“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

“I finally got the chance to try Crumbl Cookies and I’m so glad I was able to try the lineup for this week. The cookies were delicious, Kentucky butter cake and sticky bun were my favorite. The pink velvet and Banana upside down cake were tasty as well. The staff was nice, and I didn’t have to wait long for my order even ordering ahead. One of selections ended up being sold out and the workers decided to give me a free cookie. I’ll definitely be back, I can’t wait for next’s week lineup.“

“I ordered a Banana Cream Pie for my husband birthday and it was ready on time and was so good. The cake was beautify decorated and look better in person than the website picture. I am not a fan of pies but I agree that this was exceptionally delicious, sometimes frosting tastes very artificial to me and this was not, it was light and creamy. I also got some cookies and cheese strudel and they were just as good. I will definitely order from here again“

“From price quote, to cake pickup, to eating I had a phenomenal experience. I splurged for my 30th birthday for a custom cake. La Bon was affordable for what I wanted which was amazing. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. It was decadent but not too sweet (especially with black frosting, I was pleasantly surprised), perfectly piped frosting, and perfectly light and flavorful strawberries and cream filling. The employee seemed bothered we ordered desserts from the display. “I am very happy I took a chance on sunmerry. I’ve had sunmerry in Taiwan, and the products were very good there.

I ordered a taro pudding cake, and sunmerry delivered. The cream was light and airy, and not heavy/oily(like the frosting on the cakes at Paris baguette). The taro was actual taro paste, and the pudding was not overwhelming. It was the first time I finished a slice of cake with the frosting altogether.

“I ordered a Baked Bouquet for my grandma’s 99th birthday and it was a huge hit! When we brought it out, everyone genuinely thought it was a real flower arrangement — the detail was unbelievable. People were actually hesitant to eat it because it looked so pretty!

Their fresh baked breads, cookies, pastries as well as their delicious pizza dough is to me personally, the BEST you can buy in all of Union. A family owned business when I found them 15 years ago, now owned by yet another sweet, friendly and always welcoming family. Try them!??????“

“Many Colombian eateries in the area, and an equally diverse mix of bakeries. However this is the one I visit the most because it's delicious, consistent (!), inexpensive, and clean. Don't be put off by any lines inside, they move quickly. A+ all around!“
