“I try to come here every week. It's nice to have just a "normal" deli in town, especially on the west side. (As you can see from my reviews, I'm not a fan of hype over practicality ?). Staff is friendly and they get to know you, and care about you as their customer. Bagels are good of course - and I like that their burgers are not huge. It's silly, but I got excited when they started selling rainbow bagels. Prices are reasonable given the state of prices in general. It's much better coming here for a normal meal than paying for an expensive restaurant on Park Ave.“

“They have SO much of my money, LOL. It's my favorite bagel place on the planet, despite the very unusual (and sometimes forgetful, I hate to admit) service style. Your order will start and finish with the same employee. Personally, I rather like this style of service because I really get to interact with the staff in a more one-on-one way (I like feeling like I'm NOT moving down a line of human automatons like Chipotle). There are times, however, I wish it was just faster and less friendly, LOL. The owner, Olga, is the sweetest woman in the world. She decorates for every holiday and always looks her best. I also love that she works just the same as every other employee; she doesn't manage from afar. I always get the impression her employees love her, too, especially since many of the workers have been there FOREVER. THE BAGELS ARE THE BEST! The texture, the stretch, the size, the flavor: all the best. They have some deli products too, so a great place for lunch as well. Order a taylor ham, egg, and cheddar cheese on a toasted and buttered everything bagel with salt and pepper. Or you can order my other favorite: scallion cream cheese, lox, and extra red onion on a salt bagel (not toasted). When I am not in the tri-state area, THIS is the breakfast I miss the most. When people visit me, THIS is where I take them. The cinnamon rolls are also excellent. They are not made in-house, but are made locally and are amazing.“

“Yo Alex, you’re the man. You said this chopped cheese was gonna be the best—and you weren’t kidding. This is hands down the best chopped cheese I’ve had on the island without crossing over into Brooklyn.

The staff is super friendly, the whole place feels like home, and Alex himself is a serious jokester. Honestly, the entire experience felt like a Seinfeld episode in the best way possible. And shoutout to the guy behind the stove—you can tell he put real love into that roll.

“The food and service is always on point. I live in Brooklyn but love to stop here whenever I’m in the city or when I’m showing visitors around. I’ve had the avocado toast, the rueben benedict (a must), salmon benedict and the ranchero (brisket dish) and it all hits!! I have yet to try the lunch menu but it’s just the perfect breakfast spot. Coffee is always great too. Just consistently good food and such warm friendly service.“

Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. “I was visiting and asked someone on the street where I could grab a bagel and they directed me to Bagel Bob’s. So thankful they did. Best bagels, incredible people, generous friendly caring family people. They greeted me warmly every day, remembered what we talked about the day before, asked about my day and seemed genuinely interested. This was my first solo trip and they made me feel right at home. And a beautiful plant showed up on my last day which was lovely. I’ll definitely be staying in this neighborhood the next time I’m visiting but daily breakfast here just isn’t enough. “I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“Excellent breakfast choice in FiDi at the East end of Wall Street. Modern interior, spacious seating and a big breakfast menu featuring bagels, salads, eggs, fresh squeezed orange juice, sandwiches, and they get a huge plus for having turkey bacon. The restaurant was immaculately clean and the food fresh. I wish they toasted my bagel more and it wasn't the best bagel ever for NY but very good nonetheless. Highly recommended ‼️“

“This place was recommended to us for our “authentic NYC bagel stop” while on our trip and it did NOT disappoint!!!!

We stopped in at 11am on a Friday and there was no line, and even a few tables open (yes, this place has tables inside for you to sit and enjoy your bagels…it’s awesome). Dude at the register was super nice, and we were kind of still deciding our order when we were next which he was super patient about.

I got the bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel (plus avocado) and my husband got the same but with vegan bacon (which he said was delicious!). We paired our sandwiches with iced lattes, which were way better than we were expecting. We snagged a comfy table and both ate our entire orders. We nearly went back for seconds to try something else on the menu! We left just before 12:30, which appeared to be when the lunch rush was coming in. The line was pretty long but moving quickly on our way out.

Really hope we can make it back here before we leave NYC! One of the best, if not the best, bagel I’ve had, and in a clean, comfortable place with great service. A gem of a bagel shop!!“

I found the bagels to be soft enough for my kid which was a big deal for him.

Ordered two iced macchiatos without the sugar which was really good

The lady at the register was sweet and welcoming.

Tried the flavors and my personal fav is the tomato cream cheese with everything bagel!! Don’t be fooled by its simpleness, as the bagel itself, the crispness, the salt flake, the tomato, the cream cheese, the seasoning..everything is just absolutely wonderfully made! “Broadway Bagel is good for a lot of things but it's better to tell you what its not good for because it's smaller. their pastrami, very chewy & fatty. I got a wrap & was horrible because I was fighting with the pastrami to bite off a piece & then getting fat in your mouth is disgusting. At times when I get a breakfast sandwich with bacon it's like that's when they choose to hide fatty bacon instead of giving you well cooked bacon. How does an establishment do that to their customers? The tuna wrap w/ French fries, I usually order but now they're adding lettuce when before it was onions & avocado now they're putting celery & adding lettuce. why did they mess with such a great sandwich? Certain staff I work with like their blueberry pancakes, homefries, BLT. But like I said too many times I bought a BLT & it was filled with a lot of fatty bacon. I look at my food before I eat it. They used to have different flavors of OJ, Mango/Pineapple, Strawberry/Banana/Orange, but now all they have is regular OJ. They're changing how they made stuff and they changed the working crew so all I can say is I mostly get breakfast. It's hit & Miss for a lot of things because I like my food the way anyone having a business should make the food for their customers; with love & as best as possible.“
