“Fantastic restaurant. The best ribs ,brisket and pulled pork I ever had. you won't leave hungry no matter what you order. the sides are also delicious: we sampled caramelized carrots/string beans, mac & cheese, slaw, smoked red beans, and broccoli...all excellent. Friendly staff and excellent service. No liquor license yet but nice selection of other drinks. Pleasant "log cabin" atmosphere. Can't think of a negative. Definitely a GO TO restaurant.“

“Being an avid fan of Caribbean food especially the island food that is from Jamaica and Trinidad and also the fact that I'm a New Yorker. The stage is always set up to get the best Jamaican food. From Queens to Brooklyn and of course Manhattan many Jamaican restaurants claim to be the best and quite a few of them are true to their claim. I work in lake Hopectong area and while driving through the town of Natcong, a small town in Morris County, I saw a sign saying Mini Eagle Diner. Being a big fan of Americana it caught my interest but when I saw underneath the sign Jamaican cuisine, I had to do a double take.... an American diner with Jamaican cuisine,,????. What foodie would not stop for that proclamation alone. So I stopped and all else is a fairy tale tailored for food aficionados. This is a magical place for Jamaican cuisine and The magician's name is James. He is the king of his domain. Without any hesitation I dare to say after tasting many of his creations I have come to believe that I never had the real Jamaican food before. Don't miss out jerk pork and chicken, oxtails so lean , so decadent and all this melts in your mouth. James is a great personality to converse with too. He has stories that will get Irish boatmen attention. A homemade smoker den in the backyard of the restaurant with outdoor seating are true surprise of this tour of his castle. James calls himself a magician and so be it. You have to get out there to experience it yourself. I believe if you can guess his age right, he will award you with a sliver of his homemade rum raisin cake, made of centuries old family recipe.. don't worry if you feel stupefied thinking perhaps it's the rum, ..,.. it's definitely the spells he graciously puts on his customers and somewhat unapologetically... Long live the King.... I shall visit your court soon!!!“
“Absolutely amazing experience at this Jamaican eatery! The homemade juice and food were both outstanding. The authenticity of the flavors really shines through. Plus, the owner’s warm hospitality made the visit even more memorable. Highly recommend!“

“I visited this restaurant earlier on a search for good mac and cheese in the area. Upon arriving we were met with extremely friendly staff and imMACulate food! (: curry chicken also tasted great. The manager working was also giving out samples of the Rasta pasta and it was so amazing we ending up ordering some as well even though it wasn’t what we were looking for! We already have plans to come back!“

“This is the closest you can get to Jamaica, incredibly authentic and the jerk chicken is spot on. They must get the sweet red wood shipped in. If you close your eyes and eat the jerk chicken you can almost hear the Caribbean Sea. So happy I found this gem. Makes me wanna take another trip to Jamaica“

“First time ordering I had the salmon with sweet chili glaze. It was delicious, I ordered steamed cabbage and carrots as a side and plantains. I was still able to get another side but I wanted to keep it on the healthier side. Was very happy with my meal which was delivered by grub hub. I will be ordering again.Dietary restrictions: Prepared perfectly“
