The meats (I had the pork chop, my dad the vineyard chicken) were cooked to perfection....juicy and tender. My favorite part was that the kids meals came with green beans! Finally, something other than a beige kids menu. And no chicken fingers. My kids were forced to diversify, and they loved every bite. They had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and burger. Great family-friendly option for a classy dining experience.“

I ordered a medium well ribeye that was more well than medium, & the truffle crust didn't seasoned the steak enough. I didn't send the steak back because I didn't want to cause any issues. I took the steak home and seasoned it. Steaks I've had from Ruth's Chris in the past were better tasting. This time I was underwhelmed.“

They were very accommodating for our group of six, but I strongly recommend making a reservation!The evening felt easy and enjoyable from start to finish. “I'm always on the hunt for tasty gluten-free pancakes...and Columns Wine Bar serves it for brekkie! I had the Buckwheat Griddle Cake with apples / honey caramel-like butter. The pancake was light and fluffy sweetened by the apple topping. I still poured syrup all over lol! Others in my party had the Bruleed French Toast which looked amazing, and the toast & scramble. We all fought over the very tasty Patatas Bravas. Needless to say, we were quite happily stuffed. Who knew a wine bar can deliver delicious breakfast!“

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. “Very good place for Neapolitan-style pizza. We started off with grilled artichoke hearts with lemon vinaigrette & shaved pecorino toscano - a nice antipasto - and then shared two pizzas: the spicy Picca (tomato sauce, fontina, hot sausage, red onions, chillies) and the Norma (tomato sauce, fried eggplant, ricotta, pecorino, garlic & basil).

Both were really good - with soft, pillowy, lightly-charred Neapolitan-style crust - but the zesty Picca had the edge (the Norma was slightly bland / under seasoned).

Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. “So my Lenten sacrifice included all things that look good, taste good & make me feel good. So last night after an intense interpersonal interaction earlier in the day I headed to Yatenga. I was greeted by the lovely Todd the bar man (one of the things that look good)who greeted warmly and took my order. He returned with my preferred cocktail-The Lou Lou! The fact that he remembered made me feel like a Prince (only a Prince as he’s a King). I started my meal with the Cauliflower soup which was well flavored and simply delicious. It was so good it was enough to turn a carnivore into a vegetarian! Then I had the Chicken Francaise which was prepared to perfection. The accompanying sauce was smooth and also highly flavored. The chicken breast’s were tender & the texture was as if the chicken had just been sacrificed moments before. The vegetables of haricot verts and carrots were perfectly al dente. And my dessert of Tart Tartin could not have been better; nice flaky crust and perfectly sweetened! In the past 13 years I have not patronized another restaurant in Harlem in particular and NYC in general. Why? Because I don’t have the confidence that I will be as well treated and cared for and well-fed as I am at Yatenga. The fact that Todd the barman does double duty as a server and does it affably is one major reason I keep going back. The management must be superior-why else would the staff be so equally superior. I travel a lot for work & thusly try to avoid restaurants in other towns and villages because I know they’re not Yatenga.“

“Very cozy spot. Only a few tables and bar seating inside and a few tables outside. Our server Jacqueline was very friendly and attentive. We ordered their meatballs to start which were very flavorful and tender. You get 5 per order. They give you an order of bread to start also with EVOO and balsamic vinegar.
For the drinks they have a good selection of wines and about 3 beers on the menu. They only do an aperol spritz for a cocktail.
We didn’t do any pastas. We ordered 2 personal pies for the entrees. The diavola which is a spicy pepperoni pie and a pepperoni Italian sausage and onion pie. Both were delicious. My only gripe with the pizza was that it was greasy and very floppy in the middle. We had an excellent time and definitely will go back to try the pastas.“

“By far my fave kbbq spot. The meats are high quality and the servers are always very friendly. Their marinated short ribs and house special spicy pork are my absolute faves. Love how the charcoal flavor gets into the meat. Their mool nengmyun (buckwheat noodles in a cold broth) compliments their bbq meats really well, and their broth is the real deal. The Korean-style beef tartare (over seasoned sushi rice) is phenomenal and my must-eat every time I go.“

What I loved the most was its coherence and purpose: if you want your coffee to go, you need to bring your own cup; they even sell products like milk in returnable glass bottles. 🌿 A truly genuine commitment to the planet!
