“I only ate one burger, but it was the best burger I've ever had. The only downside is that the top bun was fine, but the bottom bun was so wet that it was very difficult to hold by hand. If you go to Central Park, you must eat it. After eating, your hands will be covered in grease, so be sure to take something like wet wipes with you. I had a hard time without it.“

Where to begin??!! First off the food was delicious - started with well poured cocktails to accompany our Pikilia (we especially loved the spicy feta!), followed by the most scrumptiously seasoned lamb chops (Paidakia) EVER, and ended with heavenly home cooked Milfei Napoleon! (With a little extra to take home, FAB!). Our server Tony was great, yet meeting Yiannis and Lia, and taking their recommendations, put this evening over the top! “This is my dream diner. Breakfast is my favorite meal and Madison delivers. Many other reviewers complained about the prices. The prices may be slightly higher ($2-$3?) than other places but you get what you pay for. First, the place is immaculate. Everything shines like a mirror. Second, the food is cooked by a certain kind of professional. I'll compare to another cafe nearby that offers a load of grease with your food. Not here. My hash browns were crispy, fluffy, perfect. Eggs, again perfection. The coffee was not as good as it could be (Lavazza please), but more than drinkable. I'm thinking of moving to NYC. Now I'm looking near The Madison as I'll spend most of my mornings there.“

Chicken is crispy and nice, and the Bambi and Greek Salads are fire. Service is really really good too, and personally get a kick out of the door to the basement being covered by the trash can lol.

He called ahead of time and asked if we needed anything to keep the food warm. Then he set up all of the food for us and even gave us some tips on the best way to eat the food. “WOW!!! Best spinach pie ever! My wife spent time living in Greece and ate a spinach pie every day for lunch. She has been trying to find a similar pie for me to enjoy since I was not there. We have had spinach pies from the West coast to NYC. Here we found the best she has ever had and me as well. “I walked in here after a long shift at the ER. I was so tired and was greeted by this lovely smiling woman. She explained the entire menu to me. I needed it. I asked for whatever her favorites were, and took home the platter. She was so incredibly kind!! Then I took home my food and it was delicious. Will definitely be returning.
