“I rarely leave reviews online. But I must say. This place is amazing!! I got shredded chicken banh mi, papaya salad, iced coffee and desert. They all tasted absolutely delicious!! Papaya salad veggies were super fresh. And the portion size?? AMAZING!! recently portion sizes at restaurants sizeably decreased especially for salads. But this place surprised me!! The baguette for the bread was also fresh and light and was toasted to perfection. Deliver was right on time! Which is a whole another level of skill in nyc. Thanks to everyone working there and keep up the good work!! I'm so glad to have found this place. I will be a regular!“

“If you’re in the Bronx and love Vietnamese food, you are in for a treat. This place is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New York. The pho is so flavorful and filling especially with the beef and pickled vegetables. The rice and pork with fresh vegetables is so good. The rice goes so well with the crunchy vegetables and the grilled pork chop. Overall, this place is so good.“

“This little gem of a restaurant was such a great find. I was craving phó for a few days and decided to try a new place. My usual spots were just average so I hit the old search engine up for suggestions and found Chef Papa. There’s not a lot of seating so be forewarned. I was dining solo. I ordered their signature phó and a minced pork banh mi. When it comes to phó it’s all about the soup. Their broth is delicious. From the first spoon full you can tell it’s fresh and not full of msg or salt. The rice noodles had a nice chew to them and the proteins were plentiful. The banh mi baguette was crisp and lightly toasted. At the bottom was warm grilled minced pork. Above that was the Viet ham, cucumber, julienne carrots and cilantro.“

Only critique is that sometimes the beef slices are not that tender . Otherwise no complaints.

“So far our experience here is amazing. There were 8 of us plus a baby and the servers were all very nice to us, accommodating our needs. Very friendly too. Food is amazing! We had the beef pho, lamb chops, cha gio:sprint roll, sliced beef marinated in special sauce, beef and chicken curry. Food is excellent and amazing how cheap it is. For 8 of us bill was only $190 and plus extra $37 for tip. Usually for this big group its usually close to $400. Highly recommend this place. If ur friendly to the servers, they are good to you.“

Once had to put in a large group order and they completed everything on time and packaged everything together very well.
