When I walked in the staff was helpful.I purchased (cash only) their vanilla pound cake. Would I say it's the best cake I've ever had? No. I wasn't a fan of the icing. We split the spicy chicken empanadas, delicious, however, we did not detect the spice. We split the green chili Caesar. Honestly, the best Caesar in town. I do t see how they get it so cold and crisp, it's amazing! We then each had a ceviche. The baby shrimp, which were much bigger than anticipated, such wonderful flavor! My daughter had the crab, the server suggested mixing it right away to get the sauce mixed in. Very good! It did need more liquid. We simply poured the extra shrimp sauce in the crab, it was superb after that. The tomato on the shrimp just gives it more moisture and such a good flavor! We can't wait to go back!“

“Lots of sweet potato goodies: pie, cheesecake, pound cake, cupcakes. There were a few other flavours of mini pie as well. I couldn’t decide between a the pie and the pound cake, but since the pies are only sold in packs of 2 and I was just buying for myself, I went for the pound cake, which I was very happy with. It wasn’t too sweet or oily (a lot of the desserts in the market looked like they were going to be both of these, so this was a relief to find), had a dense but tender texture, and mellow but very pleasant and natural sweet potato flavour. Even though it was a big piece of cake it didn’t sit too heavy with me. I was helped by one of the owners who was very kind.“

“SO Good!! Lost Bread is a bakery and mill in Philadelphia. I found their table at the entrance to the Schuylkill River Park. The table is unassuming, yet filled with so much. “I hosted my wife's surprise 40th birthday party at a restaurant near Chloe's Creme Puffs, right in Pitman. It worked out where I set up pickup an hour prior to the surprise. I ordered 50 chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, as well as a red velvet cake. They did an excellent job decorating everything to match. All the locals were surprised to find out Chloe's did more than just creme puffs. Cupcakes can be hit or miss, but the texture and icing were enjoyed by all.
