“My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Hens & Honey Shoppe for Swedesboro, our 136th town.

We had seen this place pop up on our social media feeds, and couldn't wait to try it when we came to town. (Check out their Instagram for great coffee pics and the funny Reels the crew makes.) Valerie & the H&H team exceeded expectations! First off, the shop itself is a work of art with lots of insta-photo-friendly decor.

The iced coffee flight is a must. It's what we came for. We got to try the Fall Special line up (Jack O, Pecan Lane, Flannel Jacket, and Harvest Moon).

It's not just a coffee shop though. The gourmet toasts they offer make for some of the most unique & delicious breakfast or brunch options I've seen. We tried the Smoked Salmon and Bourbon Sweet Honey toasts. WOW! Each of these were a party in our mouths. If we lived close enough, we'd come back more often to try all the toasts out!

The place gets busy, so you might have a wait, but it's WELL worth it.

Disclaimer: I'm writing this review almost a year after we first visited, and the shop has expanded to a larger space in the same plaza that looks just as cool. Can't wait to swing by again between visits to other towns our next time in Gloucester county! (As of Oct 2024, 243 Jersey towns visited, 321 to go!)“

“Nom Nam House is a delightful gem that transports you straight to Vietnam with every bite. It is real authentic vietnamese food and is a family owned restaurant. The Banh Mi + Pho here is simply outstanding! The broth is rich and aromatic, simmered to perfection with a blend of spices that creates a comforting depth of flavor. Each bowl is a hearty meal that warms the soul. The banh mi is equally impressive. The baguette is crisped to perfection holding a delicious array of fillings.“

“Absolutely love this bakery! They offer handmade treats that you won’t just find at any grocery store bakery, but instead a real nice and upscale mini bakery. Their menu items often change, incorporating new and exciting ideas often. Some yummy ones that I tried are tiramisu, pavlova, caramel cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake, fruit tarts, and more! They also offer unique beverages such as a hibiscus flavored lemonade and a minty sprite. Not to mention they also offer crepes which I have yet to try but I bet they’re delicious.“

“10/10 do recommend. Excellent pup cup served. Filled to the top and swirled with love. Non dairy so belly doesn’t get upset. Mom loves their coffee and generally picks up some baked goods as well. I can generally convince her to share. My favorite is the lemon cake.“

“Munchkins are super fresh and they hooked me up real nice ( its the best surprise when dunkin does that). My sandwich was hot and tasted right. And my iced cappuccino doesn't taste watered down. Actually has the strong taste of coffee I love. Definitely one of the better Dunkins around.“

“The food and Boba are so tasty, if you go you must get the chicken gyosas. I rated the food a 4 though because sometimes when I get drinks, they need a bit more flavor. Like the fruity flurry and coffee tasted a but plain, but other than that the food is amazing. On the tack with the snacks, there is mochi too and the chocolate flavor is to die for. All the food is a must-have for a low price. The service is quick and very nice too. The atmosphere is also so great because they have comfy sofas and games to play which is really fun. This is definitely my go to place for a quick drink or a place to hang out with friends.

“Small Dunkin doesn't have a drive-through but great staff. Food and drinks are made perfect. Always get what I ask for with the proper toppings and flavors. I've been to several other and something is always messed up. Definitely a good Dunkin' to go to if you want your drinks made like they should be. It's in Delaware, so no tax another perk.“

“I like that the Edgmont Dunkin' Donuts has a drive-thru. My dog is with me all the time and I do not like to leave her in the car even for a quick coffee pick-up. The Wake-Up Wrap with sausage is delicious and of course Dunkin' Donuts coffee is consistently good.“

“We had my husband’s surprise 30th birthday party and not only was the staff wonderful, the space was perfect! The best thing was that it’s not just beer. The last time I was there, I was hoping they’d maybe have a plum danish in stock - no luck - but the cashier was super kind for accommodating me with another pastry. “I literally drive out of my way just to go to this location. The managers are very nice and understanding and are willing to make it right if you have an issue. My favorite barista is definitely sophie she really goes above and beyond for the customers and is always pleasant. You can just tell that she actually cares about her job and the customers that come in. that girl definetly deserves a raise!!!“

“I just came here around 11:30 1/27 and this woman (I already forget her name, so stressed about flying, I think Melissa. I think a higher level employee) made me a traditional cappuccino or Macchiato or whatever. I asked for all foam no milk with my espresso and she made the most beautiful coffee. So professional. 10/5 stars. Great job 👏 great price, especially for airport. I paid $6 for my drink which also had an extra shot.

Duncan needs to raise the limit on how much you can tip on a card because you have people out here giving excellent service.“
