“This place has incredible pizza. All of their food is amazing though. They do have two locations. The original spot is on Union Ave in Rutherford, and its a bigger full size restraunt. This North Arlington location is the same, but smaller, with the same GEEAR FOOD. The staff at both locations is a pleasure to deal with, and you really can't go wrong with giving them a try!!!

“First of all I want to get something straight….I would recommend it 100000000% IF MY DAD STILL WAS THERE TONY DIPIAZZA!! It’s not the same since he left and never will be!!! When I was there with my family today showing 3 of my children and my boyfriend where I basically spent most of my childhood helping out my father especially on weekends the guy behind the counter was rude!! At first he was alright but he seemed annoyed and I’m not sorry I was explaining to my children the history of the place and it breaks my heart to know there is such crappy customer service there!! Anyone who knows who the original owners are of this place or worked for my dad would understand why I say that ! On that note I don’t plan on going back again at least for a while if that I enjoy showing my kids where I grew up but I’m highly disappointed in the food and service. Also no toilet paper in the bathroom or napkins in the napkin holders and the guy didn’t wash his hands when he touched money then made. Food and he put the money on the counter where he makes the pizza that’s so very unprofessional and insanitary!!“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“I really came fully prepared to hate on this place, most of all because C picked it, but also because it is hyped to death. Further hatred materialized when I waited in line for our reservation and felt like a schmuck.

Then I realized the line wasn't for people with reservations, I went inside, we were seated immediately, our waiter was fabulous, the food was fabulous, and the wine was fabulous. Everything was phenomenal and extra, extra good.“

“This place really lived up to the hype - all the food was fantastic esp the ricotta crostina, meatballs, rigatoni, and the rice balls, but everything was above average. Additionally service was great, and very lively fun atmosphere, plus it was really warm given how cold its been recently. All and all i think its a great place to take a group of 8 or more for reasonably priced italian food that has above average taste. I will definitely be back.“

I appreciate Kimika’s creative menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Our waitress Kara/Cara was so friendly and helpful. I started with a Spritz that I think could’ve used some more bubbles, but the flavors were on point. The food was good but I felt like there could’ve been a bit more flavor. We tried the Truffle Carbonara, Soy Butter Bigoli, and Eggplant Katsu - I think the Bigoli was my favorite (think elevated lo mien). For dessert, we tried the lava cake, matcha French toast (would get it with ice cream if I were to over come again) and the Nutella Bombolocini (very creative - think mochi stuffed with Nutella).
Overall, I loved the concept of Kimika and the service, but I think there could’ve been just a tad more flavor in some of our dishes. Definitely a place to try once!“

As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“Loved this small 100 year old Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village. The food was delish, but even better than the food was the atmosphere and the staff. Our waiter was Tony. Not only was he funny, he knew his pasta! We felt like old friends by the time we left! The bartender was not only beautiful to look at, he too treated us like old friends! While they were offering a price fixe menu, they also offered their regular menu, and allowed each diner to pick and choose from both menus, giving us all so many delicious options. “We wound up at Maestro for a birthday celebration. The service was excellent. The food was very good. Good wine selection. Delicious hot bread (from the menu). The pastas were al dente perfection. The swing seats were super comfortable, and a fun decor touch. This restaurant is rustically casual, more brightly lit than most (I might have preferred it a touch darker at dinner time, tbh), and the noise level was low (although it was only about half full when we were there, so I can't say what it's like when full). When no one at our table asked for dessert, they brought us a tiramisu with a candle in it, and didn't charge us, which was a super-lovely gesture. I'd definitely recommend Maestro for a fun date, a group of four for dinner, or any casual meal where you want great service and authentic Italian pastas and wine, in a casual environment.“

Service was more efficient than overly friendly. I’d rate the food 4.5/5 although we didn’t find the tiramisu especially memorable. Less desirable tables near the kitchen and WC (reserved for smaller parties) lacked the ambiance of the main room.
