too small for a restaurant with this capacity.
The wine list should be MUCH better.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. And the prices are very reasonable to be honest.
However, if I compare the food and portions with some other Greek taverns in Astoria I have to admit there are better options.“

“We have enjoyed Sea Salt on past visits. This time our order was pre cooked. We ordered medium rare cheeseburgers and we received warmed up versions with cheese not melted instead of the fresh cooked ones in the past. It was disappointing. The rest of lunch was great. Service was superb.“

“I had such a great time at this Greek restaurant! Our server, George the Greek, was absolutely fantastic—so friendly, funny, and full of personality. I laughed so much during the meal, and he made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.

The food was incredibly tasty, too. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. I left completely satisfied and already planning my next visit.

“We were there in December and came across Symposium while walking. We were impressed by the cozy atmosphere and the amazing service we received. Our server knew a lot about the history of the restaurant and was helpful in suggesting a wine with dinner. The hummus, lemon potatoes and steamed vegetables were all very savory! “We had an excellent experience at It’s Greek To Me in Fort Lee. The food was outstanding from start to finish. One of the biggest surprises was the bean soup it’s not ordered often (according to our server), but it was absolutely delicious and something totally new for us. Everything else was just as good: the fried zucchini croquettes, calamari, feta puffs with sriracha honey, Greek salad, NY strip steak, and the grilled seafood platter with shrimp, calamari, and octopus. For dessert, the baklava was classic and perfect, and the Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts was incredible.
The service truly stood out. Benny took amazing care of us and made the entire experience even better attentive, kind, and professional. Parking is available, which is a huge plus in Fort Lee. We would 100% come back and highly recommend this restaurant.“
