“My mom and I were visiting from south texas and absolutely loved it. The people, which seemed like regulars were so welcoming and genuine (which is an experience based opinion) and the food was great. We came here without an idea of where to eat and this place exceeded our expectations. If I'm ever on the east coast again I plan to come back and recommend friends/family. Andrew was our server and did great, absolutely zero complaints. Check it out if you haven't ??“

“On vacation as a joke, we searched for "the worst bar near me" which led us to this amazing little place. We had the absolute best food! The waitstaff was attentive, fun, and helpful. Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. If these Wisconsintes find ourselves in Jersey City again, we will absolutely make a dedicated return to the Wurstbar!“

“We have driven by this place a million times and decided to visit it yesterday. The place looks small from the outside, but it's very big inside. In all, there were four separate areas..the bar at the front with some seating, then an open area where a band was setting up, then a dining area with tables, and all the way in the back, a play room with old school pin ball machines and arcade games. So nostalgic. There were cassette tapes and a large boom box up on the wall, colorful graffiti with Wu-Tang quotes, and Pac Man murals all around the room. We didn't stay long at all, just had a couple of drinks, but will be coming back when we have more time.

“Grove Station is a cool place. It is welcoming to the straight and LGBTQ+ community. I had several beers and lively conversation with other patrons at the bar. I didn't sample the food as I was not hungry so I can't comment, However I did look at the menu and there were lots of great choices. It's directly across from the Grove Street PATH station so it's easy to get to. It is not a large place but I kind of liked the intimate atmosphere. There is also outdoor seating with a covering. A good chill place to hang out for me. I posted a pic of a cool patron I met and talked to. We exchanged numbers and stay in touch now. I also posted the menu.“

I always get the basics the first time I eat at an Italian joint—I figure if they can’t do chicken parm, what use are they….big portions, moist, with a distinct red sauces-in a good way.The staff was super attentive, but we went early and this place is obviously an event/party type place—tons of beer on tap, a stage, etc. the waiter said the chef has been there for 20+ years, and it showed. “This place has one of the best burgers on the planet, and it is available with a gluten free bun.

The Moran’s burger is easily the best in Hoboken. The poutine is excellent, nachos are good.

All the staff, including the manager, were so wonderfully pleasant and eager to provide considerate service. Loved the atmosphere this restaurant added to the hotel and my short visit to the area. Definitely recommend!“
