“From the phone reservation to the table service, the quality of their staff really surprised me. The bartender made good drinks (though please keep the mint in the mojitos), and our server was very attentive, constantly checking on us, gave good suggestions and was able to explain every question. The food, on the other hand, was just okay, not bad, but nothing that would make me go back for it. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming.

Keepers is a great spot to grab a few cocktails before dinner somewhere else, or as a cozy stop during a date night.“

“This is my second time to Dear Maud when visiting Hoboken. Both times I would say the dining room is very loud. The walls are made of brick, I believe and so nothing insulates the sound. The service in the bar was quick, but slightly impersonal. No one was unfriendly which is good, but it was about turnover. The happy hour menu is generous. I would definitely order the $7 pizza every time. The Manhattan I ordered off- menu was delicious. The lychee martini was on the sweeter side, but it was good. The short rib fried rice was delicious but I was not a fan of the sweet teriyaki sauce drizzled on top. Beware of the red peppers on top because those are spicy. The steak tips were really good and tender. I would go here next time only if I don’t want to walk very far from where I’m staying and if I want some decent drinks. It’s pretty hard to hold a conversation in this restaurant unless you’re speaking louder than you normally would. Great location though.“

“Jane Doe was an amazing date night for my wife and I. The atmosphere was energetic, fun, not rowdy and perfect for lively conversation with friends, loved ones and dates. The drinks were clearly made by a mixologist that knows their craft. Delicious. We ordered a whipped ricotta with meatballs that came with pita, it was our favorite dish of the evening. The KFC sliders were good and the steak on the apps menu were delicious, tender and filling. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants a cozy, romantic yet authentic and energetic vibe. “I have been to many hot pot places and this is the very best I have ever been to. It’s one of my favorite restaurants period. The food is always super fresh and delicious, the staff is super amazing, and the ambience is spot on for a fun and relaxing dining experience. To top it all off, I have food sensitivities (gluten free, in particular), but I have never had any issues here. I always get the mushroom soup base. It is soooooo flavorful. I don’t live close, but always try to find excuses to go to American Dream Mall just to dine here!“

“The Roxy provided an incredible evening from start to finish. Our waiter, Bruce, was exceptionally welcoming and brought a warm, inviting energy to our table. We started with the ahi tuna tartare, which was simply fantastic; the freshness and richness of the fish were unmatched, and every bite had the perfect firmness. Following Bruce's recommendation, we also tried the charred octopus, which lived up to its wonderful menu description. The overall quality of the products is clear in every dish, and the wine selection is elegant. The martini is unbelievable, service was amazing (we love you EJ!), AND the oysters 11/10. Cocktail sauce was homemade and it’s the first time I loved a cocktail sauce. We will be coming back.“

My wife had foie gra mousse and I had the beet salad both were great, entree black bass and duck breast both cooked to perfection the dessert was wonders. Great attentive service. Had the pleasure of meeting the chef, Sadie and the gen. Manager Melanie, they could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend, parking might be hard to find. I will return and soon, they are going to offer the foo gra in puff pastry, I go just for that. I found it reasonably priced. My wife enjoyed her 70th birthday meal as much as I did.“

But we found it and as we got upstairs, the bartender greeted us at the door and was very friendly.
Drinks were great but one margarita was missing it's requested salt.

I cannot recommend them enough! Service was impeccable from start to finish and pricing was competitive with downtown Hoboken.

The event coordinator, Avery was prompt and incredible helpful in getting all of the details right. Mike was attentive and delivered on every ask on the night of. Jessie was a gem behind the bar and was wonderful in the planning phases to help me nail down the drink package! Ryan showed incredible range with his DJing and kept the dancefloor lively all night.

Cocktail menu is fantastic as well!

“I had a great time at this bar, we went for a couple of drinks and to watch the sunset. The drinks were really good but I feel like they're a little overpriced, I guess you're paying for the experience more than the actual drink so we didn't mind. The place is beautiful I strongly advise to go around 7 during summer time, the view is amazing. The only problem we had was with the service. Our server was very rude cutting straight to the point (mind you it wasn't that busy) and he didn't check on us once until we had to wave him down to get our check. We finished our drinks and we wanted to get some more but he never came to our table so we were frustrated by that. We just ended up getting our check and left to get more drink somewhere else. I would come back hopefully when another server is working.“

Our server, Valeria, was very attentive, answered all our questions, and even gave us recommendations based on what we were in the mood for. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share: sushi, ramen, boba, shrimp tempura, wings, and yakitori. Everything was delicious, and the portions were good. The spicy wings were a bit spicier than I expected, but they still had great flavor. Overall we had a really good experience, with great food and ambiance, and we'll be coming back!“

One of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time. We were greeted by multiple friendly staff members. Our servers went above and beyond ensuring everything was great. “A true rating for this spot. Went on a Friday night at 7pm and plenty of space at the bar. Comfortable for solo dining. Had the salmon tartare tacos , so good, well garnished. The burger with avacado is a must have, perfect size and truly cooked medium rare. Hidden gem and they do Brunch !“
