“I’m so happy I came across this Jamaican restaurant! Every dish here is freshly prepared. Not sure who the chef is here, but give that man a raise! Lol….authentic Jamaican food is definitely a big plus for this location. They give you many options aside from their famous rice and peas with a side of chicken. They also have a variety of soups on their menu. Their prices are very fair and for that reason I will definitely be back, and this time for some good ol’ oxtails! The establishment is very clean, and the staff is very polite. Only bad thing I can say is, why didn’t I come here sooner!!!! Guys keep up the great work. You’ve gained a repeat customer. “I'm not from NJ, but I accidentally drove 40 mns to this place because I was craving haitian food. All I can say is I was not disappointed!
It started with their customer service, because when I realized how far it was and wanted to cancel, they offered to drive it to me, which I declined but was nice of them nonetheless.
The food was fresh, super delicious and on the large order, they give you enough food to feed you twice. The macaroni salad was great, duri djondjon was awesome and the Tasso kabrit was excellent. If you're in Irvington or close by, this is one spot that I'd definitely recommend!“

“I’ve order for the past two days the chicken and beef soup because I’ve been sick. It is some of the best Jamaican soup I’ve had in awhile that’s really good besides home ?. I appreciate you guys reaching out for my Uber eats order letting me know that it was going to be awhile. The little things always count and go a long way. I will definitely continue to order and try different things on the menu and refer you all to people who are looking for some top quality Jamaican eats. Bless up.“

“The food here taste good. The staff is very nice. I had the white rice, legume, griot. The griot pieces that I got were a bit fatty, but some were not and they tasted very good. But the small combo came with salad and piklis which I asked for on the side. The piklis was good. The rice and beans is also good. On Friday they have seafood and I did try the legume with crab and supposedly shrimp. I was told there would be shrimp, but there wasn't but there was crab and it tasted so good, I almost ate the shell as well. It was the best crab in legume, I've ever had in my life. This is definitely a good place for Haitian food. I will try more and be back with my opinion on the soup joumou and salads. They have those on Sundays. The food taste good and fresh.“

“I visited the restaurant yesterday for Fritay and to my surprise they included potato salad and mac gratin with meal. They offer this add on as a bonus for Sundays only, it was delicious. Service was fast and ladies behind counter were nice! Definitely coming back and highly recommend.“
