“This place has incredible pizza. All of their food is amazing though. They do have two locations. The original spot is on Union Ave in Rutherford, and its a bigger full size restraunt. This North Arlington location is the same, but smaller, with the same GEEAR FOOD. The staff at both locations is a pleasure to deal with, and you really can't go wrong with giving them a try!!!

“First of all I want to get something straight….I would recommend it 100000000% IF MY DAD STILL WAS THERE TONY DIPIAZZA!! It’s not the same since he left and never will be!!! When I was there with my family today showing 3 of my children and my boyfriend where I basically spent most of my childhood helping out my father especially on weekends the guy behind the counter was rude!! At first he was alright but he seemed annoyed and I’m not sorry I was explaining to my children the history of the place and it breaks my heart to know there is such crappy customer service there!! Anyone who knows who the original owners are of this place or worked for my dad would understand why I say that ! On that note I don’t plan on going back again at least for a while if that I enjoy showing my kids where I grew up but I’m highly disappointed in the food and service. Also no toilet paper in the bathroom or napkins in the napkin holders and the guy didn’t wash his hands when he touched money then made. Food and he put the money on the counter where he makes the pizza that’s so very unprofessional and insanitary!!“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“San Sabino in New York gets a solid 4 out of 5 from me. The food was tasty and fresh and compared to their sister restaurant is definitely more fish forward. I made a point to try some of their most popular dishes. The lobster ravioli was flavorful and well executed. The cheese appetizer was balanced and nicely presented, though I would probably pass on it next time. The star of the night was the spicy tuna appetizer, which really stood out in both flavor and texture. The decor is beautiful and creates a great atmosphere, and the service was friendly throughout the meal. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.“

“Is very hard to find a good quality and real pasta in NYC. Pasta cacio Peppe and puttanesca were very good and soooo delicious. Everything was very fresh. “Went for an early dinner like 4:30 pm for a pizza, we were the only ones in there.

As expected service was super attentive and very friendly and kind.

I ordered the honey pepperoni pizza. I ate the whole thing minus a few crusts. The sauce was delicious.

The place was very beautiful inside and they had a very clean bathroom.

“I really came fully prepared to hate on this place, most of all because C picked it, but also because it is hyped to death. Further hatred materialized when I waited in line for our reservation and felt like a schmuck.

Then I realized the line wasn't for people with reservations, I went inside, we were seated immediately, our waiter was fabulous, the food was fabulous, and the wine was fabulous. Everything was phenomenal and extra, extra good.“

“This place really lived up to the hype - all the food was fantastic esp the ricotta crostina, meatballs, rigatoni, and the rice balls, but everything was above average. Additionally service was great, and very lively fun atmosphere, plus it was really warm given how cold its been recently. All and all i think its a great place to take a group of 8 or more for reasonably priced italian food that has above average taste. I will definitely be back.“

As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. “I have Celiac's disease and need to be GF for life. I loved that they had gf appetizers. I got the GF calamari and shared it with the table . No one complained about it being GF. I had the chicken parm with the gf pasta. It was delicious. I wish I had time to try the GF desserts but I had to catch a train back to Albany. This restaurant is the Best GF Italian in NYC. Will definitely come back next time I am in the city!“
