“After eating so much (pizza etc )we needed to eat something different, spicy and booked this gem,as it as near to our hotel. It was also our 40th wedding anniversary. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay,try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. “We enjoyed a pleasant lunch at Spice Symphony.
We are originally from Mumbai and this place took us back to our roots. The ambience, hospitality and taste were a 5/5.
The servers were attentive and prompt to respond.
We were a noisy bunch seated there because it was a family reunion, but the staff were still kind and accommodating. They made sure we felt at home and the rest of the restaurant guests were not inconvenienced by us.

My personal favourite is the Dahi Kebab, Palak paneer and Rasmalai.
I tasted the Chinese food from one of my cousin’s choices and relished the Hakka Noodles.

“I've been here twice so far with my family. Each time they have been exceedingly patient with my deaf relative and also have made custom dishes and revisions to menu items for various needs. (For instance, I can't have a particular common spice and they made my food without it.)

The waiter gave great recommendations to us. The plates are beautifully presented, and so appealing I forgot to take pictures for the most part -- we had to taste them immediately.

The portions are generous and flavors absolutely perfect. I highly recommend the pani puri, the lamb shank (perfection!), duck saag, and desserts.

“This is a great spot for the people that are familiar with the Indian cuisine and are looking for a comfort food spot. Their chicken curry was really creamy and tasty and the meat was tender. Their waiter was really kind and patient with us but the food did take a little longer than we expected. I have enjoyed the mango lassi, lamb korma, samosas, shrimp appetizer, pakora, sag paneer, and dal.

If you want minimal spice, just let them know and they will adjust their dishes. We never get to dessert because the food is so filling!“
