“This place is GREAT!

We were craving for some ttukbokki and kimbop, decided to try for a new place.

Their kimbop is delicious, great fillings and well seasoned seaweed.

Ttukbokki came out nice and hot. Rice cake was nicely cooked and seasoned. But come on, look at the boiled egg, it’s not one of those overcooked yolk!!

Ramyun and udon was also delicious, noodles were done jussssssst right. I will admit that I was a little thrown off by mixed greens on ramyun.

Donkatsu was one of the best as well. Pork was just the right amount of thickness and crispy.

I also don’t feel like crap after eating the food there, not over seasoned with high sodium or MSG.

People were also great there, highly highly recommend it!“

“I wasn't going to share this place with anyone because I don't want it to get crowded but I have to bc I love it so much. Presenting my new watering hole in Bergen! The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!“

“My absolute favorite place!“

“This place has been around for over two years, but I finally got to visit. Honestly, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a Korean spot where even the kimchi impressed me this much. The fresh kimchi tasted just like something my mom would make!

I thought the prices were a bit high compared to spots nearby, but the food was so good that I’m glad I came. After enjoying the gamjatang, I even came back for the ajusshi gukbap because it was that good!“

“I came here one night to try for dinner with a group of friends. I really enjoyed the noodles here! My friends ordered the clam soup with kalgusuk, and the noodles are at a perfect texture and the serving size was a lot. I would say good to share! I ordered the mandu soup with rice on the side, flavor was perfect! The fried dumplings was also nice, and it was great to share. Great kimchi as well!“

“I recently visited Donghae. and it was an amazing experience. The seafood is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the dishes are beautifully presented. The staff are very friendly and attentive, making the whole meal enjoyable. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion. “SB K-BBQ was recommended to me by a close friend, and it absolutely delivered. After visiting Seoul and Jeju this past April, my family and I had been craving authentic Korean BBQ—and this place brought us right back.

The quality of the meat is outstanding. The moksal (pork neck) and samgyeopsal (pork belly) are cut thick—just as thick, if not thicker, than what we had in Korea. Grilled over real charcoal, the flavor is rich and smoky, enhancing every bite.

They also offer perilla leaves for your ssam wraps, which is a detail I truly appreciate and rarely find at K-BBQ spots in the U.S.

Even though we live in Philadelphia and it’s over a 2-hour drive, we’ve already made the trip twice—that’s how good it is. If you’re craving a taste of Korea, SB K-BBQ is more than worth the journey. Highly recommended!“

“My fav hot pot spot in the area!

Good choices of veggies, workers add more and rotate them alot.

Employees are nice and helpful. The most notable for me is the Asian female, always see her helping with such a nice vibe. Hope her pillow is cold on both sides.

“I went there by myself and order the grilled mackerel and seafood tofu soup combo. Everything tasted great. The seafood tofu soup was flavorful and not too spicy. I love the side dishes too. I wish I had a bigger stomach to finish everything. I saw other tables doing KBBQ, the meats seemed to be of high quality and offers table side service. The service staff were very attentive.“

“This restaurant takes your order like fast food, but with Korean food, and the system is so easy. The food comes out relatively quickly for Korean cuisine.

I always get the mul naengmyeon and pork combo, perfect for the summer.

The vibe is nice and quiet, and while it might get busy, people come in and out fast.“

“The Nagasaki Champon is our new favorite. My wife and I had a very pleasant Sunday dinner. Haven’t had a meal this good in a long time. We were supposed to have dinner here some few weeks ago but the Fort Lee-Pal Park traffic congestion gets really bad. Last time we were here was in 2021!!. Now we can’t wait to go back. “I CRAVE the food here. My friends and I took Uber from Manhattan to Fort Lee just so we can have the duck soup and the soy marinated crabs. It was beyond delicious. I had duck soup before and I had marinated crabs before, but here just tasted different. They were so good. The portion was amazing with the price.

“The best authentic Korean restaurant hands down! The food is always delicious every single time. My two year old daughter also loves it just as much as I do. Great fast service. The Korean bbq ribs, raw marinated crab, and spicy udon octopus is a must every time I go. Not to mention their kimchi is the best I’ve ever had. The owners always greeting us with a smile. “Visit the bakery yesterday, and it was worth every dollar I spend. The Pecan cream ring tasted just how I remembered when I was a kid. I also bought one double chocolate cookie, which was amazing!! I wish I bough more. The staff was super nice and helpful. I grew up in pal park, and the bakery was always the go to spot for our desserts. Keep it going and no slacking on the deliciousness. “Probably the best Korean Food found in NJ. I have frequently bought the Lunch Menu for my Kid and I was never disappointed. They prepare a various kinds of menu each day. I strongly encourage you to try this place if you’re looking for the best Korean Foods.“

“My mom's work was always so close to totowa since more than 20 years ago before they moved to this address. My mom would always buy me dinner here while i wait for her after school to go home. And so Totowa bunsik had a special place close to my heart. It just.. tasted like home for me. But a few years ago, I ordered 2 take out items and paid well over $50 - i dont know.. i just felt like i was betrayed by a childhood friend.

After years, my wife asked to give it another chance and im glad I did. Price has actually went down since then and the amount of food, quality, the taste all feels reasonable again. I'll be back for cheese donkatsu for sure.“

“I’ve tried in store and takeout (Jjajangmyeon, jjampong, 탕수육, 깐풍새우). The food is amazing and portions are okay compared to the price. The only thing is when it gets really busy like around noon, it gets very crowded in the small space.“

“I come across this place through Yelp and the presentation of the bingsu looks really pretty there. However, it looks like they don't do that pretty presentation anymore. It's kinda expensive but the portion is huge; like this 'small' size can feed 3-4 people. This one has mango, cheesecake bites, mochi, and condensed milk. The cheesecake bites can feel a bit too much after a couple bites.“

“Pretty expensive. Sliced lox on a plain bagel, and a bacon Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll, and hot coffee ran me $30. I get it though. Paying staff a living wage and ingredient inflation is killing small businesses. At least it was very delicious. The employees are very consistent as well. “For what I ordered (steamed chicken with broccoli - garlic sauce on the side for dipping as you like - or don't), it's very good. The chicken when steamed (if it is good) is how you can measure if the restaurant is any good and it defintely passed the test. Most other Chinese restaurants chicken when steamed (with no sauce on it and eaten) will taste gamey and just not edible in my book. This was NOT the case.
Other than that, the parking is non existent in the later hours till closing in front of the restaurant as the parking is shared with tenants of the building above and other restaurants in the same location. Not good for being on route 5 I can assure you, but still doable.
Lastly, I know it's a Chinese restaurant, but they rush you off the phone when ordering without you finishing a thought or a sentence. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT.
Have one more minute of patience and you might make more money per order. An extreme turn off when ordering anywhere really.
Lastly, NO DELIVERY.

“Want to eat amazing Korean Food? Well this is hands down the place. This is my GO-TO Korean spot. I drive 30 minutes at least twice a week to eat here. Amazing food, awesome customer service and well priced. My usual order is the Cheese Rice Cakes and Tuna Roll ❤️“

“Good place to chill and get bubble tea after spa at King Spa! Huge interior to chill and relax! Location: It is located in Palisades Park. The store is big with a lot of seating! The interior is nice and you can feel that you want to study inside. Service: not that much interaction, i just ordered and go. Food: I only ordered BLACK SESAME BUBBLE TEA: it was good, and unlike other slushies that after a while you lost the taste. This one until the end you can taste the black sesame. They have wide variety of breads too, and I think they are good. Price rating: 5/10, not that bad. I will go there after spending my whole day at King Spa! Nice store to chill and relax.“

“Was here 3 weeks ago with 4 girlfriends. The food we ordered were delicious and loved that the skewers rotated itself once they were placed.

If you are plan on eating a lot of skewers (particularly lamb) I suggest coming in pairs or small group of 3. While the menu states there's a minimum piece order, it doesn't tell you, you are also capped at a certain amount of pieces when you order certain cuts (i believe it was lamb and beef?)

There was one dish in particular I loved and still think about - I don't remember the name but it was deep fried red chili and pork. It was so goooood! The owner was kind and explained when we asked why buy it would've just been nice to know at the very beginning or see it on the menu for full transparency because it caught us all off guard.

All in all, I would definitely go back and cap it to 3 people max so we can have the full skewer experience.“

“I ordered it for delivery a few times, and the taste of the sauce and seasoning were just right for my taste, so I plan to order it again.

-What I liked the most were Nanjawans and Yoo Sanseul. The Yusanseul was delicious as it came out exactly as I expected, and the Nanjawanse was a bit perplexed by its appearance as the individual pieces of meat were more round-shaped than I expected, but the sticky meat inside and soft texture on the outside went well with the sauce. I enjoyed it.
-I didn't enjoy the Jjajangmyeon and Kkanpunggi as much as I did, but since I live about an hour away from delivery, I think there was nothing I could do physically to prevent the noodles from going bad or the batter from becoming mushy.“

“I frequently order from The BBQ location in Palisades Park after my morning gym session. There are many choices for good Korean style fried chicken but i find BBQ’s to have the perfect blend of crispy/flaky on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. My personal favorite chicken place-ordering online 20 min before my gym session ends ensures a ready to go pick up with no wait time. Easy and convenient.“
