“Really No. 1 tacos for me!
I had passed by Los Tacos No. 1 several times, but the line was always so long that I never stopped. This time, maybe because the weather wasn’t great, there was hardly any line, so I decided to give it a try.
And wow—it was so, so good! The tacos were absolutely delicious. Now I understand why there is always a line here.

“Amazing shrimp burrito and chicken quesadillas. Ingredients are quality, you can taste the freshness of the tomatoes for sure. Staff was super welcoming and fun to talk to for a solo diner. Al Pastor tacos looked amazing (sadly I do not eat pork or I would have devoured them). Green salsa is spicy, but they give you a fair warning. Will come back next time I’m in the city“

“This was one of the stops on our food tour and honestly it was one of the best tacos I ever ate. Really outstanding with verde salsa on it, I devoured it before remembering to take a pic. It was one of my 2 favorite stops on the tour, would definitely return!“

“Just wow! Having been to Taqueria Ramirez, I already knew the tacos at Carnitas Ramirez weren’t going to let me down. And they certainly didn’t! Every taco I had was outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the corn tortillas were top notch. There’s also a nice assortment of salsas and toppings at a DIY counter so you can dress them up however you like. Everyone was super friendly too. Absolutely worth the trip, and I can’t wait to return.“

“Very yummy tacos with great service. The tortillas are made fresh in house and the ingredients taste really fresh! The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the service was super quick. There's comfortable seating and you can put your own sauce on like salsa verde. Generous serving sizes as well. Highly recommend eating here if you're in the area! They have horchata as well which was the perfect amount of sweet and helped calm down the spice from the tacos.“

“AMAZING tacos! I happened to be wandering around when I came across this place. Was hungry so I stopped in. I got 3 chicken tacos and 1 steak. They were very nice and even directed me on what to avoid because of my shellfish allergy! Can’t wait to eat here again!“

“Staff is great at making sure you know how to place your order, as it can be confusing for first timers (we weren’t the only ones).
Between three of us who visited, we ordered all of the taco options. The carne asada, pollo asado, and adobada tacos were a hit - the meat was flavorful and tender. The cactus was just okay, and the only flavor was spicy. We all got flour tortillas, which were soft and held up well. The person making my tacos made part and then made someone else’s in between, so I think he got confused and tossed a bunch of onions in mine, even though I specified no onions. I understand mistakes happen, but he covered it with guac sauce and then said “no onions” when handing them to me. I ended up having to pick them out but still enjoyed the tacos. The chips and guac are really good and fresh, and the red agua fresca (I forgot the flavor) that was recommended to me was also very good.
As far as the location, it was conveniently on the way from Battery Park to Brooklyn Bridge. No seating, just bar tops for a quick meal. No restrooms either. Bright and pretty clean for how busy it is.“

“First - this food is incredible. Spent a lot of time in Houston, ATX, MX, and other taco strongholds. This is more than on par with the best of all of them. Also, fast and fresh.
Second - customer service at both locations is top-tier, from the leadership to the front-of-house.
I was hesitant to write this because I loathe waiting in lines and fear blowing up a cherished spot (that’s already famous - you get it), but I believe in giving credit and celebrating where it’s due. And here, it certainly is.“

“Best tacos in Jersey that I’ve had so far. We ordered chicken tacos Birria style and they were so good. The girl taking orders was really kind and helped us with our order and brought our food to the table. Their salsa verde is good too. $35 for 7 tacos and a jarrito.

“Went in the late afternoon for a little snack and ordered the tripe and lengua tacos. Was blown away by the lengua that I ordered another two to go. Typically the beef tongue I've had have always been diced but they serve it in a big chunky piece here and its texture is luscious. Fresh ingredients and solid corn tortillas.
Very efficient, kind service as they brought out the food to me at the table during off-peak hours.
They are a little pricey but felt like a special treat I was happy to pay for.“

I’ve had great tacos in all the regular spots in North America you’d expect to eat great tacos and these made me feel like I won the Wolrd Cup in Azteca Stadium and married the love of my life on the same day. “This was the best Mexican meal I've ever had outside of Mexico City itself. Note that the food here is based on the cuisines of two Mexican states in the southern and central western parts of Mexico: Oaxaca and Jalisco. Two friends, my wife, and I really loved the tuna tostados, truffle esquites (street corn), arrachera, veggie tacos, and churros that were all part of the Power Lunch menu. We also enjoyed their Sangria and Gringo drinks. Our server, Sharon, was very frinedly and knew the menu well. My only minor nit was that she asked us how our appetizers were before we had even touched them. I highly recommend Kahlo to people who like flavorful food and would like to try a different kind of Mexican food.“

“I must say it is a good place to eat and most important things is that they have lots of vegetarian options. I must say cleaninest and food quality is awesome.
I would suggest everyone to try their local drinks what they are making in their house. I tried lemonade and must say it my one of the best.“
