“Honest review- during my sit down at restaurant the owners and guy at register were kind people -that always goes a long way!
Food: fresh, nicely battered chicken it didn’t seem that the oil was sitting there all day- super fresh not too salty or heavy meal. I also ordered no salt on fries -that was accommodated for. Best fried kitchen that I’ve tried in the Ny/NJ area and I like the Korean twist with the sauces you can ask them to put on side. This is the type of business that local community should support given the way they are not trying to overdo it n keep it tasty at same time.
I happened to be passing thru town and saw the reviews- it’s worthy to become a restaurant chain/franchise. And it’s good prices there is no reason not to try this place especially if you’re close by. Best of luck to your business!“

“Tito the general manager was excellent. !!! Helped me out with using my Popeyes app I am new to it. He was able to save me almost 10 dollars just from his help. And he noticed I was with 3 kids. And took it upon himself to serve me a large side of Mac and cheese and made it to 3 smalls so they can eat perfect amounts. Out of all Popeyes this is the cleanest. Best service. Sunny as well help and clean our table twice.“

“The sliders are decent and large with a good varying amount of spice levels suited for anyone to enjoy. The hot mozz on the other hand, which is pretty viral, was a let down. It tastes really heavily like one of the red peppers, cayenne or paprika, and seems to just be known for a cheese pull.“

“Amazing elevated chicken. It's not just chicken, however. Oysters were superb. Salads (the scallion salad is an absolute delight) and all the sides are just superior. Little touches that seem whimsical but are just spot on - try the 24 carat nugget with caviar. Excellent star-studded champagne list; why not? Staff were just exceptional. Special shout out to the sommelier who came by and spent time even though we didn't buy a killer bottle of bubbly. We will return.“

“OMG. I wasn’t expecting the flavor explosion from this place. Even though they only serve one protein (guess), they knock it out of the park. The chicken, seasoning, and onion arrived at the table. Slipped a glove on and dug in! Ouch… it was so damn hot. After getting over that initial shock, the first piece went into my mouth… heaven! So then I expanded to try it with the seasoning… heaven-squared! As I continued devouring the chicken, my son pointed out, “try it with the onion as well.” Ok, that blew my mind… heaven-cubed! I am definitely coming back even with the crazy parking and the congestion pricing for out-of-towners.“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. “I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. “Okay so I do think this is a chicken and burger joint now combined together on the outside of the building. I really didn't notice the time for the chicken place. It was any small corner lit up attached to a burger place. With that said I am not mad at it as I ordered the bulgogi burger which was so good. Very soft and flavorful and I also ordered a order of 10-piece wings. I split it between soy, garlic and sweet and spicy. Now for me I am a Korean chicken lover and I just did it fully get the full experience of Korean Chicken meaning that in every bite it is very crunchy and it is packed with the sauce flavor on top for me. I did not get that full effect and that's really why. I love Korean f and wings that are usually double fried so they get a very nice crunch and the sauce is usually nicely styled on now. There was something wrong with the sauce but I would have liked to have a little bit more of it as well as more of a crunch. I would definitely come back here. I did notice that the burger place and the chicken plays. I have menus but a little bit different. I did order from Uber eats so I didn't really notice that at the time until I really checked out your iron. They do have the tablet where you can order from as soon as you get there. That has Uber just did for both places. However I was very happy with the wings. I got 10 pieces which I think you can order. I only ordered through the bloomberger site and they were nice sizes.“

“I just saw a sign for gamjatang (감자탕) at what looked like just a chicken wing spot. Honestly, I had zero expectations since it didn’t seem like a place that specializes in it but I was craving it so much that I gave it a shot.

“Was in the area and decided to try Bobwhite Counter at the Jacx&Co food hall. It was a good experience with server Meagan A. I went for the Truffle Aioli Chicken Burger, and the hand-cut fries with the choice of the black truffle aioli dip, and a sweet tea. Very tasty and crispy. The fries were perfect and tasted good as it is fried with tallow. Gourmet quality food in a food hall in LIC. Thank you. Will visit again

Which I did on April 19th around 11.15am (lunch), my first visit for this review was on April 17th around 6.45pm (dinner)

My first visit was great as mentioned in this review.

However, my second visit wasn't that good. Not sure if the restaurant just opened for the day at 10.30am, and the food in my opinion didn't seem like it was made fresh, maybe heated up from the previous evening's batch.

The chicken in the burger didn't seem hot enough and crispy like my first visit. And the fries were soft, not tight and crispy like my first visit.

The second visit, I had the #2 Burger with the Chimichurri Aioli, and had the fries on the side with the same flavor dip of Chimichurri Aioli.

I was kinda hungry, so I ate the burger and the fries without getting a re-do. I did however give this feedback to the server Meagan A.

I would give this second visit a 3-star based on the quality of the food, which was way different from my first experience. I think maybe the kitchen cooks up a fresh batch from 3-4pm for the afternoon/night, as I saw the kitchen crew cooking around that time.

The service crew still deserves a 5-star.

I hope the management can look into this, so that I will not be disappointed in my next visit, whether for lunch or dinner.

Otherwise, I may then choose to go around dinner time as opposed to the brunch/lunch hours.

“Alex you were missed . So im visiting from Virginia and the same person who took my order 2 years ago was still here lol. He took it upon himself to help the deaf customers that was in front of me and bring their order to them because he knew they wouldnt hear. He’s so sweet“

“Been here many times, chicken plate is better than chicken sandwich. However there is only 1 desert on the menu, key lime pie. It was my birthday so my buddy went to buy cookies. When he came in, the bouncer made it a point to tell him not to eat the cookies inside. We didn't listen. The bouncer came over and asked us again not to eat the cookies inside. We promised not to. But we didn't listen, we ate all the cookies. But we made a mistake, we left the box open in the bag. He came back over, said to us that he saw the box was open, and that if he caught us eating cookies, he would kick us out. It was our final warning but it was too late, they were already gone. 10/10 will laugh about this for a long time“

“Honestly the chicken was better than expected and i loved their pick up window where i was able to easily walk up to pick up my togo. It's a small spot so if you work nearby just grab and go. Price is a real bargain ad well. But man the food is HEAVY! I was hungry but only could eat half the chicken on mac n cheese. Next time imma try fries io mac and cheese. My first time and it was very memorable.“
