“They have vegan cheese which, for someone with alpha-gal syndrome is a huge plus. The grilled octopus appetizer was delicious with the roasted peppers, olives and arugula-salad greens with a balsamic vinegar drizzle. The service was impeccable: we sat at the bar but servers and the bartender were very attentive, polite, and efficient. The food was delicious and quickly served given the busy Friday night. My only criticism is that they still use plastic straws instead of alternatives, like Phade or (a lesser favorite) paper straws.“

“We ate at Franny’s yesterday after attending a scouting merit badge class nearby. Everything was amazing. We communicated ahead of time to ensure they could accommodate our party of 16 and were able to place our order ahead of time too. Everything was seamless as we walked in with a table ready and the pizza immediately arrived fresh from the oven. The pizza was a perfect crispy thin crust and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

We catered my daughter’s graduation party and my guests could not stop raving about the food! “Our favorite…The Sauce! The most delish pizza. My daughter absolutely loves (and she is a picky eater with everything). There is no pie that they can’t make for you. And for me being gluten free, they always take care of me and my tummy! Prices are great, ingredients are fabulous. Most importantly…they give back to the community and take care of everyone. “I guess naturally you start with the food. Sooo good. LOVE the vodka slice! Pizza is absolutely delicious. But the atmosphere raises this spot up another level. “This was our first time at this pizzeria restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. Service by owner Mike was outstanding due to his wonderful personality. We had the veal franchise and the ziti bolognese and both dishes were really delicious and food was plentiful enough that we took home leftovers. Veal was extremely tender. Highly recommend this byob for a decent casual meal at great prices.“

“Great cocktail bar… martinis… negronis… top shelf! Wine??? Meh… chintzy pour of just average wines…$14!for a 4 oince pour of a “ Super Tuscan” ? Steer clear… not worth it.
Food… tomato sauce is top shelf… but if you are featuring your sauce and you fill a dish surrounding 2 small pieces of eggplant( which was cooked perfectly BTW) you need to provide some BREAD for dipping… not everyone likes garlic bread ( at $10) avoid the “ wood fired” artichokes… they are “ canned” and nothing special at $14! The Short rib plate with butternut squash is amazing… a little on the sweet side… but something special for sure.
The Meatballs…. Ypu can make better at home small orbs of deep fried beef… very little flavor very crunchy…. Not a good choice!!! Food is a mixed bag… some good… some not so good… we will return for the cocktails…. Wine? No way!!! Meatballs??? Eat a tennis ball!! Artichokes??? Make them yourself at home! Music is WAY too loud…. Pretty pricey tab for 7’out of 10 food. Pizza was made with top shelf ingredients but bottom crust was “ flubbery” needed a few minutes in a hot pan. This place is among the best choices for cocktails in Sayreville… but needs work to be worth multiple“

“The most delicious eggplant parmigiana sandwich I have had in almost forever!!! Just the perfect balance of everything! And the BREAD! Beyond fabulous.
