“Sweet T's was amazing. The taste of every cake we tried was delicious and we ended on the tres leches cake. We also had some gluten free and dairy free people at our wedding and we were able to stop by the shop on a whim to ask to add some gluten free and some dairy free cupcakes to our order for them. Decor was amazing and they were so kind. I highly recommend them for any event, we will be using them again!“

“If you try the cookies at Downtown Cookies and say they aren’t the most delicious things you’ve ever eaten you can’t be telling the truth! Morgan and her bakers are artists with these cookies. These are massive, dense, delectable cookies with some classic and some unique flavors that Morgan has added her own flair to. She does a flavor of the month which are always on theme for a nearby holiday and they are so fun and absolute works of art. For our wedding, Morgan did an assortment of 5 cookie flavors of our choosing, plastic wrapped each, and then packaged them in individual boxes with ribbons of our color choice (to match our theme!) and then she made stickers and adorned them to each box. It was service beyond what I expected and the presentation was immaculate. We had the cookies placed at each table setting to ensure guests wouldn’t forget their favors and, walking around at our reception, we noticed more than a few cookie boxes had already been opened and sampled before the night’s conclusion. Couldn’t even blame them! Having been set on edible favors, we’re so glad we chose Morgan and Downtown Cookies to bring a sweet end to our special day.“

“I’m obsessed! Found this bakery on too good to go & took a ride over (from jersey) I came home with 4 different flavors of the banana pudding & my 16 year old and I tried each one. I can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so good. The Magic flavor name makes complete sense when you take a bite because different flavors seem to magically appear in your mouth (peanut butter being the last to hit…) hard to explain but if you taste it, it will make sense! I got 2 large puddings in my order than bought 2 different small ones in different flavors & i regret not getting the 2 extra cups in large! Driving in Philly stresses me out but I’ve never wanted to drive back over there so bad! For more pudding! I will be recommending this bake shop to everyone! “Incredible Pretzel’s ? Box of 50 pretzels ? to share at the office, everyone wants to know where they are from !!! Consider bringing your pretzels ? to Northeast Philadelphia, pretzels ? seem to be no existent. Only a few Philly Pretzel shops around in Northeast Philadelphia and they aren’t very good. Why only have one gold mines when you could have 2 !!!“

“I'm honestly disappointed in myself for not having come here sooner. The brunch menu is simple: some breakfast options like quiche, scrambled eggs, avocado toast, breakfast sandwich. Then some solid sandwich options, in addition.

We went with the apple & cheddar baguette with turkey. Delicious. The bread was super crunchy and the mustard was such a nice complement to the apples and meat. Also got the tozzino. Not usually a huge focaccia fan, but this was quite nice and the soppresatta was great. Always going to love burrata and this was done well. Finally, grabbed a tomato bread with cheese which was like a mini pizza and excellent-the crust was delectable.

Grabbed some of the pastries to go, all of which looked amazing. We came at a good point as we were able to snag a table but I can see it being difficult when it gets busy. Line moves quickly and the service is fast.

Would definitely come back. Wish I had tried the soup on the cold day we went so will likely be going with that next time.“

“The officially unofficial best boba spot in Chinatown. Reason why? They use fresh fruit for their boba. Nice cuts of mango or tea taro. Plus their bakery items are delicious.

Protip: this is one of only 3-4 of the Chinese bakeries in the area that do steamed meat buns. And in my opinion, the best tasting and bang for buck.

“My fiancé and I stopped in here to grab something sweet after a lunch date and BOY we were NOT disappointed with what we bought!! The environment is so friendly and inviting, the staff is sweet as can be and the dessert are DELICIOUS!! It was our first time here so they offered us one of three cookies to try and phew they sold us on the spot, we tried the cannoli and ricotta cookies and they were mouthwateringly good, they were light, fluffy and subtle yet still packed with flavor, they were so good we grabbed a half a pound!! We also snagged a massive fudgie brownie and betty funfetti cookie both absolutely phenomenal and all for under $20!!! 100/10 would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, they even have a few liquor infused treats for those old enough to enjoy…OH and they offer ice cream on Thursday nights!! “The chocolate pretzel is overrated if you ask me. It’s not bad, it just looks better than it tastes. The hazelnut croissant however, is really good. The coffee is not bad, and the service is pretty good. It’s a cute little bakery with some small French bistro tables by the window and a couple of small booths on the other side. I have to be back to try their crepe though, I heard good things.“

“No questions about it the best family old school bakery. Mario and his mom are the nicest most generous business owners. I was born and raised in Philly and I moved away for military service and whenever I come back they hook me up with travel boxes for the cannolis. They are the best cannolis in the city. Yes, even better than the other two famous big named bakery’s. The cookies are buttery and flakey and delicious. Just try everything there 😂. Definitely stop by and get some old school Italian desserts and it will become your favorite spot in Philly to indulge in our Italian culture!!!“

I went for my first time and the owner Steve could tell I was into bread and pizza and history and stuff and invited me back to check out how he bakes everything and showed me all the old machines, the mixer, the dough separator. Not a bad thing to say about this place, but do note that the seating is limited and it’s probably best for takeout.“

“Yes to everything. The main storefront is mostly just their warehouse, so not a lot of space to stay/eat, but the products are amazing. Everything from the pretzel shortbread cookies to the einkorn canele! Their sweet and treats are very wholesome and filling. Can’t go wrong with anything you order“

The sweets are very sweet, but sometimes during the holidays there are not many choices, and the sweets were not as sweet as usual, and they are always on display and they do not know what is in it. I advise them to write the ingredients for each sweet. There are times when I am allergic to something and I do not know what is in it, and when I do not ask them, they do not know, but they just say chocolate or vanilla.“
