“Their lamb/beef gyro was really good. The bowl was stuffed! The wait was a bit long though, almost 25+ minutes just to get to order, and sometimes other people (I assume related) just cut in to throw in 5 or 10 other orders. The food came out very fast at least and I enjoyed my bowl. I see they have an online ordering site, so I may try that next time to reduce the wait. Would love to try the other items.“

“We came here on a recommendation from a good friend. We were on-time for our reservation but had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. Another party that had a reservation at the same time as us, received notification from the restaurant that their reservation was running late. We did not receive a notification from the restaurant. The restaurant does not have a waiting area, it is a very tight space. The owner told us to wait outside , which wasn't nice... it was cold and they should have a waiting area. They could have one if they moved some furniture around. Once seated the food and service were excellent. The dining area was very tight and the music was too loud , we were unable to hear each other across the table. We like to enjoy our company/conversation. This was very difficult. We eat out a lot in NYC but we won't be coming back here.“

“Whoa! The food was amazing! Im pescatarian, so I had the fish, and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh. There was a humus plate with 3 different flavors, and the cucumbers were beautifully decorated around them. I must have eaten all of the cucumbers. In some restaurants, a fresh cucumber can be hard to come by. The fish arrived on a bed sautéed spinach, WOW ❤️❤️. The sliced pita bread with the humus was addictive. I definitely ate way more than I should have. While I dont eat meat, the other folks I was dining with said the chicken and beef options were just as delicious. It was family style, so we had lots of options. The restaurant is small but quaint, and the customer service was amazing. The food came out quickly, and there were about 13 of us. We had a reservation for 1 pm on a Thursday, and it was not crowded.

There isn't a lot of space to move around, so I would be conscious of carrying large bags or strollers.“

After placing the order Maria actually called to help me to make recommendations to improve our selection and quantities based on the number of people we were hosting. I really appreciated this level of service. Delivery was on time and set up was great. And most importantly the food was fresh, healthy and delicious. Our staff kept commenting on how much they enjoyed it and inquired where I had ordered from. I know we’ll be placing future orders soon! Highly recommend them for your catering needs also!“

Chicken is crispy and nice, and the Bambi and Greek Salads are fire. Service is really really good too, and personally get a kick out of the door to the basement being covered by the trash can lol.

Had lamb souvlaki (only meat) before and today had pork souvlaki (only meat) and both were grilled to perfection, fresh, juicy and perfectly spiced. “This is my dream diner. Breakfast is my favorite meal and Madison delivers. Many other reviewers complained about the prices. The prices may be slightly higher ($2-$3?) than other places but you get what you pay for. First, the place is immaculate. Everything shines like a mirror. Second, the food is cooked by a certain kind of professional. I'll compare to another cafe nearby that offers a load of grease with your food. Not here. My hash browns were crispy, fluffy, perfect. Eggs, again perfection. The coffee was not as good as it could be (Lavazza please), but more than drinkable. I'm thinking of moving to NYC. Now I'm looking near The Madison as I'll spend most of my mornings there.“
