“I come here pretty often but cannot claim to have explored the menu thoroughly. I absolutely love their tteokbokki, which is just lovely: great portion size, perfect texture, and the subtle spice and sweet flavor of the sauce. Amazing with the addition of cheese.

I’ve also tried the tofu bowl, which I have not bothered with again, as well as the kimbap on numerous occasions, which is a great option for a snack or light lunch. The fried dumplings are super crispy and delicious.

I also almost always get a side of kimchi, which is a good size for the price and has a nice flavor and kick to it.

100% would recommend; I mostly get takeout, but the dine-in seating area is a nice setup. Sometimes they have a BOGO deal on the tteokbokki and it absolutely makes my day every time.“

“I have been coming to Ondo since their soft opening and have always had a great experience. Their food is consistently excellent, and they also have some of the best cocktails.

I recently tried their tasting menu and was pleasantly impressed by the quality, creativity, and flavors of each course.

The Korean melon konguksu was the highlight of the meal for me. It was unique yet still felt authentic. The gochujang octopus romesco was also absolutely delicious!

Their desserts are great too. I especially love the injeolmi tart. It has the perfect balance of sweetness!“

“Food: I ordered take-out and the food was great. Fried chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. The sauce was not overly salty and super flavorful. The beef rice bowl has decent portion with enough spicy sauce for me to add more veggies at home.

Service: they called me to confirm what sauce I wanted as I forgot to select it on the app. The staff at front desk was super nice and polite.

Vibe: It was not peak hours when I went. The environment was nice and clean. When I was waiting in the store, the music was not super loud which I appreciated.

“Might be a Staten Island hidden gem because food here was GOOD. The cold noodles were exactly what my friends and I needed after a long day out in the heat. They also pack the bowl with EXTRA toppings because tell me why three girls barely finished the one bowl. I regretted ordering extra lamb skewers (which tasted delicious) because I was so full from the cold noodles. The salad we ordered was so good too!! My first time trying veal tongue and it did not disappoint.

“During my visits, I experience good customer service; employees are kind. This establishment, in my experience, more frequently than not, has a tasty seltzer water. Yet, not finding the seltzer water available on a most recent visit, I decide on Beet & Carrot juice. The drink is smooth, somewhat sweet though not sharply sweet. The establishment is chill, like a sit and read a physical newspaper joint before the train comes fusing with a grab-and-go pop in for a moment chill type cafe. The establishment seems to have minimal seating for about four though plenty of standing room. The establishment accepts different forms of payment.“

“This was our very first time ordering food from this Korean restaurant (Pelicana Chicken). We were looking for a new fried chicken spot and I think we found it! The fried chicken could stand on its own without any sauce and was extremely delicious. The shrimp was also pretty excellent.

The food was solid—flavorful, though a little heavy on the sauce. Still hit the spot. Parking isn’t great, but that’s pretty much the norm around here. You order on a big touchscreen, and the food comes out pretty quick. Not a ton of seating since it’s more of a takeout joint, but it gets the job done.“

“I absolutely love this place. I have a very bad case of long covid since October 2021 where almost everything smells and tastes rotten or sickly sweet. I am able to eat the hot pot miso ramen soup with a lot of different vegetables, and I can have the chocolate cake/cupcakes. So delicious! I can also eat the white rice and the grilled pineapples. Before finding out that I can have all of this, I was losing a massive amount of weight, thank God for the few things that I can have here, I’m able to maintain my weight now. I just tend to go a bit crazy with what I can eat because I’m so hungry from not really eating the other days. The workers are amazing. The manager, Justin is really nice and very funny. The owner Darin is also very nice. Love the atmosphere and the music, I still can’t eat the other things and the smells from the other foods still bother me but I deal with it just so I can eat what I’m actually enjoying there. I had the spicy chicken cupbap, and it was excellent, easily one of my favorite dishes from this visit. The flavors were well balanced, and the spice level was just right. My wife ordered the spicy seafood ramen and really enjoyed it. The broth was rich, flavorful, and satisfying.

Clean, well lit, open environment, offering plenty of seating and some fun selfie backgrounds.

We ordered tacos (of course). Nick ordered the bulgogi tacos and I had a tofu taco and a bistec taco. Everything we had was exceptional. They also provide an amazing green salsa, but to be honest the tacos really don’t need it, they have so much flavor! We are so glad we gave this place a try and recommend you do too!“

“Located in Court A Level 1 of American Dream mall, this H Mart is the cleanest and prettiest among the ones around the area. It is not as big as some of the other individual store locations, aisles and checkout lanes are thinner. The store is open all 365 days of the year.

They still got most of inventory of Korean groceries, vegetables, fruits, snacks, candies, kitchenware, small toys and all other things we see find usually in H Marts. They have the meat and seafood stations as well. The food court is separate, right in front of the entrance of store.

Lots of associates walk around the store to keep it clean and tidy. I went in to buy couple of drinks from the store. There were multiple checkout lanes open. Didn’t have to wait too long, was quick and easy.“
