“I came to shop from NYC was very hungry and I tried Japanese Korean , but the beef noodle soup the meat they use it’s supposed to be soft , beef for stew so easy meat other places near stuck in my teeth and not soft . Highly recommend this place . I came here Tuesday October 22 , 2024 veggies were tasty too and perfect taste , I will bring my family here .“

“This is now a Hunan noodle restaurant. It isn’t a hot pot restaurant anymore (this pictures with black tables are of the old restaurant). The food was good. Got the scrambled egg minced pork and chili beef brisket. The minced pork was the better of the two.

Saturday lunch was not crowded. Order in the back and they’ll bring the food to your table. It looked like they do high delivery volume based on the foot traffic.“

“Party of 10 + you can get your own room w KTV. Hotpot w lots of options and the hot foods selection offers of variety of seafood and BBQ skewers which actually taste good. Baked oysters were solid too. Beer and drink selection good. Shoutout to our wonderful waitress, Wendy. Although we were a huge group of 12-14 people, she took care of us really well, friendly and professional throughout the process. Will be returning

“I always come here after a long day of a work trip. Coming from a place where most hot pots are all you can eat. I was a little shocked by the prices, but once I received my order and saw the portion in the quality, I totally understood. Flavors are great and ingredients are fresh. You’re paying for a cleanliness and quality. Servers are kind and accommodating and check on you often. You don’t need to order a ton to leave here feeling very full and satisfied.“

“Yesterday, on the Mid-Autumn Festival night, we brought our parents and children to have a meal together. We usually go to Flushing for hot pot, but we didn't expect such a good hot pot so close to LIC. There are many special dishes, all of which taste good. The bell shrimp slider and egg yolk shrimp slider are both good. The medium spicy base is just right. I will try the spiciest one next time.

But what makes me come back is the great service. The person who served our table was Tao, who was very attentive and provided us with soup and vegetables in a timely manner. One time, the soup accidentally spilled. They quickly replaced us with a new pot of soup and replenished various dishes. Before leaving, we were even allowed to taste the homemade soy milk in the store. Not because of these dishes, but because it can be seen from these actions that Tao really cares. He takes care of our family with intention. He hopes that we can eat happily and not be unhappy because of accidents. He only observes such subtle things out of kindness. , the service is so attentive. This kind of service is no longer common in fast-paced hot pot restaurants, and I hope that this original intention can be maintained. Thank you Tao for giving us the opportunity to take our children and parents to enjoy this wonderful experience. We will come back for food soon. I wish you a happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

In addition, the ladies and gentlemen in all the stores are very friendly. When passing by, they will subconsciously check the table to see if there is anyone who needs service. They will also say hello and say thank you for coming. It feels very friendly, like home away from home.

“I'm really happy to have an AYCE hotpot place in the UWS! The staff here were all really friendly. There was a mix-up with a reservation issue, and the staff were very apologetic about the inconvenience, and happily accommodated us the next day. They're newly open, so we think there was just a sudden influx of new customers that they weren't expecting.

The food was delicious-- we got the spicy soup base and tomato soup base in a split pot. We only put in one order of all our ingredients, but the server reminded us that it's AYCE and that we shouldn't be shy about ordering more, which was really nice. They were much less busy on Sunday evening, so noise level was very good for conversation, and you don't feel like you need to rush for other customers to come in.

The selection of meats and veg is great, and the sauce bar has everything that I normally use for hotpot sauces!

“The broth in this place is flavorful, and the ingredients are fresh and relatively plentiful. The only complaint I have is the buffet items, they are tasty but in a slow day where they don't run out quick enough, they get a bit dry or soggy depend on the food type. Overall a good place to have shabu shabu with reasonable pricing. Recommend to give this place a try.“

“Randomly decided to dine here before a show at Webster Hall. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious. Teppen gyoza, kimchi beef fried rice, dynamite roll, and mango martini. Definitely plan on returning.“

“When Flaming Mountain first opened, the place was packed. I remember waiting almost two hours just to get a table because everyone wanted to try it. The food was amazing with fresh ingredients, rich and flavorful broths, and tons of variety. The staff was also super friendly and made the whole experience even better.

I recently went back and was shocked to find there was no wait at all. It still tastes just as good and the service is just as welcoming. I have no idea how it’s not crowded anymore but it honestly feels like a hidden gem now. If you haven’t been in a while, now’s the best time to go.“

“I absolutely love this place. I have a very bad case of long covid since October 2021 where almost everything smells and tastes rotten or sickly sweet. I am able to eat the hot pot miso ramen soup with a lot of different vegetables, and I can have the chocolate cake/cupcakes. So delicious! I can also eat the white rice and the grilled pineapples. Before finding out that I can have all of this, I was losing a massive amount of weight, thank God for the few things that I can have here, I’m able to maintain my weight now. I just tend to go a bit crazy with what I can eat because I’m so hungry from not really eating the other days. The workers are amazing. The manager, Justin is really nice and very funny. The owner Darin is also very nice. Love the atmosphere and the music, I still can’t eat the other things and the smells from the other foods still bother me but I deal with it just so I can eat what I’m actually enjoying there. “I always come here for celebration and whenever I go eat with friends . It is priced with great value and all the options I really want in hot pot. The grilled fish and bbq is a plus. “Had a very nice dinner here in an intimate and beautiful setting! It was my first time trying shabu omakase; they cooked the meat in front of us and placed each piece on our plate like sushi omakase. While the cooking is the fun part of shabu shabu and I would’ve liked to control the degree to which the meat was cooked (it wasn’t equal and I kept receiving the more raw piece), it was also pleasant to watch. The pace was a bit too fast for me, because we were the only party in the restaurant. It would’ve been better had they paced it like a full house instead of cooking the next as soon as the previous piece was gone from the plate. (I just kept half a piece on my plate so we wouldn’t get the next one so quickly.)

We got yuzu sake and umeshu in the beginning as refreshments, then got sake for the course which paired well with the heavy meat. The A5 wagyu truly melted in my mouth, but I personally preferred the wagyu after the first bite bc it was less fatty. The whole course might be a bit too much of meat after meat, especially if you’re a smaller person (I couldn’t eat any more after 5-6 slices). Better pacing might have helped with this, or maybe it’s just a lot.

At any rate I was happy by the end of the night and it was quite memorable. Just make sure you can stomach everything or bring someone who can take their portion as well as yours.“

We got the shabu-shabby dish which comes with a mountain of vegetables and your own choice of meats. Make sure to get an amount of meat that fits your group size, the prices on the menu are per one portion of meat and you can combine different kinds or get multiple portions of the same.

We also got the duck, guidance, salmon, and mushrooms appetizers. All were pretty tasty“
