We ordered Philly cheese steak, chicken burger w/ fries and chicken & lamb on rice and it all tasted so delicious and cooked to the right temperature and so fresh.
So glad that our vacation in NJ included eating at this yummy food cart.“

But if you’re someone who enjoys good service like me then this is not the place. after being sat down for 15 mins the server gave the menu. After reminding 3 times, we finally got water which was bottled and we were not told about I assumed they would bring tap water and on top of that they will randomly put 15% or 18% tip irrespective of party size. Waiting for menu for 15 mins and then waiting for water not sure what kind of service one is getting and to top it off getting the drinks ordered post meal! “I recently visited food street at Secaucus and had an amazing experience. Despite the menu being on smaller side, everything that we tried was delicious.I went with their signature Hangry beef Burger and it did not disappoint. The patty was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and tender.

“I grew up in NYC so I’m no stranger to halal carts. Since I’ve moved to JC (which I know is only across the river, but the food scene really is different), I have yet to find my go-to halal spot… until now! I paid $10 for a chicken over rice. The chicken was so juicy and they were very generous with the chicken and sauce. So delicious but also so dangerous that I’m so close by“

“Let me emphasize this, NOBODY and I do mean NOBODY, makes a delicious bowl the way Tacobees do. I live far and order with extra charges through Ubereats because it’s just that good and worth every penny. I get burritos the size of a tiny baby. I should know because I’ve had tiny humans before and those burritos are at least 2lbs or more lol.

The way the burritos and bowls are made, is just so good. They don’t skimp out on anything. It’ll be full to the absolute brim. Their queso and guac is hands down the best out of all other chains (Chipotle, Moe’s and Qdoba.) The steak and honey chicken is just chefs kiss. I love how my delivery is also always warm and the most important part, correct. They just get me and can take my check any weekend!“

The first time I went here, I sat next to an older Indian woman who boldly proclaimed the lamb curry was the best she’d ever had in her life. “Absolutely PHENOMENAL food. We got a family platter of chicken and rice and a side of jerk chicken. It was the best food I’ve had in a very long time.

Salad was delicious, everything was fresh and wrapped so perfectly. The sauces were so yummy, I’d eat here every damn day if I could.“

“The food was amazing, I ordered the falafel sandwich which was $8 and the chicken over rice which was also $8. Both were well made and the portions were generous. This is a bang for your buck considering how expensive meals are in this area. They even have a green sauce available that they make themselves.

Kazi himself despite a bit of a language barrier is an awesome person to speak to, he is generous in terms of helping his clients out both in pricing and with his sympathy. The service is awesome and overall I would recommend this halal cart/food to anyone out there!“

1) Chicken Platter - AWESOME !!!! Portion was good and flavor was sooooooo good

2) Philly Cheese Steak - OMG !!!! The hero/sub was sooo good that it is a "must have"

3) Mixed Gyro - ALHUMDULLIAH !!!! The Sandwich / Pita was so packed that it took time to eat and I enjoyed every bite.

I got the buffalo hot & told ack to mix it with the Thai chili sauce, GAHTTTTTTT, MASHAALLAH !!!! They were the best wings I’ve ever tried, I can’t even lie. Crispy, tender, flavorful, they surprised me. Wife got the lamb platter & said it’s the best she’s had. They really do cook back there with love & effort. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!“

With what the new owners have done with the place I can see this place booming in no time. They have a large vegan selection which is perfect for my family and I, and it’s actually great tasting vegan food which is rare to find. I tried the meatless shawarma in the Grape Leaf Bowl and wow… it is incredible. The presentation was very nice and the flavor is amazing. 10/10 I will definitely be returning here again soon. “I ordered takeout from Kulchay recently and had a positive experience. The woman working there was incredibly friendly and helpful while I waited. I tried their signature naanizza which is a fusion of naan and pizza. Both the chicken tikka and super supreme naanizzas were delicious. Even though I got stuck in traffic and had to reheat them at home, they still tasted great although I imagine they would be even better fresh out of the oven. I also tried the halwa naan for dessert which was decent but not something I would order again. “I had an incredible experience at this amazing restaurant—the Yemeni chicken haneeth was tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. My friend ordered tuna with vegetables and it was fresh and cooked to perfection, while my other friend had the salmon steak which was rich, juicy, and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and warm, enhancing the whole dining experience.

“I am glad I picked this place to have lunch with family. Best Uzbek food I tried so far. Tashkent plow tasted so good. They offer meat and pumpkin samsa. They have nice dessert options. We tried napoleon cake, Uzbek baklava, medovik came(Russian honey cake) They were delicious. Green tea is good to try. Parking is on street. Staff were great. Clean and neat restaurant.“

“I usually visit Dave’s Hot Chicken at 7th Ave Brooklyn.
This time we went so late that it was just 40 minutes left in closing and they had put all the tables and chairs away (means the dine in was closed already) but the girl at the counter was so nice that she not only allowed us to take the chairs and sit but also suggested us to rate them on app to get a free drink (everyone loves free stuff..right??)
The food and atmosphere is always always so good. We love to go there at least twice a month (as far from our place). Highly recommended especially if you are looking for some good halal food.“

So, quality was great. I ordered a mix platter/combo over rice for delivery. When I got the food, it was nice and hot, but it was just lamb over rice. No chicken to be found. Everyone makes mistakes, so it's fine. I really wasn't too upset because the lamb was delicious. The rice was great as well. Fries could be better. Overall quality is a 5 STAR in my opinion.

The QUANTITY, however, really needs to be addressed. I paid $14.14 for the food + taxes. This is without the delivery fee. And after I finished my meal, I was HUNGRY. This should not happen, like EVER. There was barely any meat, there was an OK amount of rice and maybe 10 pieces of fries. IDK maybe I'm the one with a big appetite, but I'm pretty sure this wouldn't fill up any adult.
Overall Quantity is a 2 STAR in my opinion.

So I'd give the place a 3.5 Starts but that's not available so I'll be generous and round UP instead of down.“

“I've been eating New York City halal cart food since 1998 when my wife worked on the corner of 53rd and 6th Avenue. I would grab a mixed platter from Halal Guys while I waited for her.

Then I became a fan of Adel's a little further down the street on 49th and 6th.

My new favorite is this cart in Williamsburg. Service is friendly and fun and most importantly, the platters are tasty, cooked to order, and priced at pre-Biden prices!

I had meat combo over spicy rice and my wife had meat combo over normal rice and for $10 each you really can't go wrong. Big portions that tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend.
