“The sandwiches and appetizers are so good. The meat is not over cooked and just melts in your mouth. Perfect meal for a cold rainy day. I do have to say the pho is not good though. Not very flavorful, we tried the all beef pho and the duck noodle soup which were both a miss.“

“Saiguette has a really excellent Banh Mi. The lemongrass pork shoulder is my absolute favorite, the spicy creamy sauce is delicious and the pork is juicy. The veggies inside are generously portioned and the bread is crispy and soft. I probably eat it once a week and its genuinely almost a perfect sandwich.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Such a cute and cozy spot! The food was super yummy, the vibe was chill and comfortable, and the staff were so kind—especially Pim, who made us feel really welcome 💕
I had the crunchy spring rolls and shrimp summer rolls (no pics because I was way too hungry 😅), then the Pho Dặc Biệt, Hanoi-style Banh Mi, and finished with the most perfect Flan Cà Phê.
💥 I dare you to try the Pho—the portion is HUGE and totally worth it! Trust me, you’ll leave full and happy 😊“

“Really amazing food! We ordered Caramel Pork Banh Mi, Beef Bulgogi Bowl, and Kimchi Fries. Fantastic flavors and it just hit the spot after walking all over NYC. I ate the bowl before taking a picture because I could not wait. It just smelled so good. The spicy mayo sauce is so addictive and the fries were crispy and delicious. It's a small shop so there may not be enough space to sit if it's busy. But I would 100% be back the next time I'm in the city.“

“Delicious Vietnamese food! The broth is so flavorful, and I love that they have homemade hot sauce. Friendly and attentive staff, and it’s family-owned, which makes it feel even more welcoming. Only thing is that parking is tricky but manageable.“

“Fish banh mi is the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The fish is SUPER fresh and tender/flakey, the fish fillet breading is not too thick, the fresh made house baguette is soft (not stale at all), the pickled carrots also tasted fresh and not like they’ve been sitting around like other banh mi spots. Love they have a wide delivery radius and go downtown. The fried chicken banh mi is flavorful too but spicy.“

“Fantastic Vietnamese place, especially for first time diners. I had a delicious Bahn Mi sandwich with pork and DEVOURED it. My friends got some of the appetizers and the vermincelli all of which was also incredible. Food came out very quickly and hot. I also recommend getting one of their “exotic” drinks to try, especially the mangotree drink. It’s very similar in texture to mango nectar and very yummy! Overall, had a great experience and can’t wait to go back.“

“Small restaurant but packs a huge punch. The Mama Pho was amazing. Broth was flavorful, beef and beef balls were tender. Bánh Mi was also great, the bread was crunchy but soft. The iced Vietnamese coffee was a perfect accompaniment to the food.“

“I have found this place by chance. It's quite close to my place, but if you don't really look for it you won't find it. It's take out only. They have pho, bun bo, ramen and curry soup, along with bahn mi and other bowls. I loved the beef pho, and I really appreciate how they adjusted it to my taste. The portions are huge and the price is the best around. I would recommend trying all of their soups!“

“Our go to Vietnamese in the area. Authentic and delicious. Great pricing but they're pretty under staffed. The dude does a great job and juggling everyone and everything but it still shows. We still love this place, everything on the menu is tops. Good people.“

“Large portions and pretty delicious. The pho came in a large bowl. The vegetable spring roll was also good but had only one shrimp per cut roll. The bahn mi was probably my favorite. It was flavorful and filling. For the price, I'd definitely come back.
The service and atmosphere is good too. We went during lunch time and there were only a few other customers there, so it was very nice and quiet.“

“Food was delicious, didn’t take long. We got beef pho, thai iced tea, market fried rice, ginger sauté, thai coconut soup. All of it was great. Coconut soup was a great starter. Fried rice was our favorite. It’s an unassuming place compared to the thai place next door. Don’t get it confused! 🙏🙏🙏🙏😍😍“

“It’s easy to miss Mama’s Cupboard because of its sub-street level location. But you’ll be pleasantly surprised by its jazz bar ambiance. Thumbs up for the fried rice bowl lunch special ($14 plus tax). The crispy tofu remained crispy because it was placed on top rather than cooked with the rice. The Thai iced tea was served after the food came out, a bit odd when drinks are usually served first. Please note that the suggested tips are based on the taxed total.“

“If you're craving authentic Vietnamese flavors in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, look no further than Pho 39 on West 39th Street. Tucked away in a compact spot that's perfect for a quick lunch or cozy dinner, this hidden gem delivers big on taste without the fuss. I stumbled upon it during a busy workday, drawn in by the aromatic steam wafting out the door and the line of locals queuing up—always a good sign!
The atmosphere is no-frills but charming: limited seating keeps things intimate, and the service is lightning-fast and friendly, even during peak hours. The server was attentive, offering spot-on recommendations, It's the kind of place where you feel like a regular on your first visit.
Now, onto the star of the show: I ordered the Fried Catfish Pho, and oh man, it was absolutely amazing! The broth was rich and fragrant, simmered to perfection with layers of star anise, ginger, and herbs that hit that perfect balance of savory and subtle spice. The catfish fillets were fried to a golden crisp on the outside while staying tender and flaky inside—no greasiness here, just pure flavor that soaked up the broth like a dream. Paired with fresh rice noodles, a heap of bean sprouts, basil, lime, and jalapeños on the side, every bite was a textural adventure. It's not your traditional pho, but this fusion twist elevates it to something special—crunchy, comforting, and utterly addictive. At $16, it's a steal for the portion size, which left me satisfied but not stuffed.
Pho 39 isn't just food; it's a flavor explosion that transports you straight to the streets of Hanoi with a New York edge. Whether you're a pho fanatic or a newbie, do yourself a favor and stop by. 5 stars all the way—I'll be back soon for round two!“

“Visiting Just Pho You was a good experience I order the beef short rib pho my added meat was brisket. The broth was amazing, the meat was so tender. As an appetizer I had the lemongrass wings, very eye appealing I wish it was a little more seasoned but it was okay not completely bad. It was happy hour on drinks and appetizers, so that’s a plus. The atmosphere was good, it’s not a huge spot but still nice. It was a cold day and inside was cold as well but having soup made up for being cold.“

“I stopped into Pho Avenue in Midtown East a place that delivers every time. It’s small, low-key, but it has the kind of neighborhood feel that makes you want to duck in any chance you get!
The staff was quick and friendly, and my bowl of beef pho came out steaming hot in just a few minutes. The portion was generous, and they don’t skimp on noodles or herbs. That said, the broth leaned more on the mild side, clean, light and delicious!
If you’re in Turtle Bay or Midtown East and craving something warm and comforting, Pho Avenue hits the spot without the wait or hype of bigger restaurants.“

“No joke best Pho I’ve tasted. Beef combo Pho or Spicy Lemongrass Soup is really good! Can’t say enough about it but you have to try it. Been coming for one year now and same great food. Took a photo that doesn’t do this place justice, but it is 10/10.“
