“Don Pepe never disappoints! Their food is absolutely amazing, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and service you receive. I ordered a calamari to go, and the bartender (a super friendly guy) was fantastic. He was incredibly nice and even threw in a huge piece of bread—easily 10 inches long! “From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.

The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.

“Our waiter Steve was very attentive and humorous. In fact the entire wait staff team was excellent. We ordered arugula salad, raw oysters, and Greek style octopus and they were delicious and portion is big for party of three. We have porterhouse-for-two and boned-in filet mignon for entries and were perfectly prepared. For deserts, we took Steve's recommendation of Key lime pie and cream brulee and they were fantastic, especially key lime pie. Overall it was an excellent experience and beyond my expectation.“

“Stopped here for a big banquet, they have a big room to one side that they can break out and do big celebrations and more. Lots of courses, delicious dimsum with coconut shrimp, the beef & broccoli was authentic, and the crispy chicken was excellent. Other dishes like the noodle and vegetarian dishes were ok (although a little bland compared to some of the other dishes). A good mix of authentic and Americanized Chinese dishes available.“

Classic menu,clean kitchen,tasty/quality ingredients and not dripping with grease.

Spare ribs are the meaty,irregular shaped, crispy/charred, dark red chunks of juicy meat type. This vs the long rectangular strip type covered in sweet red sauce(which has its moments too)
