“On vacation as a joke, we searched for "the worst bar near me" which led us to this amazing little place. We had the absolute best food! The waitstaff was attentive, fun, and helpful. Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. If these Wisconsintes find ourselves in Jersey City again, we will absolutely make a dedicated return to the Wurstbar!“

“Decided to come around noon to try their 8.95 breakfast special and was helped by Allen. He was pleasant and respectful. The store is clean, bright and breezy during the day and makes you forget about how dirty grove street area is! The burrito was filling and came with crispy home fries AND they offered free coffee which was decent! They even had oat milk. You really can’t beat the price especially in this area“

“I had the chance to check out Seoul bap in the city and glad i did. We ordered a few different items and a couple drinks so we could taste a variety of things. We started off with drinks, mine was pretty strong they do not skimp on the alcohol.
For appetizers we had the korean fried chicken and corn cheese. The kfc was nice and crispy with a nice kick to it. The corn cheese was delicious and even had a spicy cauliflower in it that gave it some flare.
For main courses we did the famous galbi jjim - this is a must! It is tender fall of the bone perfection, the sauce is divine and the parsnip puree completes it. The spicy pork wasn't that spicy which I preferred and was good on its own. And then the burrata tteokbokki, what a combo! The burrata really added a nice cooling touch to the spicy sauce, really great pairing.
We ended dinner with black Sesame ice cream which was very velvety.

“This was an amazing experience! Ten Degrees Bar is one of those rare places that immediately makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a hidden gem. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively — dim lighting, great music that’s not too loud to talk over, and a crowd that feels effortlessly cool but still welcoming. Whether you’re going for after-work drinks, a date night, or just to unwind with friends, this place delivers.

The drink menu is impressive — creative cocktails alongside all the classics done right. Every drink we ordered was perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. But what really made the night stand out was the service, especially from Lucas, who was behind the bar.

Lucas was absolutely fantastic. He has that rare mix of professionalism and personality that makes you want to stay a little longer. He took the time to ask what kind of flavors we liked and then recommended a few cocktails off-menu that turned out to be spot on. He worked quickly even though the bar was packed, never losing his cool, and somehow managed to make everyone at the bar feel like they were his favorite customer. You can tell he really knows his craft — and actually enjoys it.

It’s that kind of attentive, genuine service that turns a good night into a memorable one. Thanks to Lucas and the whole Ten Degrees team, we’ll definitely be coming back.

“Friendly sports bar a short walk from Penn Station in the Ironbound section of Newark, New Jersey. Service is friendly, and the menu offers sandwiches and appetizers. I received free refills on my ice tea, which was welcome. Clean and unpretentious place.“

“Have been here several times over the last many years, and it seems to unfortunately be falling off - at least with the beer selection. It seemed like it used to have many more beers on tap than they do now (20 minus some macros), and their can selection also seems greatly diminished. And, not only is the selection smaller, it had a lot of easy to find stand by beers. It used to be you could get some gems here like Tilted Barn, Fat Orange Cat and Root + Branch. Now those places may have changed distribution, but there wasn't a lot interesting (YMMV) on tap when I was recently there.
