“In my continued quest to find a New York style Chinese restaurant, based on recommendations from neighbors, I tried this restaurant. I ordered online at their website which was fairly easy to do. Being a bargain hunter I couldn’t resist the family dinner for six. It came with six egg rolls, six chicken on sticks, six cheese wontons, 2 quarts of soup, two quarts of fried rice, and choice of three entrees. It came with all of the appropriate sauces, crispy noodles, etc. The delivery was promised in 55 minutes and the food arrived exactly on-time. The egg rolls were crispy and very good. The chicken on the stick was very moist and tasty. The wonton soup was tasty and very traditional. The cheese wontons were a very nice starter and the dipping sauce added nice sweetness. For entrees we had sesame chicken which got a thumbs up from my wife. I ordered roast pork lo mein which was also a thumb up. I struggled deciding on a third entree and finally gave in to honey chicken (not my personal favorite because of the thick coating batter). Overall, a very competent dinner. I’m glad the food was really good because we’ll be eating the leftovers for many days!“

“I came to the restaurant in the hope of getting a plate of sashimi. However, the menu did not have it available except for a small couple of pieces portion or a la carte. So I had a sushi roll version made up for me with cucumber. Because it's not a traditional Japanese sushi sashimi place with many fresh fish options, I only had the basic fish options like tuna, salmon and yellowtail. In terms of freshness, it was good. I'm sure the regular sushi rolls are fine but I didn't try any since my heart was set on sashimi. They tried the best they could to accommodate me.“

It’s only been a few times that I’ve been able to stop in since I don’t live close, but whenever I’m in Ridgewood, I like to get something to eat here. It’s tough to find a truly great Chinese restaurant & this place lives up to the hype. The portions are generous, the dishes are saucy & flavorful & fresh. What really seals the deal for me though is the service; they are kind & friendly in a warm, sincere way. Bamboo House has been in business for a long time, for good reason. 10/10“

“Wife and I just bought our first Home and have been searching for the best Chinese food store with the best tasting food. Everything is properly seasoned food is always hot and the portions are great. Also other Chinese food in the area use a weird type of Rice which is disgusting but Golden Garden’s fried rice is to die for. The price is awesome for the quality of food we received. Thank God we Found our Favorite take out spot makes us feel Like we’re back in New York City.

“The best Chinese food in the Warwick area and we have tried others, it was clean and the staff was polite.. I could tell from the taste that the oil is clean and not old. Soup was flavorful. Wontons were full. Shrimp toast was full and not oily as were the spring rolls and lo mein. We enjoyed the shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce. So tasty! I think we finally found a good Chinese food take out restaurant. Will definitely come back.“

“From Wanaque and come up every now and then to Warwick because it is a gorgeous place with an awesome downtown. When I tell you this is the best Chinese food I have had in a LONG time, I mean it! I have tried many places by me and none of them were as amazing as Long Spring.First off, I walked in expecting to just have takeout and find someplace to eat outside or take it home. I am an indecisive person and while a large menu could challenge that, the woman working the place came out and helped me narrow down my options without me even asking she was such a kind soul, and all of the people working in the kitchen were wonderful--funny as well! My partner and I ended up eating in because they had indoor seating, and these people came and brought our food out on PLATES! I was stunned and expected to eat from a takeout container (which would have been perfectly okay too). We ordered pork fried rice, chicken chow fun, and something in garlic sauce (I can't remember my partner's meal off the top of my head). That fried rice was AMAZING. We also got fortune cookies and they had candy at the front for us to take.An incredible experience and one I will most definitely return to as soon as I can! “This food is the closest to NY Chinese food Ive ever experienced since moving to NJ 18 yrs ago. no more asking for pork fried rice & receiving orange rice with nothing in it, fried wontons are fried, MSG. yum yum-everything Ive ordered is delicious. Everything was delicious, had great flavors and nothing was too oily.

“Food is delicious, fresh and hot every time. The food is definitely made in clean pans and oil and the taste reflects that. Not overly salty. We’ve ordered Lo mein, steamed dumplings, chicken with garlic sauce, general tsos chicken, chicken with broccoli and pork fried rice. Five star review every time, this is our third time ordering and the new Chinese place for us in the indefinite future. Fast delivery usually. I recommend Calling them versus using seamless app. Nice customer service taking order over the phone.“

“Best best best. I have given gift cards to 3 or 4 friends in WM (where we never had good food) and this place is so much like China Town NYC. Whoever said it's not hot? It's hot a half hour later, trust me we live a half hour away, piping hot. I have never one time in 100's of time had a bad meal here. Especially love their soups, Ginger Chicken, General Tao, sometimes the boneless ribs are too chewy, but if you ask for them tender and well done, they do that. The soups might be a bit expensive but all else to me, is well deserved and fairly paid.“

“It was tough to rate this restaurant fairly. 1 reviewer said authentic Chinese, best he had un 50 years. NO, then he has not had authentic chinese. It is Americanized Chinese food, and I have been to China. Now for Amer. Chinese food, the scallion pancakes were bad, doughy not crunchy at all, a 1 star. The basil beef was pretty decent, with enough basil and flavors, although my medium spice was more mild, but that is very subjective at each restaurant. The important thing is that the base dish was flavorful, a 3.5 to 4 star. HnS soup was a 3 star. Pretty std for American Chinese HnS soup. Important question: Would I go back? If it was more local, yes, I would probably have this as my std place. But with a 20-minute drive, I can go elsewhere.“

“All the people, with their negative reviews maybe they don’t have the right place. I’ve been eating here for the last decade and honestly their food has always been delicious. I’ve always compared their Chinese food to other places and other places have always disappointed for the most part besides another place locally as well! “Food is decent, typical Chinese food. A tad greasier than others. A bit pricey. My first order was a small pork fried rice and an egg roll and it was $11. My most recent order was chicken and broccoli combo (comes with PFR and egg roll) and it was $14 for a container that is a bit smaller than the usual Chinese container size. The chicken was very soft and the broccoli was very crunchy - I typically like both the broccoli and the chicken cooked more. The egg rolls were good but extra greasy. The inside dining area is not very inviting, but they take the orders fast and make the food quickly for takeout. They don't give you any sauce, noodles, fortune cookies, etc in the bag, you have to take from the counter and I think there are extra charges for some of those. In summary, it's a tad pricey for ok Chinese takeout.“
