“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

The cookies are crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside, full of deep rich chocolate, and as big as a person's hand. I recommend the two chip cookies and the peanut butter dark chocolate cookie. Their lemon bread and chocolate brioche are sold out frequently, so if you have a chance, absolutely purchase them.

For 12 dollars, this bread lasted me a week, in that time it brought so much joy, did my homework, cleaned my house, lifted my depression, I ate it all and I miss it so much that this is painful to write. “I had never heard of this place, but a friend suggested it. I was looking for a new bagel shop, so I figured I'd try it out. I was first in a line that I thought was for Popup Bagels but it was for Leon's... make sure you're at the right place! Popup Bagels didn't have a line, which was bittersweet. A line doesn't necessitate quality and experience but it did make me wonder. I enjoyed the aesthetic of Popup Bagels, the music, and the service. The guy who helped me was kind and efficient. But the best part of this place is how freaking good their bagels are! Whew! They're light, hot and fresh, and tasted great! I got two sesame and one everything, with plain smear. So far, the sesame is the only one I've tried, but I'm stoked to try the everything bagel! I got these to share but they might not make it to my friends ?“

“Shoutout to the Rittenhouse location. We are at Chop with our 4 year old son who just had surgery. I figured after the day we had let’s have some cookies. I placed an order from Levain on door dash. My wife after the long day she had put in the wrong address on the door dash order and the driver called screaming at me and wouldn’t come 1.3 miles to bring them even after explaining the circumstances. Door dash refunded my whole order without me even asking and I called Levain and they went above and beyond. They gave us cookies on the house and even threw in an extra chocolate chip and delivered them to CHOP. Not only are the cookies fabulous the hospitality is second to none. I am a lifelong customer to this location and want to thank everyone at the Rittenhouse location especially Mat who went above and beyond. Thanks again!“

This is a very nice cozy bakery with comfortable seating. Great looking selection of pastries, breads and sandwiches. Today I had the scone with chocolate and an Americano coffee. Came with a small biscotti. Both were very good. Lots of take out business and many locals seem to sit in and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Several people doing business on their computers. Bathroom is spacious and clean.

Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

“Great caterer !!!! Deserves 10 stars! Fabulous four foot Charcuterie Board that served over 30 people. Salmon -Chicken- Shrimp and Cold Cuts with vegetables, cheeses, fruits and cheeses. Professional servers are top rated. Great to work with from the start of planning to day of. They did a Summer non alcoholic drink bar and an iced tea and iced coffee bar. Tasty ice cream chipwiches to top off a great party catered by La Promenade. Would recommend for your next party! “My sisters and I were there in October 2022, and we had a beautiful experience! The pastries were delicious (lemon ginger tart was our favorite) and the atmosphere and customer service were divine! “Came here for the first time today with my mom and the food was delicious, esp the coco bread, I was overwhelmed by the options and will be coming back to try the other foods that are offered such as the bread pudding which I regret not getting today :( but the patties also tasted delicious I got the chicken and beef and they tasted perfect!!

The aura with the expensive soap ? section always uplifts my mood and attitude. The Good Soaps and their brand of soap is like 3 to 4 dollars a bar which I think is fair. Fair prices in my opinion for what you get. They get the majority of my grocery money ?. Bathrooms are not hidden in a sketchy storage area either.“
