“This is one of my favorite restaurants on the Upper West Side. Many great menu items, but my favorite is their chicken pot pie (see pic). I also often order the bruschetta - it’s always prepared perfectly. The ambiance of an Irish pub is full of character. The food, the drinks, and the service here is consistently excellent.“

“Where do I begin. Our visit to the Shannon Rose was outstanding. From the nice young lady at the door to our server Edgar who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. When we arrived Trivia was going on, and it was such a delight watching everyone participating in the game. We arrived wanting drinks to end the night, and The Shannon Rose did night disappoint. Our server Edgar was very kind, and very knowledgeable about what we should order, plus very handsome. Kudos to the bartender the drinks were delish!!!! We will DEFINITELY go back for the Trivia Tuesday and for dinner and drinks. What a fun way to end the evening. I hope that the next visit will be as enjoyable as the last one. We hope to have Edgar as our server. Thank you..Thank you.. Thank you!Parking: Tons of parking space. There are extra spaces at the Target parking lot.“

“Love this place! Great food, great drinks, service is always speedy and pleasant. Depending on what time and day you go you'll have a variety of different but interesting people to chat with, unless you just feel like people watching which is fine too.“

“Wandered into this bar on a friday and had a delightful experience. Impressive service, great cocktails, delicious top tier bar food. Staff were friendly and attentive. The volume level is perfect for conversation and I enjoyed that they had ESPN on with “
“Fun little venue. I went to a show where it wasn't packed, although I've heard it can get very crowded. I liked that I could get up close to the stage and see someone perform who I'd also seen at a very large venue in Philly. I didn't get to try their food, but liked that you can also get food there. There seemed to be ample parking where you didn't have to worry about competing with residents to find a spot. If you're looking for something gimmicky, you won't find that here. Just down a down to earth place where it's the performer who is the draw and who keeps your attention.“
“I have been going to one bar or another for over 50 (!) years, but my search for the best bar has ended. Deacon Brodie's is small, dark, beautifully decorated, and employs the three best bartenders I have yet to encounter (particularly Chris). While you can't get food here, you can get expertly mixed cocktails using the finest quality garnishments and an ever changing choice of beer. Two freshly refurbished bathrooms as well. A terrific place to hang out.“
“The absolute best dive bar I’ve ever been to! A friend and I came up from North Carolina for the weekend and stumbled upon Charlie’s…. 10/10!! We instantly felt welcomed and the bartenders are the best! Make sure you go on karaoke night!“

“My son and I visited JK's Boathouse for drinks and Thursday night Karaoke a few weeks back and enjoyed so much, I returned 2 weeks later. People are so friendly, lots of fun Karaokeers and Tabby the bartender MASTERS the bar and gets you your next beer before you know you're low!“

“The best pork cutlet restaurant. The best pork cutlet on the outside. I tried all of New Jersey looking for delicious pork cutlet. This is the best. I highly recommend it.Mulnaengmyeon is said to be a bit salty because it is made from pocha, but it was a bit salty to eat as food, so it was just that. The noodles were chewy and the soup had a thin ice.The boiled pork is perfectly moist and delicious. Highly recommended. The water ribs were truly disappointing. It was $45 for a small dish, but it felt like I was eating $45 bean sprouts. All I got were 10 pieces of marbled beef that looked like they were piled high on top.Inside is literally just a mountain of bean sprouts and nothing to eat. There are almost no other vegetables.Humanly speaking, that price is a waste of money. $45 is a rip-off.Still, I will go back to eat the pork cutlet stew.“

The spaghetti and salmon dish is a revelation - perfectly cooked pasta paired with succulent salmon, topped with a flavorful sauce that keeps me coming back for more. Barbecue chicken. The friendly staff always make me feel like family, and the selection of drinks is top-notch. Whether you're craving classic Irish fare or something a bit different like this amazing pasta dish, this pub delivers excellence every time. A must-visit for anyone in search of great food, great drinks!“

“A very nice bar with a variety of beers that you will find interesting. The ambience and the decorations are something you want from a Manhattan sports bar. The bar tenders and waiters were super cool and polite. I had a great time there on my last night in NY.“
“Great local Irish bar. I was staying a week at a nearby hotel and this place had the exact Irish bar feel I needed. I instantly felt like a regular they were glad to see, coming and going. Proper for an Irish place. Good pours on the beers. I was here for the first 2016 Presidential Debates and there was a lot of opinions, but in true NYC style, nobody got bent, no matter how much of a (&%$g idiot the other person was.“

“This was on my list to visit and I was able to do so today. I had dinner there and the steak was good but wish it came out warmer... I think it was waiting for my friend's salmon to be cooked as her food was hotter. The mash potatoes was hot though. The espresso martini was good definitely deserves a return. Service was absolutely excellent. Mauricio was pleasant, personable, and charming also funny.Overall lovely place I would return to, for sure..maybe they have brunch I'll need to check but then again maybe not as it opens at 4 pm.Parking: There is a parking lot but it doesn't look huge and it's across the street from the establishment.. You can do street parking I don't believe I saw any meters.“

“Just what it should be! Comfortable inviting local pub with great food. Wings, burgers, pizzas, salads etc. we ordered 2 kinds of wings, garlic parmesan and buffalo. Super crispy with the right amount of sauce for the flavor and not ruin the crispness!“

“Tommy Fox's Public House in Bergenfield, New Jersey is a cool bar that has that cool Irish pub feel to it. The service was friendly and the customers were pretty friendly here, as well. I did not try any of the food, but it looked to be what you would expect from a bar. This is definitely a cool.place to gather with some friends and overall, I would recommend here.“

“Woohoo Green Bay Packers bar with sound on! Love the relaxed and spacious vibe of this place, bartenders are attentive. No table service so order at the bar. GET THE CHEESE CURDS! Omg they are legit and pieces of heaven. Friendly crowd on game day, and there is more garden space outside (with a tv). Can't comment on the live music yet, but happy to come back and enjoy the games!“

“Wow. For someone who is picky and just about never satisfied this was a surprising win in my book. The area is known for swanky vibes and this delivered but in a genuine way. Upon arrival valet was friendly and quick which was much appreciated as I was already running late. Upon entering I could tell how fun and airy this place was. We had an attentive and friendly server who took great care of us. We ordered cocktails which were tasty and a few apps (calamari, hummus and tuna tartare) and entrees were their beet salad and mussels dish. Everything from the ambiance to the drinks/food and service was great. I wouldn't call it high end luxury dining but definitely worth the money and time especially with the views. The one thing was the bathroom was small for such a place but we had no issues during our visit and it was very clean. All in all I will definitely be looking to return and recommend!Parking: Definitely plan for only valet as this is on the ridge of the hwy and no apparent park yourself.“

“We have been coming to Davey's for years. It is a great local spot to go for a few drinks and have some bar food. It is a causal Irish pub. All the bartenders are friendly. Their food has gone downhill in my opinion, because their menu has changed. For example, they no longer have the godfather sandwich on the menu. Their chicken fingers have recently changed, and are not as good as they used to be. However, I love the honey mustard and horseradish dipping sauce they come with. They do have some of the best bloody marys in the area.“

“Love Amity, been going to both locations for years… however, there have been several occasions within the last year where the uptown location has been hosting private events and we’ve either had to move in the middle of our drinks or we’ve been sequestered into the small crowded back bar area… can you at least post on your website when you’re hosting a private event, gone out of my way several times to be left disappointed and squished.“

“Was on our way to another bar, "late" last night (not even Midnight) after having been turned aside by the Marriott but then drove by Andy's Corner and immediately pulled a U-ey.This place is a gem. The bartender is swell and the vibe is laid-back friendly. You might think "Dive Bar" (in the best possible way) when walking up to the front door, but what you get when you open the door is a Classy Establishment. To the backyard party-goers of Bergen County--- leave your block, for the love of Mike, and patronize this place. It's in your neighborhood, after all!!“
“Honestly I only caught the place for the last hour of the night but I had fun and most importantly actually got that after work drink i was craving. Glad there are a few places open after the regular bar scene or staff (from other bars) would have nowhere to go and sit for one.“

“We went to the 101 Pub to watch a Knicks game and the bartender was extremely accommodating. Tim put the game on for us on the TV in front of us. They have many TVs at the bar. We ordered some spicy chicken tenders which were delicious! Tim kept replacing my beer as soon as I was done. Very chill bar for both families and just groups of friends.“

“First night back in NYC and found this gem of a bar a block or so from Yotel where we were staying. The bar was packed with locals for the Nicks game and the atmosphere was fantastic. Bar staff were quick and real nice. Got me a couple bourbon old fashioneds and gin for the missus. Well made drinks and not shy with the booze. I loved it.“

“This is a beer parlor across the street from Columbia U. --and the food is all vegan! The food is beer-parlor comfort food: small bites, not super-health oriented--but super delicious. I had a BBQ Korean taco, my friend had sliders and a beer--we were both blown away. To emphasize: this is not a restaurant per se, but a beer parlor with a bunch of vegan food. I myself am not a beer drinker, but I noticed that they have loads of beers on tap, and I will return here anyway since the food is so good.“

“McHales is within a stone’s throw of Time Square and a bunch of hotels, but somehow manages to retain a local feel. I say somehow, but this is because the founder, Paul, is a dead-set champion bloke, the rest of the staff are authentic and welcoming, the space is large enough to have some privacy and small enough to feel cosy, and sitting at the bar is a classic New York Irish treat (without the sticky beer-stained feel). I found it while I was there for PLUS NEW YORK (if you know, you know) and invited brokers to come and see me there. So, when in NYC, get yourself down there and sit back, relax, eat good food, say hi to Paul and the team and enjoy.“

“Great local vibes here with a solid food and drink menu. Great service as well. Outdoor seating in the warmer months. My only knock is the noise. They have brick walls in the inside which don't absorb sound. It gets loud when crowded, which makes conversation a challenge. Something to consider if that's important you. Also, live music can be very loud. I wish they'd dial the volume down a tad on their speakers.“

They accomadated putting the game we wanted on by the pool table however the bartender/waitress was very overwhelmed so her response wasnt the best...Bar pizza was 8/10..fries regular...lemon pepper wings had a bad after taste...music was good (itunes)“
“Drinks are cheaper than most bars and the crowd is mixed but respectful. No live music, but there is a jukebox and there’s a patio in the back with seating. Definitely a good vibe. Busiest after 9/10pm. Although they don’t serve food, you can bring food in. Still rate it 5 stars.“
