Clean, well lit, open environment, offering plenty of seating and some fun selfie backgrounds.

The service was respectful and kind.

We ordered tacos (of course). Nick ordered the bulgogi tacos and I had a tofu taco and a bistec taco. Everything we had was exceptional. They also provide an amazing green salsa, but to be honest the tacos really don’t need it, they have so much flavor! We are so glad we gave this place a try and recommend you do too!“

The small boneless chicken was honestly huge and the chicken was super crispy. The spicy rice cakes were way better than I expected — especially since I don’t usually like rice cakes.

The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is that it came with no radish, no dipping sauce, nothing on the side.

For $14 for a small order, I’d expect at least some radish, I’d also give up a few pieces of chicken for radish.

Also, it’s definitely more of a take-out spot — the covered patio is nice but not heated, therefore I ate my food in the car since it was cold.

Overall though, really solid food and an easy 4-star meal.“

“this AYCE KBBQ spot is now part of my family’s rotation. the meat is always good and we love that they’re adding new items to the menu. we always get the cube steak, cast iron steak, pork belly and pork jowl. the staff cooks and cuts the meat for you and are attentive so that nothing burns. they also have some great sides like the beef soup, crab soup (must try if you like crab) and popcorn chicken. great spot to up your protein intake.“

“As a new resident to the neighborhood, this place gives me a little piece of home cooking. Good kimchi is hard to find, and most are poor imitations. Kate’s Kimchi is one of the best I’ve tried in a long time, and having it so close is brilliant. I’ve tried their Bibimbap and the Dubu Bokkum—both fantastic. If you’re like me and miss home cooking, but find it a hassle to drive into the city or to Queens, Kate’s Kitchen is a time saver. What a gem! Highly recommended. I just hope this place doesn’t get too popular.“

It paired well with the waffle, and the fresh pineapple and ripe tomatoes. The box comes with a heap of fries and a mozzarella stick. The milk teas are generously sized, and there are many other tasty looking permutations. “I got so lucky when I randomly stumbled upon this place while getting lunch at work. As someone who loves chicken teriyaki trust me when I say you must try theirs. I have been searching for the last few years all around the bergen county area for the best chicken teriyaki and I have found it here. This is my absolute favorite! I have tried probably 50+ restaurants and nothing can beat this. From the way they prepare chicken, to the homemade sauce they use, the perfectly cooked rice and the avocado, egg and dumplings they add on.... it is one of the greatest combinations i've ever tasted. On top of that, their sushi is always delicious and fresh. If thats not enough, they also have fantastic owners and workers there. I always get a warm greeting, and they're thankful for my patronage. “It’s pretty awesome to devour unexpected high quality of donkatsu (pork cutlets) in a food court setting.

There’s only one other restaurant that makes better or similar donkatsu in NJ. That would be Katsune in Fort Lee. Katsune simply knows how to fry cutlets crispy without being greasy. While maintaining the juicy and savory protein inside the fried bread crumbs.

I highly recommend Katsune Donkatsu if you are visiting Little Ferry Hmart and looking something to eat.“

“My wife and I enjoy Korean food and have tried a lot of places around Northern Jersey. This spot is close to home, so we figured we’d give it a shot. It ended up being better than expected. The food was solid—flavorful, though a little heavy on the sauce. Still hit the spot. Parking isn’t great, but that’s pretty much the norm around here. You order on a big touchscreen, and the food comes out pretty quick. Not a ton of seating since it’s more of a takeout joint, but it gets the job done.“

The food really looks as good in person as it does in the images. I had the honey garlic boneless chicken and mixed with the white rice, it is especially delicious! The secret sauce was great too, very unique and floral and just the right spiciness.

Also worth noting was the fantastic lady who helped us today! I’m assuming she’s the owner/manager…she was so friendly and welcoming, the kind of person you’re happy to see every time. Between the food and her kind energy, we will definitely be coming back for more soon!!“

“By far one of the best Korean Japanese restaurants. I’ve been ordering from Sea Shai since 2021/22 & the consistency of the food and customer service is always amazing! The flavor of the food is spectacular. I travel to Sea Shai to pick up my order because it is several neighborhoods away, totally worth the drive. One of the best all you can eat sushi spots around. My friends absolutely love the sushi, and I appreciate that they have plenty of delicious vegetable sushi options for me. They also offer a great selection of hot appetizers, which is always a plus.
The only challenge? Having to choose between fried Oreos and ice cream which is a seriously tough decision! I do wish they allowed at least two desserts per person. Also, it would be great if they added a simple rice option to the menu.

“Inside the Hackensack Hmart is a food court. And inside that food court is this humble little food stall, where I go whenever the craving for a bowl of Korean black bean noodles hits. Jjajangmyun is a popular Korean-Chinese dish made from black bean paste, meat, and diced vegetables. When I'm suddenly fixin' for that slurpy bowl of saucy noodles, this is where I come.

Why? Because it's close to my commute, it's quick and casual, reasonably priced, and consistently good. As an added bonus, there are lots of other offerings in the food court in case my eating mate didn't want to eat the same thing.

Ordering is simple. Go to the counter, place your order, and they'll give you a receipt with a number. If you find seats nearby, there's a little screen at the stall that tells you when your order is ready for pickup. If you end up sitting far away, don't fret. There's an automated loudspeaker that clearly calls out stalls and ready order numbers.

My go-to order here is (of course) the jjajangyun. The menu offers a small variety - regular (with meat and veggies), uni, and spicy. Spice lovers, you're going to love the spicy jjajangmyun (#4 on the menu). The jjajang sauce is also delicious on rice, and I've loved the shrimp fried rice with it.

Serving sizes are decent, and it comes with the tiniest cup of yellow pickled radishes (a standard condiment for this dish).“

“I absolutely love this place. I have a very bad case of long covid since October 2021 where almost everything smells and tastes rotten or sickly sweet. I am able to eat the hot pot miso ramen soup with a lot of different vegetables, and I can have the chocolate cake/cupcakes. So delicious! I can also eat the white rice and the grilled pineapples. Before finding out that I can have all of this, I was losing a massive amount of weight, thank God for the few things that I can have here, I’m able to maintain my weight now. I just tend to go a bit crazy with what I can eat because I’m so hungry from not really eating the other days. The workers are amazing. The manager, Justin is really nice and very funny. The owner Darin is also very nice. Love the atmosphere and the music, I still can’t eat the other things and the smells from the other foods still bother me but I deal with it just so I can eat what I’m actually enjoying there.
